...But, are willing to travel half the globe to meet with Syria and the Hamas-led Palestinian Government this weekend!

Pelosi refused to give support to America's closest allies this week saying that "inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful." Besides she is too busy packing to go meet with the Syrians and Palestinian Government to care!

WASHINGTON (AP) - Members of the House left Washington on Friday for their two-week spring break without weighing in on the international crisis tormenting the nation's closest ally: the capture of 15 British sailors and marines by Iran.Shocking! What a prime example of the democrat's ignorant and dangerous foreign policy actions!
The omission by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., is being noted by some Republicans, who say they should have gotten the chance to join the Senate in denouncing Tehran's bold actions.
"I am very disappointed that the speaker chose not to act," said Rep. Charles Dent, R-Pa.
"I believe it's important for us as Americans to show our solidarity with the Britons," he added in a phone interview Friday. "The British are our closest allies, and I think we have to stand next to them in a moment like this."
The Senate on Thursday, before adjourning for its one-week break, passed a resolution condemning the act "in the strongest possible terms" and calling for the sailors "immediate, safe and unconditional release."
Pelosi's spokesman Brendan Daly said the speaker was reluctant to weigh in on the incident without knowing that such a message would do more good than harm. Daly said the British government had not asked Congress to try to pressure Tehran.
"The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful," Daly said.
Pelosi is traveling in the Middle East, where she plans to visit Syria, Israel and the West Bank.

Hell is paved with such intentions; no wonder the Syrians are feeling some wind in their sails. As usual, it will be left to us, Lebanese and Iraqis, to bleed while her excellency jaw-jaws.
Sorry to hear that but am afraid you are correct. I am wondering what is taking Hezbollah so long to start the chaos in Western Iran?

The short answer is they've been defeated already; they just have not received the memo yet. And they will keep clutching at straws thrown at them by useful idiots such as Pelosi. And we will keep on bleeding. Maybe we should consider a class action suit.
As to the long answer, it is related to their structure, but mostly, to the fact that Hezb is not the strongest single group in Lebanon. At that was before the July war and their losses.
Now lets say that someone tries to kill the head of your party... and then comes by asking for help to do more of the same, what would you do?
That is the question coming to Congress as it is petitioned by a terrorist organization that tried to Assassinate President Clinton while he was on an overseas tour. But since it isn't an Islamic Terrorist group but a Leftist Terrorist group, that group thinks it has an *in* with this Congress.
That is not just cowardice, to give in to those that try to use violence against you... it is a strange form of suicide to *help them* to kill more.
Terrorism has been threatening and killing us in non-Islamic Forms, and each of those is awful in its own right. I am not surprised at the sheer inaiblity of Congress to find any hard calcium that might even come close to forming a backbone... that has been evident for over 15 years and more like 30, now.
If this Congress gives in, then it is not just merely cowardice, but actively aiding those that wish to kill Americans and its government. Of which Congress is a part.
I do not look forward to seeing just how suicidal this Congress will be towards the Nation. And themselves.
This is not all guys the Dems have been doing all they possibly can to undermine our efforts.
This meeting with Assad, going along with the Mrs Pelosi is Ellison the CAIR rep that is a new freshman Dem. They are also supposed to meet Olmert that should be interesting.
Pelosi has also refused to give a hollow word of support to our stuanchest allies the Brits in thier time of need, (can't imagine why Iran would feel embolden). Pelosi would love to see the Brits tuck tail and run home from Iraq, they don't care about the Brits future or our future just the immediate PR acheivment from more allies leaving our Coalition.
Pelosi deliberatly not funding the war by sending a resolution that they know full well Bush will veto then going on vacation.
Something else not so often mentioned is just recently the Pelosi did find time on the agenda to pass a Armenian Genocide bill. This bill will outrage our allies in Turkey especially the Turkish military groups. WHY NOW well this bill in my opinion was a direct attempt to try to split Turkey off from US in the exact time we maybe requiring those air bases in Turkey. The current Turkish gov don't want to war with Iran or even support our effort only but the Turkish Military is deep historical allies this Bill undercuts that support in a very convienent time if not what I suspect diliberate.
Sedition is a crime my freinds and should be treated as such. We are so far past the "don't question thier patriotism" level I am starting to wonder if our leadership even wants to win or just act like they do.
