Oliver Stone Renews Movie Offer to Ahmadinejad

“Stone’s publicist referred to the bad image that the U.S. media has given to Islam and Islamic countries and said that the documentary could assist in countering such negative propaganda,” Iranian producer and filmmaker Alireza Sajjadpur explained at Mehr News.

Film director Oliver Stone is not taking "no" for an answer!

Director Stone reaches out again to genocide-promoter Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

The US director has renewed his offer to the genocide-promoting Iranian president to do a documentary on his life.
Fars News reported:

The renowned American filmmaker, Oliver Stone, once again asked Tehran to allow him to make a documentary film about Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Stone's manager Mrs. Michelle Michelson sent the first request to Ahmadinejad's office on January 13, and the artistic advisor of the president, Javad Shamaghdari, asked him to send a written request, and Stone subsequently sent his request in an E-Mail.

But after several interviews by Shamaghdari and the negative positions taken by some Iranian political circles and figures, Stone denied such a request.

A little later Michelson renewed the request and underlined Stone's deep enthusiasm for producing a documentary about Ahmadinejad, saying that such a move is in line with dialogue and cultural exchanges between the two Iranian and American nations.

The Iranian presidential office has not yet responded to Stone's second request.
If Ahmadinejad is smart, he won't pass up the great propaganda opportunity this time.

  2. BTW bg don't even think of asking Condell about religion, he's seriously negative on the whole concept ...:-)

  3. Regardless if he is negative on whole concept of religion this video on Islam in Europe is spot on.

It is also indicative of what I have been seeing and hearing out of European friends. Those who can leave are looking to get out, including ones who would have never considered leaving 10 years ago. Those who aren't are just about to the Popeye point with both the Islamists and the LLL's who run their governments.

The governments of Europe better start listening to their people unless they want to suffer the same fate the Islamists will. Unfortunately European governments consist of elitist LLL's who think that they are much more intelligent then the "great unwashed masses" and routinely ignore the people because they know best what should be done "for the common good".

We have the same thing here in the likes of the of Hillary Clinton and the Democratic party as a whole.

    i agree with you Nahanni..

albiet relating to America, this heroic American Muslim explains the Islamists agenda well, and can be applied to any Country..

    excerpts:

[The Establishment Clause of our Constitution and the pluralism upon which our nation is based carries with it principles which should always be remembered. Our freedom to practice our personal faith should never be denied. And the courts have repeatedly endorsed this as a right guaranteed by our First Amendment rights to free speech and religious practice.

However, once that right begins to impose a cost, whether financial or experiential, upon another citizen, that right ends. For with that cost, it becomes an imposition---a coercive force. A political force—in this case, Islamism.]

[There is no greater laboratory of religious liberty and freedom than in the United States. Most of our parents escaped our motherlands in order to practice our personal spirituality more freely here than in so-called Muslim lands. They did not come to exploit and impose. American freedoms and openness to accommodate will be exploited by Islamists seeking a Muslim body politic. This will all continue as long as other non-Islamist and anti-Islamist Muslims stay silent to the exploitation of Islam for the Islamist political agenda.]

lots more from Dr. M. Zudhi Jasser here..

  5. I thing it would be better if Oliver Stone would do a documentary about how back in the 1950's the United States overthrew the democratically elected government of Iran and put in its place the puppet Shah. Here is a review of the book All The Shah’s Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror By Stephen Kinzer at http://www.law.harvard.edu/students/orgs/hrj/iss17/booknotes-All.shtml

  6. Hey Randall, are you refering to this America hating bastard and New York Times reporter ?

Hmmm, I'm guessing you've never considered the word, "credibility" and how it doesn't apply to the likes of the New York Times or Kinzer, right?

Hmmm, let's think back to the days of the Cold War...

Was it wiser for the west to support Mossadegh who was garnering support from the Tudeh Party or go with the Shah?

Then again a movie by Oliver Stone, a known Fidel groupie will always lend credibility to anything the way the New York Times does...LOL!

Does anyone think Oliver Stone is aware that most aspects of his lifestyle call for a violent application (beheading or stoning) of the death penalty in Iran?

I wonder why that doesn't concern him at all?

hey Oliver, don't forget the 'luv' scenes!!

    Why Haven't We Seen This?

    excerpt:

    [October 29, 2005

We are in the process of an historical war between the World of Arrogance [i.e. the West] and the Islamic world, and this war has been going on for hundreds of years. ...

The issue of this [World without Zionism] conference is very valuable. In this very grave war, many people are trying to scatter grains of desperation and hopelessness regarding the struggle between the Islamic world and the front of the infidels ...

Is it possible for us to witness a world without America and Zionism? But you had best know that this slogan and this goal are attainable, and surely can be achieved...

So how would the Iranian regime achieve this?

You only need to listen to Ahmadinejad's chief strategic guru Hassan Abbassi, for the answer. Abbassi is the architect of the so-called "war preparation plan" currently under way in Iran. This is the same Hassan Abbassi who said:

[We have a strategy drawn up for the destruction of Anglo-Saxon civilization... we must make use of everything we have at hand to strike at this front by means of our suicide operations or by means of our missiles. There are 29 sensitive sites in the U.S. and in the West. We have already spied on these sites and we know how we are going to attack them.]

Abbasi believes that when President Bush says that no option is off the table he is only playing chicken. According to respected Iranian analyst, Amir Taheri, Abbassi has said:

The Americans are not ready to send a million men (to defeat the Islamic Republic)," Abbasi said. "Even economic sanctions against the Islamic Republic will fail thanks to opposition from the Western public opinion and the refusal of most countries to implement (them).

But it is not only the US that Abbasi wants to take on and humiliate. He has described Britain as "the mother of all evils". In his lecture he claimed that the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and the Gulf states were all "children of the same mother: the British Empire." As for France and Germany, they are "countries in terminal decline", according to Abbasi.

"Once we have defeated the Anglo-Saxons the rest will run for cover," he told his audience.

So it appears that in the short term, the regime is hoping to start a limited war with the USA that it believes it can survive, since they don't believe that the West has the will nor the means to occupy Iran at this time. This will buy them time for their longer term strategic plans for the world. Why is no taking these threats seriously?

The vast majority of the people of Iran do not share his views and long for real democracy in Iran. How long will we wait to support the people of Iran in their struggle to free themselves from these dangerous mad men?]

WHO IS AHMADINEJAD AND WHAT HE IS UP TO?

    excerpt:

[He is viscerally anti Jew, anti West…This is rooted in his education, his fascination for Hasan al Bana, Gamal Abdol Naser and third worldism, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood, the late Egyptian leader and the movement that once was the flag ship of developing nations… and above all his total and fanatic belief in Shi’a doctrine”, said an Iranian journalist who knew Mr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad from the time he was Mayor of Tehran, commenting the islamo-populist Iranian President who, in less than four months destroyed all the credits – and respect -- his predecessor, Mohammad Khatami, a charismatic cleric, had obtained painfully for Iran during the eight years he was in office October.]

  13. bg,
The article about Alex Jones’s film “Terror Storm” only tackled what he said about 7/7, but said nothing about the beginning of the film which talks about the U.S. false flag operations in various countries. If you are concerned about the accuracy in the 7/7 investigation here is a website that has some good information. http://www.julyseventh.co.uk/

I am not a Michael Moore fan; I am a fan of the makers of the film Loose Change. You can see the film for free at google video http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7866929448192753501

Oh by the way are you aware that the FBI’s webpage on Osama Ben Laden http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/terrorists/terbinladen.htm does not mention 9/11?

Why wouldn’t an attack which killed 3,000 people be specifically mentioned?
    Journalist Ed Haas’ investigated this,

On June 5, 2006, the Muckraker Report contacted the FBI Headquarters, (202) 324-3000, to learn why Bin Laden’s Most Wanted poster did not indicate that Usama was also wanted in connection with 9/11. The Muckraker Report spoke with Rex Tomb, Chief of Investigative Publicity for the FBI. When asked why there is no mention of 9/11 on Bin Laden’s Most Wanted web page, Tomb said, “The reason why 9/11 is not mentioned on Usama Bin Laden’s Most Wanted page is because the FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden to 9/11.”

    September 11, 2001 attacks

    excerpt:

[Shortly before the U.S. presidential election in 2004, in a taped statement, bin Laden publicly acknowledged al-Qaeda's involvement in the attacks on the U.S, and admitted his direct link to the attacks. He said that the attacks were carried out because, "We are a free people who do not accept injustice, and we want to regain the freedom of our nation."

In a videotape aired on Al Jazeera, on October 30, 2004, bin Laden said he had personally directed the 19 hijackers.[79] Another video obtained by Al Jazeera in September 2006 shows Osama bin Laden with Ramzi Binalshibh, as well as two hijackers, Hamza al-Ghamdi and Wail al-Shehri, as they make preparations for the attacks.[80]]

Regarding the link you put up about "Quotes and Facts on Iraq," how come it leaves out the speech from Republican Texas Congressman Ron Paul in the US House of Representatives? See http://www.lewrockwell.com/paul/paul58.html

He mentions how the United States supplied Saddam Hussein with chemical weapons, knowing full what he would do with them.

Regarding your graphic videos, I did not look at them, but I don’t doubt Saddam Hussein was a brutal torturer and murder. But then can you explain why the United States helped Saddam Hussein into power and supported him, financially and strategically, him when he was committing his worst atrocities? See http://www.hartford-hwp.com/archives/51/217.html
And check out this film by Barry Lando (former 60 minutes producer) it’s "Saddam Hussein - The Trial you will never see" at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeY05iS5iv0

    Earth to RandallJones..

numerous nations sold precursor materials to Iraq (ie: France, Russia, Germany & Spain).. also believe the US ceased selling anything of that nature to Iraq in 1989.. besides that, the US was on the lower end of the totem poll when it came to supplying Saddam with biological or chemical materials..

    this is just a sample..

The Netherlands and the chemical weapons of Iraq

btw.. there is a HUGE difference between supplying materials and literally selling weapons of mass destruction..

ps: you're a one at a time TREE GAZER.. every time one of your 'out of context' nonsense gets rebutted, you conveniently switch TREES.. duh!!

  17. Are you people actually quoting/praising Pat Condell? In the video posted here, he claims that "we [Europe] had religious violence, too -- it was called the Inquisition, but then we became more civilized."

So, question for all you Iran haters...exactly which part of post-Inquisition Western history was so civilized?

    - The transatlntic slave trade?
    - The mass murder and thievery of worldwide colonialism?
    - The wholsesale slaughter of Native Americans?
    - The Holocaust?
    - The use of nuclear weapons on cities full of civilian?
    - The propping up of vicious dictators (like the Shah?) that served western interests?
    - The contamination of much of the world's clean air/water/soil?
    - The career of Paris Hilton?

Great track record...it's such a wonder that the rest of the world isn't hopping to do whatever the hell Britain/the US/Germany says to do...

well i could, but i'm not going to bother educating you on all your straw man talking points, but i will tackle this with ease..

disclaimer: i am not saying what Arabs/Muslims created negates any others participation.. however: the Slave Trade, like many other things Arabs/Muslims lay claim to with pride, not only sprung from the origins of Arab/Muslim culture, but sad to say, still exists to this very day.. ie:

    Slave Trade Thrives in Sudan

    Arab slave trade

    excerpts:

[Instances of Arab prejudice regarding Negroid peoples and slaves

"...the Negro nations are, as a rule, submissive to slavery, because (Negroes) have little that is (essentially) human and possess attributes that are quite similar to those of dumb animals..."

However, Ibn Khaldun also wrote of the Arabs themselves:

:"they are the most savage human beings that exist. Compared with sedentary people, they are on a level with wild, untamable animals and dumb beasts of prey ... Arabs dominate only on the plains, because they are, by their savage nature, people of pillage and corruption. They pillage everything that they can take without fighting or taking risks, then flee to their refuge in the wilderness, and do not stand and do battle unless in self defence."]

In addition, there is debate over his ethnicity, some refer to him as Andalusian/Spanish (he grew up there, his parents were from there), some say he was a Berber/North African (time spent in Tunis, ancestry), and some say he was an arab (he traced ancestors to Yemen).

    Main article: Ibn Khaldun

In the same period, the Egyptian Al-Abshibi (1388-1446) wrote, "It is said that when the [black] slave is sated, he fornicates, when he is hungry, he steals."]

    [Slave markets and fairs

Enslaved Africans were sold in the towns of the Muslim world. In 1416, al-Makrisi told how pilgrims coming from Takrur (near the Senegal river) had brought 1700 slaves with them to Mecca. In North Africa, the main slave markets were in Morocco, Algiers, Tripoli and Cairo. Sales were held in public places or in souks. Potential buyers made a careful examination of the "merchandise": they checked the state of health of a person who was often standing naked with wrists bound together. In Cairo, transactions involving eunuchs and concubines happened in private houses. Prices varied according to the slave's quality]

    History of slavery

    excerpt:

[The history of slavery covers many different forms of human exploitation across many cultures and throughout human history. Slavery, generally defined, refers to the systematic exploitation of labor for work and services without consent and/or the possession of other persons as property. There is no clear timeline for the formation of slavery in any formalized sense. Slavery can be traced to the earliest records, such as the Code of Hammurabi, which refers to slavery as an already established institution.]

not the best source, but close enough.. at any rate, like i said, i'm not going to waste my time on your straw man talking points..

re: Slave Trade Thrives in Sudan

    excerpt:

[MADHOL, Sudan (AP) - Stacks of money pass from the Christian foreigner to the Muslim trader, an exchange anxiously watched by a 13 - year - old girl with diamonds of sweat on her brow.

The Sudanese trader, his lap buried by currency worth $13,200, waves carelessly to free his merchandise - 132 slaves.

Akuac Malong, the young Dinka girl, is among them. She has spent seven years - more than half her life - enslaved by an Arab in northern Sudan.

Her brilliant smile belies the beatings, near-starvation, mutilation and attempted brainwashing she endured.

``I thought it would be better to die than to remain a slave,'' Akuac says.

If mentioning the fact that Arabs took slaves in Africa (and that some may still be doing so) does not neagte my post, what is its relevance here? My post refuted Condell's idiotic claim that "western culture" had grown more civilized since the inquisition (and thus, by implication, is superior to 'savage' Islamic culture). Nothing in your post refutes this.
