UN Human Rights Head Joins Ahmadinejad at Israel-Bash!

And, she sat two seats from him during the US and Israel (Zionist) bash!

EYE on the UN reported on this gross display in Tehran this week.

The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Louise Arbour, joined Mahmoud and host of other regime representatives at a human rights meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) currently chaired by Cuba.

This is the same group that agreed to bash just one country in their declaration of human rights, Israel, by:

"Expressing deep concern on the cultural uprooting which is continuously unfolding in the Palestinian occupied territory and the occupied Syrian Golan on the basis of such doctrines by the occupying power."
Oh, and the group also denounced:

"The attempts to identify any culture with terrorism, violence and human rights violations."
You wouldn't want to do that!

The Iranian regime went ahead and executed 21 prisoners the next day.

Here's another shot from EYE on the UN:

The families of the Iranian political prisoners did try to meet with the UN Human Rights chief while she was in Tehran but they were beatdown by the regime thugs.
Anne Bayefsky at National Review reported:

Arbour’s visit was kept a little-known secret. According to the National Council of Resistance of Iran, as soon as she arrived in Tehran members of families of political prisoners and those on death row, tried to contact her, some rushing to Tehran for the mere chance to see the U.N. chief on human rights, and to deliver their personal appeals. But after spending an hour outside the U.N. building in the hopes of meeting her, they were attacked by the State Security Forces (SSF).

  1. The Non-Aligned Movement is a joke and a relic from the beginning. Cuba actually established the NAM during the Cold War. The Non-Aligned part refers to a nonalignment with the US nor the USSR. Imagine Cuba trying to convice the world they aren't aligned with the USSR.

Well, it became an international forum for bashing the US, of course. I guess they figure they can bash the US by bashing Israel these days - in honor of Morey Dinnerjacket, their host.

  2. If you show pictures of men to be hanged, perhaps you could give us, me, a warning....it breaks my heart to see those innocent men having their lives snuffed out. Now if you ever get a picture of Amanutjob being hanged, no warning necessary.

"Parvaneh Osanloo, the wife of the leader of the Tehran bus workers’ union, Sandikaye Kargarane Sherkate Vahed, and his sister, visited the United Nations building in Tehran on Monday to meet with High Commissioner Louise Arbour. She was in Tehran to address the issue of detained students. Osanloo’s wife and sister planned to highlight the case of Osanloo, who has been in prison since 10 July, charged with “conspiring against national security”.
