Fitna meaning mischief in Arabic is the name of Dutch right-wing MP Geert Wilders' 15-minute film on the Qur'an.
Reuters reported:
Dutch right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders posted a film he said would be critical of the Koran on the Internet on Thursday, although it has angered Muslims and could fuel protests.A screenshot from Fitna the movie:
The film was posted on his PVV party's Web site.
Wilders has called the Koran, Islam's holy book, a "fascist" book that incites violence.

A Dutch judge is due on Friday to hear the petition of a Muslim group seeking an independent review of an anti-Quran film by lawmaker Geert Wilders to see whether it violates hate speech laws....Except that the Jews in the 1930's weren't threatening to blow up government buildings or behead their detractors, of course.
The petition, seen by The Associated Press Thursday at the Hague District Court, says the Dutch Islamic Federation "believes the situation of Muslims in the Netherlands today is comparable with that of our Jewish fellow-citizens in the 1930s."

All freedom starts with freedom of speech. If there is no freedom of speech, there will be no freedom. The Christians and Jews don’t riot when somebody makes fun of Christ or Jews. People must learn to be civilized. Rioting MUST not be tolerated.

There was not one thing in that video that I thought was a lie. The fact that Muslims object to the video as being "anti-Islamic" just proves how crazy their world view is, because all the video does is present the words of their own holy book, their own imams, and the actions of their own fanatics.
I pray for Mr. Wilders' safety, and that of his family, and for our own.
The Islam is not a religion. The Islam is a dangerous sect for the people and the humanity.
Who it does no want to see that the Islam is a danger for the westerm society, he is blind, he is stupid, or he is miserable and a cowardly one.

with all due respect.. to many in the US/West the "anything goes culture" that liberal progressives have worked hard & long at creating is bringing US down faster than Islam ever could.. but Islam is not the remedy for all that ails the worlds corruption of morals.. as a matter of fact, the Islam we know of by it's actions & inactions is completely void of humanity, never mind morals..

Islam is truly the most dangerous thing to reach our shores since Adolf Hitler. Mohamed was not a prophet but merely a man who was rejected by Zion and was so envious of their religion he created his own and baptised it with the use of force which continues today. Mohamed appeared 500 years after the death of Christ and he stole parts of the Torah and the Bible with a twist of his own to add to its violence and barbarity all in the name of peace and love, so Islamic scholars would have us believe, after shouting for all our heads on a stick for refusing to recognise them as the true way. A poll taken here in the UK recently showed that more than 40% of Muslims condoned terrorists and the acts of 9/11 and 7/7 to name but two barbaric acts committed by these animals. 40% is some minority folks seeing as we are constantly reminded by our Governments that it is only a small minority of Muslims who think that way. The only safe thing to do to protect ourselves, our children, our grandchildren is to remove Islam from our shores and send it back to where it belongs. Back to where the religion festers and where those who enjoy their current freedoms in the west not forgetting the housing and benefits they have no problems in claiming from us, to where they will not receive them. Geert Wilder is a hero the only honest politician I have heard in years, God bless him I wish we had many more like him in Europe today. Shame on the Dutch Government for denying his freedom to speak out against Islam all because they are too frightened of Islam to stand up against them. We need more like this man and then we can rid our blessed Europe and the UK of this evil army, the devils own army.

a few corrections i'd like to point out...
1. "The film was posted on his PVV party's Web site." - Partij voor de Vrijheid or PVV did not air Fitna. it was LiveLeak a Dutch cousin of YouTube.
2. showing Salah Edin (the Dutch Rapper) as Mohammed Bouyeri the guy who killed Theo van Gough was no mistake. Salah Edin's picture was shot for his almub 'Nederlands Grootste Nachtmerrie' to look like a mugshot of Bouyeri.The photo was said by the rapper to be intended to depict "the way the average white Dutch citizen sees me, as a young Moroccan Muslim radical. That's why I chose to do this picture and use it for the front cover of my album. It is in no way supporting the deeds of Mohamed B".

It is also interesting to note that in actuality, more than 80% of all Muslims are not Arabs - there are more Muslims in Indonesia than in the whole Arab World! So though even though it is true that most Arabs are Muslims, the large majority of Muslims are not Arabs. However, anyone who submits completely to God and worships Him alone is a Muslim.
