CAPTURED FARC COMPUTERS NAME BARACK OBAMA (Updated)

Captured FARC documents name Obama
Dead terrorist Raul Reyes had information that FARC was meeting "gringos" about Obama.

The computers captured this past weekend by Colombian soldiers at the campsite of FARC #2 Raul Reyes contained loads of damning information on FARC sympathizers and allies.

FARC Leader Raul Reyes was killed this weekend by Colombian forces. (LePoint)

The Colombians captured two FARC terrorist laptop computers at the terrorist camp. The Colombians discovered a treasure trove of information on the laptops including:

-- FARC connections with Ecuadorean president Rafael Correa
-- Records of $300 million offerings from Hugo Chavez
-- Thank you notes from Hugo Chavez dating back to 1992
-- Uranium purchasing records
-- Directions on how to make a Dirty Bomb

But, no one expected this---
The FARC Terrorists were hoping and expecting that Barack Obama would win the US elections in November because he was most aligned with the Colombian Marxist group.
This document was posted at Martha Colmenares (in Spanish) and Free Republic:

(translated)
6. The gringos will ask for an appointment with the minister to solicit him to communicate to us his interest in discussing these topics. They say that the new president of their country will be Obama and that they are interested in your compatriots. Obama will not support "Plan Colombia" nor will he sign the TLC (Colombian Free Trade agreement). Here we responded that we are interested in relations with all governments in equality of conditions and that in the case of the US it is required a public pronouncement expressing their interest in talking with the FARC given their eternal war against us.
Hat Tip BG

You've got to hand it to dead FARC terrorists...
Their analysis of Barack Obama is spot on.
The leading socialist Democrat is against free trade and is open to holding talks with terrorists without reservations.

The Campaign Spot did some research on Barack's comments on Colombia and comes up with one weak mention.

The mainstream media has not touched this story.

UPDATE: ABC News buried this information on the captured documents signed by different FARC leaders discussing the Gringos and Obama:

The same message says an Italian referred to only as Consolo has told Marquez "the European Parliament wants to get involved in the prisoner exchange."

Writing two days before his death, Reyes tells his secretariat comrades that "the gringos," working through Ecuador's government, are interested "in talking to us on various issues."

"They say the new president of their country will be (Barack) Obama," noting that Obama rejects both the Bush administration's free trade agreement with Colombia and the current military aid program.

Reyes said the response he relayed is that the United States would have to publicly express that desire.
Copies of 13 documents were given to the press.

Amazing as always, GP!

I have satellite TV at home and I receive some Arab satellite stations. The Syrian TV station is in love with Obama. I wasn't surprised.

I also go to some Lebanese political forums. The pro-Syrian, pro-Iranian, and pro-Hezbollah members for the most part prefer Barack Obama. The rest are too extreme to even support a candidate.

Someone has to stop this man before he destroys America and her allies in the Middle East. The United States has to stand up to the terrorists alone because no one else in the Western world can. If the United States is no longer up to the fight under an Obama regime, then it's nothing but dark days ahead.

Hmmm, I wonder if anyone, anyone at all in the MSM sphere (national or local) will question Obama on this?

If so I wonder if Obama will throw another hissy fit?

They are all working together. I'm amazed that you people still think there is a Conservative vs. Liberal argument. Wake Up People! All of the politicians in the USA serve the same masters. You are being duped to believe they take different sides.

That's my translation on the Free Republic post. There is another one from the newspaper "El Universal".

However I don't believe in this context "los gringos" means a specific group of Americans but just generally "The Americans". I other words, I think Reyes was referring about the American government in general, not some faction or group of Americans that is sympathetic to them. BTW, that first sentence is a bit of a pain to translate the way it was written, so feel free to compare between my translation and that of the Universal (they make it sound a meeting was already scheduled, they got that wrong in their tense)

Perhaps the "gringos" included Oliver Stone, well-known FARC cheerleader. Stone was in Colombia last Christmas to film a Hugo Chavez-orchestrated FARC hostage release. The PR coup collapsed amid claims of child-abuse by FARC, but that didn't stop Stone from singing FARC's praises:

Of the FARC (Stone) said, "Grabbing hostages is the fashion in which they can finance themselves and try to achieve their goals, which are difficult. I think they are heroic to fight for what they believe in and die for it, as was Castro in the hills of Cuba."

That's really good posting. Still, I'd like to have something a little more beefy than some statement about "gringos" and hope for an Obama presidency.

We know Obama'll weaken our security and prop up our enemies.

Hillary's not so great either, but there is a difference.

McCain's sewn things up, so now we can really start pounding the Dems on their nihilist antiwar appeasement.

What allies? Saudi Arabia? Pakistan?

Yes, stop this man before diplomacy breaks out and we have to stop killing brown people.

This is what negotiating by idiots with regimes like Iran result in:

http://www.memritv.org/clip/en/805.htm

From an interview withIranian chief negotiator on nuclear affairs, and member of the Iranian Supreme Council for National Security Hosein Musavian

The regime adopted a twofold policy here: It worked intensively with the IAEA, and it also conducted negotiations on international and political levels. The IAEA gave us a 50-day extension to suspend the enrichment and all related activities. But thanks to the negotiations with Europe we gained another year, in which we completed (the UCF) in Esfahan.

We suspended the UCF in Esfahan in October 2004, although we were required to do so in October 2003. If we had suspended it then, (the UCF) in Esfahan would have never been completed. Today we are in a position of power: (The UCF) in Esfahan is complete and UF4 and UF6 gasses are being produced. We have a stockpile of products, and during this period, we have managed to convert 36 tons of Yellow Cake into gas and store it. In Natanz, much of the work has been completed.

During these two years of negotiations, we managed to make far greater progress than North Korea. North Korea's most important achievement had to do with security guarantees. We achieved the same thing a year ago in the negotiations with the Europeans. They agreed to give us international guarantees for Iran's security, its national rule, its independence, non-intervention in its internal affairs, its national security, and not invading it.

==================

That is the risk of negotiating. The Iranians know how to play chumps like you and you don't even realize it.. or maybe you do realize it and don't care.

I am a little skeptical of the authenticity of this. It would also be in the Colombian government's interest to fabricate such a paragraph. Any chance of some followup in this regard?

With all things: "Trust, but verify."

But I'll tell you what, This is about a thousand times more credible that Hugo Chavez's risable and theatrical claims to have captured the coup's alleged US planners on video.

Just saying that there are lots of paths of disinformation that could call this "find" into question, and better to be cognizant of that now than later.

Which doesn't meet Chavez should n't disappear, and Obama shouldn't be exposed for the flufmeister he is.

Joanne, I'm not so sure about that, though a similar argument could be made - many progressives were fond of Hitler up until KrystalNacht.

I think it's much safer to say that Obama would have been an obvious recruitment vector for the KGB.

True, Steve.

I think the dirty bomb claims are bigger pieces to swallow than the observation that Obama's ideological commitments are in tension with the US policy with Columbia. Knowing what we know about his time with the rad-left payroll scheme called the Woods fund, you can almost expect him to be campaigning in a "Killer Coke" teeshirt.

Oooh good retort - not. It says a lot about Obama.

I am merely pointing out that now FARC have joined Obama's fan club, which also includes all America's enemies, which would have probably included Hitler, if he were alive today, but I realize this may have been a stretch for you to understand. And I should point out that all America's enemies love Hitler too; just one big happy love fest amongst the haters and evil doers of the world, past and present.

And you are welcome; I didn't want anyone to beat me to it.

It is a well documented fact that the FARC recruits children for their "army". You don't consider that child abuse?

And nobody needs to exaggerate their human rights abuse record, just look at how many hostages they have. That is all the proof you need, it is not like they are denying holding thousands of hostages.

Oh and how they treat their hostages? Well, read it from one of the released hostages themselves;
http://www.elpais.com/articulo/internacional/Nos/llevaban/llevo/perro/elpepuint/20080305elpepuint_13/Tes

If you don't understand spanish let me give you the 10 second summary; They held this guy for over 6 years. He spent 4 years chained to a train like a dog, only released to go to the "bathroom" (in the jungle). He spent a couple of years without being able to talk to anybody, to the point he had to start talking to the trees.

To dehumanize them, the FARC would tell their very young jailers that these people were at fault for their poverty and how they deserved no mercy. This way, they wouldn't feel bad about their treatment.

Read up a bit on the FARC before you go off talking about things you don't know!

Barack Obama’s recent March 18 speech on race relations in America was one of the boldest and most relevant things to come from an American politician in years. Take a listen to my satire, in which I condensed a 40 minute speech down to 2. Mr. Obama urges a revolution on Washington and says the current administration should be taken to prison. Check it out

Don't you think if Obama was a terrist your FBI and CIA would have put him on the no fly list and put him in Guantanamo by now? Bunch of fools you are.

Some bunch of druglords masquerading as marxists liking Obama is sufficient reason for disqualifying him as a presidential nominee? Really? Their hopes couldn't be misplaced? It couldn't be unrelated to their drug trafficking? It couldn't not be unanimous? They couldn't just be trying to mess with us?

Even if none of those things are true, it does not, no matter how hard you claim it, say anything about Obama, only about FARC.

But who am I kidding? This is all incidental, at the end of the day, you deranged hicks not liking Obama is a forgone conclusion, none of this matters, something ELSE would just be your reason mash out your hilariously ignorant rants.

Obama is bad not because FARC likes him, or because his preacher said some inflammatory things, it's because he's A)A democrat, and your simple-minded far right groupthing requires you to hate everyone left of Pat Buchanan, and B)because Obama isn't a bloodlusting maniac, a mindset which you and so many other Fox news watching GOP sycophants have permanently confused with "guts" or some similar nebulous concept inferring presence of bravery.

Haha, love it, starts with complaint about lumping all right-wingers together, then ends with "you and Chavez and your ilk". Hi pot, my name is kettle!

Also, "empty, dangerous suit", I suppose this is opposed to every other politician, who are good upstanding citizens? Don't make me laugh. Do, though, make it into something other than a vague insult, or even back it up with some evidence!

Obama is a suit filled with platitudes. He ia ignorant of history, of economics, and science. Or, he is a demagogue who thinks no one will notice when he claims that Roosevelt negotiated with Hitler and Tojo.

Those who support Obama are either grotesquely ignorant or stupid. At least with Hillary, you would have a mere quasi-socialist, not a complete null set of platitudes.

Enjoy your well-deserved defeat in November.
