More World Series Photo Blogging
Friend and Cardinal fan Chris and his son Sawyer went down to Game 4 of the World Series tonight. Unfortunately, the game was called after two hours because of the constant drizzle. Game 4 will be replayed on Friday. Game 5 will be played tomorrow if the rain gods allow it.
Here are tonight's World Series photos (taken from a Chris's cell phone!) at Busch Stadium in St. Louis...
Chris and his son Sawyer sat for two hours before the game was called tonight in wet St. Louis.
Well, this gives the Detroit Tigers another day before they get pounded by the Cardinals anyway.

Game FIVE is tomorrow, BEFORE Game FOUR on Friday?
I'm sorry, this makes no sense. Will the record books record Friday's game as the fourth, and Thursday's as the fifth? This will mislead future generations.
Suppose the Cards win "Game FIVE" tomorrow. That gives them a 3-1 lead in the series. If the Tigers then win "Game FOUR" on Friday, it will appear on the books as if the series were tied 2-2, and the Cards won the fifth. This makes a huge difference in measuring the Series against history.
Suppose - I know it's unlikely - that Detroit comes back to win the Series after St. Louis wins "Game FIVE" tomorrow. It will appear as if they won the last two, after losing the "fifth" to go down 3-2. That's impressive, but not nearly so impressive as coming back from being down 3-1 is considered.
The next darned game is Game FOUR, no matter what MLB says.

I thought the same thing... But, the tickets tonight are marked game 5. Friday night's tickets from Wednesday night are marked game 4.
Does that make sense?

I will ask. The day before my brother sent pictures on his cell phone from the game and they looked liked puffy clouds.

Those pic's turned out pretty good. As for the type of phone, it's a Treo 650, Sprint Model.
Laying off tonight, my brother wanted to go. Gonna hit it again tomorrow.
Same phone I have! Haven't taken any night photos like that though...
