Prophet Makes "Presidential" Slip- Twists Twister Count (Video)

Barak Obama made a slight miscalculation on the carnage in Kansas last night stating 10,000 died in a town of 1,574 where 10 people died last week in a devastating tornado.

Via Michelle Malkin

Of course, he was twisting the twister damage to score political points on a story that has no truth to it.
But, heh, he's democrat!

The Times Online spun the gaffe this way:

It was "Presidential".

Roanoke.com buried the gaffe...
"Obama energizes Richmond crowd".

The Chicago Sun Times said he overstated the Kansas tornado deaths.

ABC also reported that Obama overstated the tornado deaths.

Not one of the articles reported that the attacks by Obama and the democrats were false! ...Only 10% of Kansas guard members are deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan and only 10% of the available units were called to the disaster area.

I can walk up the street to the KANG armory on Edgemoor and see dozens of HMMV's, generators, trucks, ambulances, etc. just sitting there in the storage lot. If we run short we have FREAKIN' FORT RILEY up the road, as well as MCCONNELL AFB in town.

We have thousands of KNG members available for call-up. We have thousands of local and county volunteer emergency response people available. There's so many trained personnel in Greensburg right now that they're tripping over each other--the other day there were traffic jams from all the utility crews showing up to help.

Screw Sebelius, that lying pandering weasel, for insulting Kansans. We take care of our own, and she should go back to where she came from--which wasn't here.

I went by to get pictures of the vehicles in the KNG lot and asked permission, which was promptly denied. I was told that if I was spotted taking pictures anyway, I would be arrested and questioned by federal officials. Something about photographing military posts in the post-9/11 era.

I wasn't the only one who tried. Someone else trying the same thing was also denied at another armory.

By eye I saw half a dozen HMMV-based "medic" vehicles, several trailer generators, several "regular" HMMV's, at least a dozen medium-to-heavy transport trucks, a water truck, several smaller equipment vehicles, and many trailers. The lot was near-full.

Not that you need a lot of rough-terrain vehicles to get into a town that straddles a US highway, or to get around that town when their neighbors cleared the streets well before any state or federal "rescue" people arrived--and kicked out the locals who had brought tons of heavy equipment to help clean up.

And here's an article about what some Greensburg residents had to say regarding Sebelius' pandering.
