I linked and commented. Let me give you the punchline:

The Indians fought wars with each other all the time for territory.

The white man was just a better Indian.

I agree with m. simon, its all about losers whining about their condition of being losers...

BTW anyone thinking that the indians aren't better off today or at least has the potential to be better off than their ancestors needs to take another look at reality...

To amplify what m. simon wrote, archaeological research has shown that that aboriginal societies had FAR higher rates of violent death than the eeevil Western culture that liberals like to demonize. So much for all that "peaceful, harmonious native american crap."

The word "riot" in your title is a tad extreme. I was there, and while it looked for a while like it might indeed turn into a full blown Grand Melee it ended peacefully enough. I tell you though, the moonbatterie produced a pretty respectable turnout. I would say that there were maybe 1500 people on their side. But the Italians in the parade managed a pretty fair turnout of their own, including bikers, tractor trailer rigs, classic cars, hummers and just people walking and waving Italian and American flags. Lots of American flags. Those who came to watch the parade were not so many, and the number of police in attendance perhaps outnumbered the protestors and the parade observers both. They even brought in the State Patrol.

It is a real shame that it has come to this. The leftists who run Denver's city government, lead by our redoubtable mayor "Hick", refuse to enforce the law. The Columbus day celebrants had a parade permit and the moonbats did not. Yet the moonbatterie were allowed obstruct the progress of the Columbus Day parade for more than an hour. They get away with it in this city because they can. If they tried this stunt in Milwaukee they'd be sleepin' with the fishes...

Churchill was conveniently out of town in NC, probably wanted to avoid arrest with his soon-to-be lawsuit.

40+ minutes of video at the link--thanks Jim for posting

"feeking deeply" is obviously their agenda.. not a cause for action "against injustice", or they'd have been in Burma, not protesting a peaceful parade in Denver, self aggrandizing hypocrites!!

All you people are haters! You wouldn't be hating on those protesting the Columbus Parade if your ancestors went through what oppressed and colonized people went through! Yeah, the Indians may have been violent or crazy back in the day but Columbus and his Western crew were far from being heroes! What kind of heroes deindianizes, kills and rapes people, for a piece of land that NEVER belonged to them, and NEVER had a right to it! Learn your history and people's history and THE experiences of those who are still living the after effects of Columbus brutal colonization of numerous tribes!

I was at the protest and in no way were there more cops than those who supported the protest!
