Governor Blanco Announces She Will Not Run Again (Video)
Obviously, Governor Blanco did not bounce back in the polls since the dark days of Katrina.
Kathleen Blanco announced today that she will not run again for Governor of Louisiana.

There is no word yet on if she is blaming George Bush for this, too.
The governor was under fire for a number of reasons including her unwillingness remove dead bloating bodies from the streets and her refusal to send in the National Guard in the days after Katrina hit land.
She did send the guard into Louisiana in June 2006 to help control a surge in killings.

Get your head out of the party sandbox. ALL levels of government were incompetent in the response to the disaster, including the federal government. And by the way, it was the Road Home program that killed Blanco's chances for re-election, much more than her sad Katrina response. THOSE are the facts of the matter.
