A Muslim Organization blasted Columbia University for inviting Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak on campus on Monday:
Muslims Against Sharia condemn, in the strongest possible terms, the decision of Columbia University to provide a speaking venue for Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Apparently letting Akbar Rafsanjani speak at the National Cathedral was not the height of American Dhimmitude, because providing a venue for the world's foremost anti-Semite, whose proclaimed goal is the destruction of the USA and Israel, definitely takes the cake. What is surprising is that we don't hear any complaints from Columbia alumni who should be ashamed of their silence. This is from the group's website:
Brothers and Sisters!Meanwhile... The Columbia Dean says that the university would invite Hitler as well!
Do not make the next generation of Muslims clean up your mess!
Fight Islamic Fascism now, so your children won't have to!
Actually, Columbia did invite Hitler.

Oh, sure, they'd do the easy thing and invite *Hitler* but would they show some real cojones and invite someone *worse* than Hitler, like Cheney or Bush? They're wimps.
ReplyDeletedon't think there's any doubt that academia is in deep trouble. Professors and students a like are more likely to be morally and politically bankrupt trading patriotism for anarchy. And they think it's cool.
ReplyDeleteColumbia University bans military recruiters but invited Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to speak. I see. Well, I saw some students confidently describing how they would hold Mahmoud to the fire for his perceived international sins.... I have no doubt Mahmoud will make many converts in these young skulls full of mush. He's going to wipe the floor with them and leave them asking for more.
If you change that petition to defunding Columbia University then I'll sign it.
ReplyDeleteWow! dave and mike are being so sarcastic I almost Missed it!
ReplyDeleteThe university should be ashamed of theirself for even breathing the name hitler or anyone associated with terrorism such as iran and iraq. I hope they realize they are opening a door for some students who may be on the brink of falling for the lies that these muslim and islamic people are spewing out. I love our COUNTRY,our MILITARY and our PRESIDENT.
ReplyDeleteI am an American and a Columbia University Alum - My deepest wish for this event - is that it is either wholly boycotted by the youth whose very generation is fighting the war on terror and whose brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, HS classmates etc..are wounded and killed by arms provided to IRAQ by Iran OR that students disrupt it to the point that he fears for his life and leaves the premises.
ReplyDeletePlease do not talk to me about free speech. He is free to talk on any street corner in America - but I vehemently disagree with his being "validated" as a world leader when in reality, he is a terrorist first - world leader second.
For the youngsters who read this and want to rave on about BUSH/CHENEY, save your breath. You have no frame of reference with which to judge this adminstration because you have not lived in these United States long enough to have lived through more than one war, more than one administration, not even one recession etc...
So while you condemn things of which you know little or nothing - all the while eating your pizza in an air conditioned apartment, on your cable TV and/or internet that is near your automobile that you are planning to drive to church this evening just before you go to see the movie of your choice with your friends from various backgrounds - all without fear - either go walk in their (Iranian, Iraqui) shoes, in their country OR live here and live a few years before you drive America into the ground.

Thank you, I-Am-Not-Kidding.
ReplyDeleteWell put.
I hope that Ahmadinejad gets loudly booed and hissed, and there is no applause at all if he does speak.
