Flip... National Guard Poster Boy Tells Recruits NOT to Enlist

Flip...
Army National Guard Poster Boy: "If you are considering enlisting DON'T ENLIST"

** Weasel Zippers has the unhinged video.

Here is another video of the Left's favorite new antiwar friend, Stewart Zamudio, the New York national guard poster boy:

In this video made on July 7, 2007, Stewart says he is a former national guard soldier.

In the video he made yesterday bashing the president with nutty Davis Fleetwood , he is in full uniform.
Does anyone know if that is legal?

Last year, antiwar deserter U.S. Army First Lt. Ehren K. Watada was charged with

"Two counts of contempt towards officials (Article 88) - specifically President G. W. Bush, three counts of conduct unbecoming an officer and a gentleman (Article 133)..."
This was after Watada made a speech to an antiwar group posted on YouTube.
Would this apply to poster boy Zamudio?

Related: Antiwar marine Adam Kokesh was kicked out of the Marines days early with a general discharge after he wore his uniform during an anti-war demonstration

okay, first off.. there was no date on the Weasel Zippers video clip, and i swear i've seen that long ago!!

secondly, the Stewart Zamudio / Davis Fleetwood link video was definitely put together either before, or sometime around the date it was Added: (November 26, 2006).. not to mention they spoke of Rummy having stepped down.. as for his mentioning Petraeus, Sept 2007 is not the first time Petraeus has appeared before the Senate.. he very well could have been referring to the time Petraeus had to appear before the Senate to get their approval to do the surge (or whatever it was, i know the vote was unanimous)..

it's also a great mystery as to why the Army would use him as a poster boy in 2007 with those videos out there (also don't recall seeing any dates on those as well, but whatever)??

i firmly believe the videos were made back in 06, and are not not "new".. like i said, i recall seeing the undated SZ/DF video many moons ago..

  2. BG- The video at WZip was posted on YouTube one day ago. Stewart says he was making the ads in 2006 I believe. The video I posted was before the dem debate. I am just not sure if any rules were broken. The kid obviously demands loads of attention.

i found the supposed Army 2007 clip posted

my point is, it doesn't matter when a video
is posted, what matters is when it was made..

witness the OBL tapes.. and i KNOW FOR
CERTAIN that i've seen the supposed "new"
    video MONTHS ago..

    thanks..

  8. Not sure if we have any current Sedition laws but it certainly a violation of any previous Sedition acts we've had.

  11. It's within the law for him to wear his uniform for public events like 4th of July celebrations or parades. It's against the law for him to wear the uniform while making any statement that supports any candidate or political party. He has to be maintaining dress standards for him to be legal, although that requirement isn't enforced anymore.

The Vietnam debacle in the U.S. trashed more than foreigners lives it trashed the memory and honor of the armed services. I would like to get some payback.

  12. BTW, the National Guard is in a grey area, If it's not activated then authority rests with the governor of the state that it's formed in. So the poster boy would be a function of the state through the state's chain of command. The armed forces wouldn't take notice of that aspect of the day to day operation of the Guard. That's a morale booster.

  13. Did Zamudio think he was joining the Boy Scouts or something?

Maybe Zamudio does have some valid criticisms of the way George W has tried to deal with terrorists in a politically correct fashion but some of his YouTube nonsense is indicative of Zamudio's less than tenuous grip on reality...

Mike H. is correct, however, if this boy is ever courtmartialed, it will be brought up. Also, don't be surprised if he get shi ass beat somewhere by some angry vets.

Jesus, you Americans really are nazis...

I'm glad you're losing the war. I hope the next 9/11 wipes you all out altogether.

  16. Foreigner,

Soon as you come out of your delusions find a way to deal with it. If you find yourself in a room with a 300lb gorilla it is best not to piss it off. If you truly are a 'foreigner' I would guess from your grammar that you are from a country that has been cowering behind the skirt of American military power for generations; you demean the very thing that has provided you the freedom to say absurd and uninformed things.

You know if you had actually served in the military instead of pretending to via this blog, you would be able to answer this question....

Folks, will you please google these answers to your questions about whether or not you can get this particular anti-war veteran thrown in jail and stop speculating and making yourselves look like idiots?

    Please?

If you need help, Sadly,No! has already done the work for you.

    You guys are quite pathetic.

OK, I may be a lefty troll strolling through here, but you're a far bigger idiot than any of our right-wingers could ever achieve. Whatever mini-economy you live in, I'm sure you'll just love what happens to it if the US economy even suffers a depression, much less a collapse. Your stupid ass almost definitely typed your idiotic comment on a US designed computer running US designed software. While you're wishing for our destruction, you're probably eagerly awaiting the next generation MacBook or something, you retard.

  20. Gateway Pundit:

I followed galen's link and those from SadlyNo's page and keeping in mind annonymous's advice to avoid looking pathetic I spent a little time and fed the Great Gagoozle beast some queries on the issues at hand. Here's what I found up to now but I could have missed something:

    1. We do not know what conditions he was discharged but I assume it was honorable. So he has the right to wear the uniform. However he is not wearing it in accordance with the intent and stipulations discussed in paragraph 3 of the letter from the Army on SadlyNo's link. I would guess the Army never intended it to be used as a prop for anti-military rants. I doubt there is anything they can do about it.

    2. Though his words are seditious and he could have been prosecuted in other conflicts the last statutory law against sedition was the Smith Act (18 U.S.C. § 2385) of 1940 and effectively became nullified by court decisions in 1964.

    3. Annonymous gets a pass from me for showing 'foreigner' not to stick his hand between two cats fighting.

Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.

Remember your words as you enjoy the Dark Age that will follow. Remember them as you think back on things that are in the past, like the internet, plentiful food, clean water, medicines and surgeries that can cure just about anything, being able to travel across the world in hours. Think of them as you enjoy your newfound 10th century lifestyle with 12th century Islamic overlords.

We will come to you in the night as all ghosts do. We will come and laugh because you got exactly what you wished for. We will laugh as you weep over your dead children, we will laugh as you are being flogged by the religious police, we will laugh as you slowly starve.

In the end even death will not be a release for you.

  23. And foreigner, nahanni's comment reminds me of those things that might bring about this Dark Age ( actually in the beginning it will be quite bright)for you should an attempt be made to annihilate the US... lurking deep in the oceans are our last will and testament full of the Sampson's complex, each carrying enough firepower to take out nations. So it looks like you're just going to have to get used to us.

  24. bg: not only that but in SadlyNo's case he must not have read the letter from the Army. Guess he was taken away in his snarky style or put the link there thinking nobody would actually read the letter.

And progressives... have you ever wondered to what end they are progressing ? I mean even a person falling off a cliff is involved in a progressive action. Unfortunately in this case at 32ft/sec/sec to an end of f=ma. So progressiveness is not always a positive thing but then the label liberal ( in the sense of being uninhibited by structure ) is far more appropriate in describing their worldview. Especially evident is their approach to thinking. Liberals don't 'think' they 'feel'.

The UCMJ applies even if you are in the reserve component. So, this man's Commanding Officer should proceed.
Once he separates, he can shoot his mouth off as much as he wants.
    No further discussion is required.
