Edwards Stumps at the Church Pulpit

For some reason, I don't think this would be getting the same reception in the mainstream media if it was a Republican holding a political rally at a Christian Church- MLK Day, or not.

Former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., third from left, joins Martin Luther King III, left, his wife Elizabeth , the Rev. James A. Forbes Jr. and others at a "Realizing the Dream," Martin Luther King Day commemoration at Riverside Church in New York.

You know that a Republican holding a rally at a Christian church would get nothing, but then again, that Republican is not the Silky Pony boy.

(What you don't see in this photo but can see in other shots from the event is the Silky Pony rubbing shoulders with smiling Al-Hajj Talib Abdur-Rashid, the imam of the Mosque of Islamic Brotherhood, Inc. His burka clad wifey is with him and she's smiling, too. They're of the Sunni persuasion, BTW. Can't tell your Muslims without a scorecard.)

The ACLU would threaten to sue to cause the church to lose it's tax-exempt status... as they are already doing.
