Georgia Mayor Praises Marxist Chavez- Will Visit Caracas

Macon, Georgia democratic Mayor Jack Ellis praised Marxist Hugo Chavez and invited the anti-American leader to his home state.
WMAZ has video of Ellis, HERE.

Here- Chavez and another useful American idiot, Sean Penn, ride through Venezuela and praise Marxist killer Che Guevara.

Jack Ellis, the democratic mayor of Macon, GA, sent greetings to Hugo Chavez with the message that local leaders can stand together despite disagreements at the highest level of government. Ellis, of course, is a local leader and Chavez, of course, is an international leader. What Ellis wrote to Chavez is stupid on several fronts.
WISTV and ROP reported:

Some Macon residents have called for demonstrations and boycotts after the mayor of the middle Georgia city formally reached out to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez with a declaration of solidarity.

Mayor Jack Ellis said the declaration -- sent about two weeks ago by courier -- was a message that local leaders can stand together despite disagreements at the highest reaches of government.

Some local leaders have blasted the mayor's decision to support Chavez -- who is a vocal ally of Iran and Cuba who has called President Bush "the devil."

Ellis praised the controversial leader as a champion for the common man who could offer aid to Macon's residents...

Ellis, a Democrat, is serving his second term as mayor and cannot seek re-election because of term limits.

He announced in February that he had converted from Christianity to Islam and was working to legally change his name to Hakim Mansour Ellis. He said he became a Sunni Muslim during a December ceremony in the west African nation of Senegal.
Ellis also confirmed that he will soon visit Chavez in Venezuela.

    thank GP..

after reading the comment by Erasmus @ The Real Che Guevara

i'm more convinced than ever that what the fascist left are aiming for is to "equate" good with evil.. that's the only way they can appease their conscience in face of the harsh reality they are trying to escape from because it does not fit in with their ideological utopian matrix.. if there is no good vs evil, then all is good even if all is evil.. :(

GOOD!! He can freaking stay there! Good for Georgia that this guy is prohibited from running again because of term limits! We should put them on our Congress as well. Some of the loudest complaints about lifetime appointments to the Supreme Court are lifetime appointments themselves. For pete's sake, Teddy has been in the Senate for 44 years!! No wonder they feel like they are supposed to run the country. They think they're entitled! Arrogance knows no bounds with these people.

  4. Will the Democratic Party ever lose its infatuation with communist thugs?

  5. Remember all the "what would Jesus do?" signs? How about a "what would FDR and Truman do" sign. I can tell you. They would treat this slug just like any other traitor. Allow them to leave the country then refuse them readmittance.

When are we going to start prosecuting these clowns?

A Recall would be most appropriate.

They just can't seem to reconcile the facts with their leftist views. In every leftist / pro-communist regieme the "common man" has risked everything, including life and limb, in attempting a journey to where??? Why the conservative democracies those on the left seem to so revile, of course.
