"It’s time to replace an 'on your own' society with one based on 'shared responsibility and prosperity.'"
Hillary Clinton

"The same with energy. You know, we can’t keep talking about our dependence on foreign oil and the need to deal with global warming and the challenge that it poses to our climate and to God’s creation and just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people."
Hillary Clinton

"I want to take those profits. And I want to put them into a strategic energy fund..."

Although this went mostly unnoticed, one of the most shocking exchanges of this campaign season occurred yesterday.
Socialist candidate Hillary Clinton jumped all over a questioner at the National Association of Black Journalists Convention yesterday when he dared to ask Hillary about her plans to socialize medicine.
Hillary blasts the socialized medicine critic in the audience:
** Say Anything captured the whole exchange and adds this:
The health care system Hillary Clinton and her fellow Democrats support consists of taking wealth from everyone (or, more accurately, the top 50% of wage-earners who pay all the taxes) and redistributing it to everyone in the form of medical care. Wealth redistribution, put simply. And what is socialism if not wealth redistribution? The man obviously struck a vein when he slapped the Socialist label on Mrs. Clinton.
That Hillary and her fellow populist commissar-wannabes find this label inconvenient for their political agendas is neither here nor there.
Hillary can try to paint that pig any color she wants- it's still pig and she's still a socialist.
Rob Port has much more.
My gosh! What a pathological liar the hildabeast is...
ReplyDeleteThen again the hildabeast does have a long & asinine track record as a liar ...
The hildabeast of course plays the race card when it comes to pushing socialized medicine...
Since when was medicare/medicaid NOT socialized medicine at its worst?
BTW many doctors are against medicare ...
I often wonder why I never see the figures for the number of Americans who ARE privately insured. We have heard the 40 million without coverage for 15 years. With a current population of 300 million, that means that 260 millions are covered by insurance. Why has noone seen fit to ask, "Why should we take away from 260 million, for the sake of 40? Certainly some % of that 40 million include the unemployed, and welfare cases. How many of them are covered by Medicaid or other State social programs?
ReplyDeleteWhy take away peoples freedom in one of the most important sectors of the economy, bankrupt thousands of the the most innovative companys in that sector, sieze the assets of millions of people who have invested their hard-earned money in such companies, for the sake of 12% of the population who have no healthcare insurance? (Although they do have access to healthCARE) Isn't there some superior plan which would retain for the vast majority of us the freedom to choose our own care?
She needs to be pounded with the socialist label at every turn. In fact she's a communist without the gulags--at least at this point.
ReplyDeleteHer early attempt at health care had doctors going to prison if they violated some of the provisions of the act. As your qoutes show, and they are only from 2007, she and her crowd have some major plans in store. With her new handle as a "progressive" I would not be surprised if her grand design isn't called the "New Deal II" in honor of her channeling partner Mrs. Roosevelt.
What all these "waaah-40 million don't have health insurance" tend to never mention is that health care for the poor is taken care of on the county, state and local level along with federal. That, in many cases, those who do not have insurance do not have it because they fail to apply with the city/county/state.
ReplyDeleteThey also never mention the fact that probably 1/3 of those "poor uninsured Americans" are not citizens and do not belong in this country in the first place.
That being said, here is yet another horror story brought to you by the wonders of nationalized health care.
Girl dies of brain tumour after doctor tells her \'headaches are caused by stress\'
This is all very Orwellian. Its like how trotsky changed the definition of "fascism" away from socialism to something resembling free-market capitalism - all because the socialists didn't want to be associated with mussolini anymore, and the word "fascist" left a bad taste in people's mouths.
ReplyDeleteEvery time Hillary talks on this issue, more and more people are uninsured. For a while it was 10 million, then 30 million. Just last week she said 40 million. Now she says 45 million. Anyone know the right number?
ReplyDeletePatm asks: "For a while it was 10 million, then 30 million. Just last week she said 40 million. Now she says 45 million"...
ReplyDeleteConsider looking at the following video clip: Uninsured in America ...
According to this video clip only 8 million aren't insured or able to receive medical care...
BTW this video came from the same folks that brought us Indoctrinate U, On The Fence Films
My favorite line is when she claims the government pays the medicare bills.
ReplyDeleteThen what is this deduction from my paycheck for medicare if the government pays for it???
As her hubby famously asked, "But what if you spend your money wrong?"
