Six immigrant youths were arrested after the continued rioting in Copenhagen tonight.

Six youths were arrested in Copenhagen for setting cars and dumpsters ablaze and throwing stones at police in a fifth night of riots in a predominantly immigrant area of the Danish capital, police said Friday.Jylands Posten has video of the torchings HERE.
"We've had six arrests so far. They've been charged with throwing stones at police and setting fires to cars and waste containers," Chief Inspector Henrik Olesen of the Copenhagen police told AFP.
At least 11 cars were torched in various neighbourhoods of Copenhagen, and 10 others in the nearby town of Kokkedal.
On Thursday, 17 youths were arrested for rioting the previous night.
"We don't know why they're rioting. I think it's because they're bored. Some people say it's because of the cartoons but that's not my opinion," Olesen said.
He was referring to the reprinting of a controversial cartoon of the Prophet Mohammed in 17 Danish newspapers on Wednesday.
Protests have flared up again in several Muslim countries including Kuwait and Pakistan following the reprinting. The Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas also condemned the publication...
Three people were arrested for planning the murder, including two Tunisians who have lived in Denmark for more than seven years and whom Denmark has decided to expel without a trial.

Two Tunisians and a Dane of Moroccan origin were arrested in an alleged plot to kill the creator of the drawing.
The Dane was released after questioning, but the two Tunisians were remanded in custody for nearly a month Thursday as authorities decide whether to proceed with plans to deport them without a trial.
Critics said the Tunisians were being treated unfairly, and some observers warned resentment over the case could spill over into Copenhagen's immigrant neighborhoods, where youths have been setting fire to cars and trash bins for four consecutive nights. Seventeen people were arrested overnight, police said Thursday.

The abandonment of enlightenment era liberal ideas to post-Marxist nihilism by Western intellectuals and political leadership leaves ordinary citizens in countries such as Denmark with a stark choice. Do we live in a rump society of liberalism, quickly vanishing in favor of repressive Islamic cultures, or do we face an extreme and bloody nationalistic crackdown on Muslim immigrants?
I suspect that most citizens of Western countries like their hard fought freedoms and rights, and would fight for them again. Multiculturalism has failed, it has failed massively and miserably. The ideal response would be a tough and targeted crackdown against the rioters coupled with a vigorous and united social rejection of any Islamic "value" that is antithetical to traditional liberal Western values.
However, this middle ground is fast disappearing. The utter failure of Western intellectuals to come to grips with the failure of Multiculturalism paralyzes us and leaves us with the aforementioned dichotomy. It there time for the rest of us to just bypass our failed Western intellectuals and their failed ideas and rescue our societies without a bloodbath?

Is this a relevant detail? Most people in the United states are white Christians, so it is not exactly a distinguishing characteristic. One might note that 99.99999% of white Christian males in the US did NOT go on a shooting rampage recently to support the opposite conclusion. Nor did the shooter express any "white male Christian" reasons for going on a shooting rampage, for example, "My priest says I'll go to heaven and have 72 virgins if I kill innocent civilians randomly." such a statement might implicate Christianity if it were shown to be both true and mainstream. Rather all news accounts seem to indicate that the shooter was a psychiatric patient off his meds. I suppose that detail escaped the notice of the commenter.

I rather like having an aggressive foreign policy in the hopes that I do not need a draconian security policy at home. What is proper security at airports? Clear sided luggage and strip searches for Westerners while extremists shoot at us from underneath the burqas of their women? What's happening now is that those who opposed the war are redefining success out of existence. Most of them will always claim that we failed regardless of how big our success is. Yes, the war was mismanaged, but we have now succeeded. The US fatality rate in Iraq is now lower than the fatality rate for soldiers serving here at home. If we really care about our soldiers we will send them all to Iraq. It's safer. Its down to policing now. He or she will claim credit for progress in Iraq, a clear sign of success, and we will station soldiers there for years to come. Iraq is and will be a US ally. First of all, 9/11 didn't start on 9/11. It started way before that.
1993 was the first attack on the WTC. Clinton handled it just as a criminal action. We jailed one of the planners but failed to disrupt the network. We did not expand intelligence (you know, such as monitoring al qaeda communications in the United States). We did not cut off money supplies. We remained on defense.
In 1996, Bin Laden declared war on the United States but we didn't join the fight. He blew up our embassies, war ships and barracks. Americans died but we kept our responses limited or nonexistent.
