Libs Miss *Subtle* Clues Left By Al Qaeda in Iraq

Today's liberal mantra:

I wish there was no Al Qaeda in Iraq...
I wish there was no Al Qaeda in Iraq...
I wish there was no Al Qaeda in Iraq.

Now- click your heels three times.

Democrats and liberal pundits are pi$$ed!
George Bush claimed that the US is fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq yesterday.
How dare he stoop to such cowardly fearmongering!

Today, the New York Times embarrasses itself again by writing a ridiculous piece about Al Qaeda in Iraq. It's sad that the NYT is forced to write an Al Qaeda apologistic rant in order to stick with their agenda.
And, of course, liberal pundits continue to play make believe.

** Maybe they should spend some time with the MNF-I forces who have killed or captured hundreds of Al Qaeda members in the past two months.
** Maybe they should have sought out one of the 4,000 Iraqis who were wounded or killed by Al Qaeda attacks (or talked to their family members) in the last 6 months.
** Maybe they should tell that to Al Zawahiri.
** Maybe they should review the Al Qaeda Top 20 Attacks on US soldiers in Iraq posted on YouTube.
** Maybe they should review the Al Qaeda in Iraq map!

...Sadly, they won't.

Or how about Al Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Hamza al-Muhajer stating that more than 4,000 al-Qaeda terrorists had been killed in Iraq last year alone?

Terror tape says 4,000 foreign fighters killed in Iraq

BAGHDAD, Iraq (CNN) -- A man identified as the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq said on an audiotape Thursday that more than 4,000 foreign fighters have died battling the U.S.-led coalition and Iraqi troops.

"We poured so much of our blood in Iraq," said the tape's speaker, purportedly new al Qaeda in Iraq chief Abu Hamza al-Muhajer.

CNN was unable to verify the speaker's identity. The tape, at 20 minutes, 31 seconds long, was posted on several Islamic Web sites Thursday.

The speaker urged other Muslims in Iraq to join the fight, saying he was launching a major military campaign.

"We are calling upon you to take your responsibilities because we are on crossroads, so don't fail us," the voice said, especially calling on Iraqi professionals such as chemists, physicists and nuclear experts to help.

Al-Muhajer, also known as Abu Ayyub al-Masri, is an Egyptian Islamic militant believed to be an expert in producing car bombs.

If this isn’t evil, then there is no evil.

If this isn’t worth fighting, then nothing is worth fighting.

I’m sure there will be plenty of folks who might not be entirely pleased with this on here, but…oh, well, I think it’s important.
———————————

regardless of your thinking about our involvement with Iraq, the reality is this kind of stuff is happening now, at’s not ok.

In the interest of full disclosure, this is yakkin’ I done yakked elsewhere, but guess I’d just like folks to know.

This is stuff by a guy named Michael Yon that you should know about. You won’t hear about it from the msm, that’s for sure. Who is Michael Yon? He’s a former U.S. Soldier journalist who reports things from Iraq you’re not going to know about otherwise.

FAIR WARNING: This article (Bless the Beasts and the Children) is about the discovery of an entire village executed in Iraq by Al Qaeda and has very graphic photos. It may not be appropriate for work or kids.

Michael Yon discusses Bless The Beasts, and the Children Live From Baqubah
http://WWW.punditreview.Com/2007/07/08/Michael-yon-discusses-bless-the-beasts-and-the-children-live-from-baquaba/

More on this stuff from Yon (do read the links).
http://WWW.michaelyon-online.Com/wp/second-chances.htm

Michael Yon gets out “where the rubber meets the road.” Yon tells it like it is, and there are people who just hate him ’cause he’s not playing along with their program. When folks say things to the effect that the reason you don’t see things like the massacre in Iraq Yon recently, literally, uncovered reported is because they are “generally unsubstantiated” or some such. Uh…yeah. In the particular case recently of Iraqi and American units discovering an entire village near Baqubah that had been killed off, Yon took pictures of the Iraqi Army grimly unearthing the bodies in a progressive documentation. How much more substantive could it get? It seems pretty unlikely Karl Rove went over there and set it all up, dunnit? BTW - Michael Yon has offered every last tidbit of info he has collected on these atrocities to any media that wants it with no takers.

This is the link to Yon’s book “Danger Close” on amazon.Com
http://WWW.amazon.ca/gp/product/customer-reviews/0967512328/ref=cm_cr_dp_2_1/702-5312989-9435267?i.e.=UTF8&customer-reviews.sort_by=-SubmissionDate&n=916520

Why izzit titled “Danger Close?”
“In close air support, artillery, mortar, and naval gunfire supporting fires, danger close is the term included in a call for fire to the shooter which indicates that friendly forces are within close proximity of the target. The close proximity distance is determined by the weapon and munition fired.”
