Arellano was arrested in Los Angeles after she left her Chicago church sanctuary to attend an immigrant/amnesty protest.
This was written by pesosforcongress at YouTube:
Arellano illegally entered the U.S. to deliver her son. The two subsequently received thousands of dollars worth of free medical costs, housing and food--thanks to the U.S. tax payer.92% of participants in a Chicago Tribune poll believe that Elvira Arellano should have been arrrested.
Arellano then committed multiple felonies including identity theft, illegal immigration, and failure to appear in court. Crimes for which an American would serve year-long sentences.
But as a special class, Arellano was able to avoid prosecution--while receiving free legal assistance.
For the past year, Arellano has made a complete mockery of our government and laws by refusing to return to Mexico. Instead, Arellano has threatened to abandon her son in the U.S., as a ploy to avoid prosecution.
A nation that cannot control its borders or enforce its laws, cannot survive as a nation. Case in point, Elvira Arellano and the ethno-centrist, open borders advocates.
Michelle Malkin is following the story.
Elvira Arellano does not belong here anyway and on top of that she broke the law, that's way she is classified an "illegal". The federal gov't did the right thing, and for doin g the right thing the liberal media is using this story as a method to attain sympathizers to blaze the gov't.
ReplyDelete"Arellano, 32, has become a symbol of the struggles of illegal immigrant parents and a source of controversy. " (Fox News)
RIDICULOUS! A struggle of what? a travesty of justice?
Thanks for telling it how it is!
I noted how the usual suspects in the MSM lied to their consumers by calling this criminal an, Immigration Activist ...
ReplyDeleteI have to wonder if Dan Rather & Bill Burkett aren't still writting copy for the MSM...
I'd like to here about 10,000 of these stories a day for the next few years.
ReplyDeleteoops!
ReplyDeletehere=hear pimf
She has already entered the United States illegally twice before. She used a fake social security number to obtain employment at an airport. She had access to secured areas.
ReplyDeleteIt's just a matter of time before she thumbs her nose at U. S. law again.
I understand she doesn't belong here, but don't hate so much she been hunted like if she is a dangerous person, the only thing she did is come to this country, to give her child a better life, we as a mother will do anything for our kids, I know she did wrong in using a fake social security but she did to work, cause she couldn't get a good job been Illegal, whoever talk bad about her is because never had to suffer of hunger, having nothing to eat in the table, and sometimes in other countries are no jobs available.thats the main reason they come to this country to get a better life.. but not all foreign do bad things, don't judge them wrong.. we all human being. and god love us no matter what color or race we are......
ReplyDeleteSo, Aliyah, if I'm trying to better my life for my kids, it's okay if I break the law when to suits me? Every good parent wants a better life for their child. There's something called "personal responsibility." If Arellano couldn't raise a child without violating the law, she shouldn't have had one.
ReplyDeleteIllegal immigrants - criminals - do not belong here. If she wants to respect our laws and come into this country the way she was supposed to, she'd be enjoying the benefits and opportunities of America without harassment.
My mother is a *legal* immigrant. She did everything the law required. It isn't fair that people like Arellano think it's okay to walk over people and force her way to the front of the line.
Hey Aliyah,
ReplyDeleteThen what she should do is protest the corruption in her OWN country so she doesn't have to break laws in ours.
Aliyah,
ReplyDeleteHow do you know she was hungry and poor in Mexico? There is a thriving middle class there--I know many of them--so why not make a better life for your child somewhere without breaking another nation's laws, stealing a citizen's identity, and taking welfare?
Just try to sneak into and work in Mexico!
The problem is the narco-state kleptocracy Mexico has become, as NAFTA simply boosted this leper colony into non-failed-state status automatically.
ReplyDeleteLooks like Julie Myers finally grew a set & enforced the nation's laws.
Elvira Arellano Deported... a sad and shameful ending. Bitter sweet but seriously what do you do. Here we have a fine young single mother with a little child who comes into America illegally, then continues to break laws which are Felony’s of America by using someone’s else’s S.S. # in which any normal US citizen would be arrested and thrown into prison for such a crime especially after 911 and to add fuel to the fire, these witch hunters who track down the illegal felons who come into America putting strain and burden for the shoulders of countless US citizens to pick up the tab for insurance, medical, education, gangs, jails, drug’s, drunks and 100’s of other things not mentioned that add to the problem. Freedom and Free choice is what all Americans have and is also what most counties want. Interesting concept Freedom it’s a shame that the people of Mexico do not raise to the occasion and take over there very corrupted government with there own blood and mirror what we have here in America, I mean if I recall America has had wars to protect there freedom, men and women and children gave there lives for us. Freedom costs, it costs a lot to be able to stand up and make a change, I mean seriously they are coming here to America for a better opportunity. Lets take free choice for example. I doubt anyone put a gun to poor Elvira Arellano head when she made a choice to come here illegally? And what would her Mexican government do if someone was coming in there country from the north illegally, I think if I recall they DEPORT them or throw them in JAIL. And what about Elvira husband or the man who impregnated her, where is he? She gave free choice to him to have un-material sex and the out come of sex is usually babies. These are the one’s who get hurt the most. The poor innocent children who will pay the biggest price for such selfishness by the adults, it happens all to much in this society today, and if you continue to allow people to come to America with out enforcing the laws that protect Americans not illegal Aliens then you end up with something that looks just like Mexico, then it becomes corrupted. The answer is, if you are here illegally, then you need to either accept the fact that if you get caught you will be deported regardless of your situation or you can go to the BACK of the LINE and do what you are supposed to do and come in LEGUALY.
ReplyDeleteJust a thought of a American “WHO’S FATHER, TWO UNCLES AND GREAT GRAND FATHER GAVE THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT AMERICANS AND OUR FREEDOM
Elvira should leave country with her son. She simply abandons her own kid and blame on U.S. gov. what a champ! She is using her own son to attract attention and getting sympathies. We have law to follow. ICE is doing their job to arrest her and send her back to her own country. She is the one who break the law when she stepped into U.S. ILLEGALLY. If every illegal immigrant sneak in and lay a kid in our soil, we still have to pay our tax $$ for them. Sad enough. Illegal immigrants are illegal. No exception. She knows this well when she is using fake social security!!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, church is not a sanctuary for criminals. ICE should penalize those who try to interfere with the law. Bad enough that Elvira using a holy place for her own greed.
"Arellano illegally entered the U.S. to deliver her son."
ReplyDeleteactually Elvira Arellano lived her more than 2years before having her son. He was born in 1999.
"The two subsequently received thousands of dollars worth of free medical costs, housing and food--thanks to the U.S. tax payer."
I have read nothing about welfare or food stamps in their case infact she was caught because she was working in the airport.
"Arellano then committed multiple felonies including identity theft, illegal immigration, and failure to appear in court. Crimes for which an American would serve year-long sentences."
In fact she did committ these crimes. identity theft- she got a false SS# so she could work. she DID NOT get fake credit cards and mess up a living persons life. She created and ID around a dead person so that she could get a job. She did not appear for a court date several infact but instead hid in a church and claimed sanctuary.
"Arellano has threatened to abandon her son in the U.S., as a ploy to avoid prosecution. "
Actually her son is a US citizen. and can not be forcefully deported and that is the real question in the case. Should US citizens be deported with their parents until they reach 18? Should parents be allowed to stay here until they reach 18?
This is a news story because what does the US do about families being separated?
other facts of the case
" Her grandfather was a guest worker in the bracero program, a system which brought “temporary” Mexican workers into the U.S. to do agricultural labor from 1942 to 1964."
" economic conditions in Michoacan and throughout Mexico are driving immigration out of the country. “In my town, the principle base of the economy is farming,” she said. “My father is a farmer, and disgracefully, the free trade agreement has hurt them. They can’t compete with the grains and corn that the United States exports into my country. It’s sad, but they have no resources with which to keep working on the land and produce"
American business and government are helping put farmers and grower out of business and then wonder why people are coming here.
first how do we continue to do business while keeping jobs in this country and letting mexicans(and others earn a living in there country?)
second if a child is a us citizen are they deported with their parent until the age of 18?
The US government has drafted US citizens living abroad during war. Do we throw him out but call him back to serve his country?
Us citizens that live abroad also pay federal tax do we tax him when he is taxable even if he was forced to leave?
or do we let him stay? do we let his mother stay?
does that cause a larger problem with immigration?
Do we go against global policy and say that being born in this country does not give you citzenship?
these are just some of the questions that Arellano's case brings up. She broke the law yes. she doesn't belong her yes. but the policy regarding illegals and their citizen children need to be looked at and decided.
would your 8,10,15 year old fair well in a mexican school system? in a country where there is a 40% unemployment rate? where the min wage is $4 a DAY? should we force citizens to grow up that way? Then ask them to do their duty as a citizen by applying for selective service, paying taxes? how do they become productive members of the US if they come back when they are 18?
All things we have to look at when we discuss this case and future cases.

No one forced her son to leave, it was her choice to leave him here. She had a child knowing that she risked deportation, again her Choice.

There is no "Global Policy" that can overrule a sovereign Nation! Countries have immigration laws and if you break those laws you are sent back to your country of origin.
This is a news story because what does the US do about families being separated?
People have free choice, she made a bad decision and now she must live with the consequences, just like any who break our laws and involve their children in their offense. Children are always the ones who suffer from their parents poor decisions...
What's so hard to understand about ILLEGAL? The woman was not here legally AND she's a multiple felon. Mexico wouldn't tolerate an American staying in their country under the like conditions.
ReplyDeleteIt's tiring to struggle & struggle to maintain any quality of life knowing that our tax dollars are being spent to supply more medical care to indigents when many legal U.S. citizens working minimum-wage jobs can't get help, support, medical and/or dental care. We need to take better care of the poor Americans, let Mr. Fox and the Mexican government try to care for their own people instead of demanding that we do it for them.
>>she got a false SS# so she could work. she DID NOT get fake credit cards and mess up a living persons life. She created and ID around a dead person so that she could get a job.<<
ReplyDeleteOk, explain how this makes any difference? This is like saying, "Yes, she stole that lady's purse but it's OK because she didn't take the credit cards, and the lady was already dead. And she needed the purse to look good for a job interview." WTF? It is a crime, and actually in this age of terrorism, a very serious one for which she is now inelligible for legal immigrant status.
Now as to the whole plight of the mexican farm worker, and how we should consider the ill effects of NAFTA and, I guess, be more lenient to illegal immigrants. Like every other country on the planet we have an immigration policy that applies to ALL foreign countries. Many, many countries have much worse conditions than Mexico (like most countries in Africa). Based on the above logic we should just swing open the borders and let anyone in, at anytime without going through proper steps because life is so rough where they live.
Obviously that would be ridiculous. I don't know if the bleeding hearts are aware, but we actually have a Constitutional right to protection from foreign invaders, which is what anyone entering our country illegally is. I have no idea how Mexico somehow elevated itself above every other country on the planet when it comes to following immigration law, but it is high time that we, the people of the U.S.A. demanded our Constitutional right to protection at the borders.
What a piss poor performance by the immigration service!
ReplyDeleteIf the deportation was handled this way for Elvira and her bastard child a real message would've been sent to the rest of the law breaking invaders...
It can't be just mere coincidence that cities with sanctuary laws or attitudes have a problem with MS-13 , can it?
It's about friggin time!!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are avenues to becomming a legal citizen. This (insert profanity here) made a complete mockery of our entire system. I wish that someone would slap that church she was hiding in like a coward with aiding and abetting of a known felon. Gee, and we wonder why nobody donates to churches anymore. I pay enough in tax $$ to support this crap!
yes my comment is about Elvira Arellano's deportation. I agree with everyone that we are in a country of laws,if we break the law like Elvira did, we have to pay the consecuenses, she should not be talking about U.S. abusing her that is totally incorrect. In the other hand, I have to ask the U. s.Department of Immigration, Why it is only the Mexicans who are deported., I never hear that the Emigration department is harrassing a Filipino, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, Pakistan,Arab or any other illigaal allian. can any of you comment about this. thanks.
