UK PM Brown Bans Using Word "Muslim" with "Terrorism"
The verdict may still be out on Great Britain's Prime Minister Gordon Brown, but this was not a very promising sign.
The Daily Express and ROP reported:
Gordon Brown has banned ministers from using the word “Muslim” in connection with the terrorism crisis.The first step in problem solving is "defining the problem." Sadly, Mr. Brown has failed this fundamental step to a solution.
The Prime Minister has also instructed his team – including new Home Secretary Jacqui Smith – that the phrase “war on terror” is to be dropped.
The shake-up is part of a fresh attempt to improve community relations and avoid offending Muslims, adopting a more “consensual” tone than existed under Tony Blair.
However, the change provoked claims last night that ministers are indulging in yet more political correctness.
The sudden shift in tone emerged in comments by Mr Brown and Ms Smith in the wake of the failed attacks in London and Glasgow.
Mr Brown’s spokesman acknowledged yesterday that ministers had been given specific guidelines to avoid inflammatory language.

They are the same who killed tens of thousands of Egyptians and perhaps as many as a quarter-million Algerians over the decades. They are motivated not by any religious grievance but by an insatiable appetite for political power. They want to seize control of societies, break them into submission and impose on every individual a mad tyranny of terror in the name of God.
If Islam is the religion of peace, then the real Islamphobes are those who planted the car bombs in London and Glasgow - not
the poor Brits who are censoring themselves and curbing their hard-won freedoms in order not to offend "the Muslim community."]

With British confidence in their leaders at a low ebb, new Prime Minister Gordon Brown assumed office last week pledging to undertake measures designed to restore public trust in the government. Following through on his promise, Brown presented a new plan Tuesday that would dramatically revise the Constitutional powers of the British government, with an eye to strengthening the checks and balances.
In his first statement to the House of Commons since assuming power last week, Brown said he would surrender to Parliament 12 powers traditionally reserved for the prime minister under the "Royal prerogative," including the power to declare war, along with the power to dissolve the House, and the right to appoint judges and bishops.
"I now propose to surrender or limit these powers to make for a more open 21st century British democracy which better serves the British people," he told MPs, to loud Labour cheers.
OMG!
So what, this Brown guy acknowledges 'people' are trying to blow up airports and nightclubs, but can't acknowledge 'who' are doing it. Even Muslims acknowledge that the terrorists are Muslims; Muslims just to prefer to call them Muslim or Islamic extremists. Gordon Brown is an ass kisser, who will in the end have his ass kicked - straight out of parliament, if the British can ever get a hold of their manhood again.
