Humble Performers Urge Earthlings to Sacrifice for Planet.
Live Earth is today...

At home, Enrique lives a life of sacrifice.

At home, Dicaprio tries to survive on the bare essentials.
Gore's own inconvenient truth is that his home consumes more electricity every month than the average American household uses in an entire year.

At home, Snoop Dogg enjoys his own illegal carbon burning ritual.
Michelle Malkin is tracking the Green Circus today.
Via Glenn Reynolds and Pajamas Media... "The Live Earth concerts could end up generating more carbon dioxide than was produced by all of Afghanistan in 2006."
It sure is nice that concert organizers could headline at least one concert with a Death-For-Rushdie activist.
AllahPundit has the sweaty Gore pic.
It looks like the global event was a bust.

More... A giant plastic cup snake.
Update: The Live Earth concert in South Africa blamed low turnout on unseasonably cold temperatures.

Now, c'mon, the last one really isn't fair. Burning a fatty has a negligible effect on the environment. Leave Mr. Dogg out of your gallery of rogues.
I have to agree with Schorsch. Besides, it was organic herb, free from pesticides and it shows he supports poor farmers in the third world.
He supports poor farmers in Northern Ca!
I imagine Mr. Dogg is a reasonably wealthy man and therefore would only be consuming the best. That means B.C. bud from one of our famous gro-ops run by those poor farmers when they're not driving around in their Cadillacs."Burning a fatty" of good Canadian weed organic or not will put you on your ass pretty quick. c.j.g. of eroticalee
Let us not overlook the fact that Mr. Dogg has a house similar to those of the others mentioned. So he is a twofer. What blatant hypocrisy, by all of them. But what a good market for the phony green tickets.
I'm sure on a clear day Mr. Dogg would argue that more carbon is subtracted from the atmosphere by the "stems, twigs and seeds" than released by the buds he tokes.
What I wanna know is: where was Mrs. Tipper "PMRC" Gore when these bills were being put together? Aren't many of the featured acts exactly what she was warning everyone were destroying our childrens' minds?
These celebrities are only associating with the global warming fad, oops I mean climate change CRISIS!, because they think it will enhance their images. They aim to personally gain from it and they think the public is stupid enough to fall for it.
Sadly, there's a whole bunch of leftist political "progressives" who will.
The rest of us, though, not so much. We see these hypocrites for what they are.
Maybe you should do your resarch before you post a blog like this. Otherwise you end up looking like a giant idiot! That is NOT Enrique Iglesias' house in that picture you posted. That is the house THE PRESS erroneously claims is his house, because the press is too ignorant to check their facts. Enrique lives in a small modest 3 bedroom house in Miami. Check your facts before you spout off, you fool!
the whole live earth thing is B.S. al gore drives a huge car that uses a lot of pollution and he says that he wants to stop pollution. all these celebrities drive big cars and smoke weed..well that calls out polluition. AL GORE IS A FAGGG & all the celebs who performed there
Great post! The hypocrisy is so telling.
