Hillary Clinton Ally Compares Jeremiah Wright to David Duke
Jeremiah Wright = David Duke
Clinton supporter Niall O'Dowd bashed Obama's pastor Jeremiah Wright today comparing him to David Duke.
This follows Hillary's attack earlier on Obama and his mentor Wright.
TPM ELection Central reported on the latest Clinton official to bash Obama's racist Reverend Jeremiah Wright.
The Wright Stuff is coming fast and furious from Hillary and her supporters.TPM ELection Central has audio of the interview.
First Hillary criticized Obama today for not sufficiently distancing himself from the controversial pastor.
I've now learned that a member of Hillary's finance committee and a longtime ally of the Clintons has made some very explicit statements about Barack Obama's ties to his controversial minister, Jeremiah Wright, saying that it's "legitimate" to raise questions about those ties, comparing Wright to David Duke, and claiming that Obama has "used race where it suited him."
The finance committee member, Niall O'Dowd, made the comments on Saturday in an unnoticed interview with RTE Radio in Ireland. The Wright issue has been raised by Hillary surrogates Lanny Davis and Joe Wilson, making O'Dowd the third Hillaryite (or fourth, if you include Hillary herself) to hit Obama over Wright.
Later today... A Democratic Party official said that Hillary will have to "break Obama's back" in order to win the Democratic Primary.
It looks like she's found her club.

sorry, but i disagree that he "bashed" anyone.. as a matter of fact, it seemed to me that he was the one getting bashed.. imo he spoke rather dignified, not to mention truthfully.. a rarity, especially when compared to the way candidates themselves have spoken at times..

bg, you make a good point...especially listening to the video.

O'Dowd is completely correct.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Why can't we have candidates like this woman? I would vote for her.
Ahhh, yes assorted babble by suzie that story came out over a year ago and wasn't it amazing the coverage it got here in the good, ole US of A?
From the U.K. Daily Mail dated 22:51pm on 27th January 2007: A drunk and a bigot - what the US Presidental hopeful HASN'T said about his father...
BTW abbs you might want to take a gander at Thomas Sowell's latest regarding Obama, the preacher, and the defenders: The Audacity of Rhetoric
It is painful to watch defenders of Barack Obama tying themselves into knots trying to evade the obvious.
Some are saying that Senator Obama cannot be held responsible for what his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, said. In their version of events, Barack Obama just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time -- and a bunch of mean-spirited people are trying to make something out of it.
(there is more)
Regarding Lt. Colonel Frances Rice, good catch ytba and yeah I would vote for someone with that much common sense and honesty too...
anon @ 7:40 PM says: "O'Dowd is completely correct" but is O'Dowd acting the fool by defending a pathological liar and hypocrite like Hillary the harpie?
Obama has almost zero chance of winning the general presidential election right now.
The democrats would be foolish not to realize that.
And I am NOT a Hillary Clinton supporter.
My whole voting life has seen either a Bush or a Clinton as candidates. (sometimes both) We CAN do better as a country.
But it doesn't seem like this election.
That is insulting to Duke...
tass brings up an interesting point: "Obama has almost zero chance of winning the general presidential election right now"...
This reminds of me of the Rasmussen Report poll out today:
22% of Democrats Want Clinton to Drop Out; 22% Say Obama Should Withdraw
One more nugget from Gallup caught my eye also:
If McCain vs. Obama, 28% of Clinton Backers Go for McCain
Hey, I can do a one-degree of separation between Clinton and Duke via a campaign donor! Have to love that stuff being online... makes for wonderful research. The man's name is Arik Kislin, and he did indeed, donate to both David Duke and Hillary Clinton. Arik Kislin son of Sam Kislin... associated with the Chernoy Brothers.
Never heard of them?
How about the Red Mafia?
Bank of New York scandal? That promises to make BNL/BCCI look like a minor fraud in comparison because it didn't stop with BoNY...
Got another name associated with that scandal... Nadhmi Auchi, who helped Obama buy some land in the Rezko deal. He is associated with Oleg Depripaska who recently had a meeting with... Sen. John McCain. Depripaska was also involved in the BoNY/Menatep banking fraud, and has hired Bob Dole to get him some sort of entry visa to the US... currently in London with a few other wealth Red Mafia sorts like Roman Abramovich and Dmitri Firtash, who is the man being eased in to head up Semion Mogilevich's group. The group that used the BoNY penetration to defraud US and Canadian investors while he manipulated the Canadian stock market.
Remember that?
No?
1990's? Under President Bill Clinton who was associated with Mark Rich, part of the Auchi circle of friends and the Abromavich group? Remember the pardon for Marc Rich that no one could understand? Perhaps Hillary could answer some questions on that...
What an interesting election year...

Hillary is self-serving to the point of narcissism. She is fairly far behind and she is not polling well, rather than rally behind the leader for the good of the party AND the American people, she is doing everything in her power to destroy him. Bill Clinton was hailed as the “First black president” and was supportive of the African American community in his words and deeds. But should that be called into question, how much of that was truly sincere and how much was just to get their vote?
Right now, for the first time in history a great man who happens to be a black man has a chance to be President. Against great odds, he has won the most delegates and the most popular votes in a fair contest, experts agree the odds against Hillary catching him fairly at this point are poor at best.
Hillary is using every dirty political tactic, her campaign has pulled the race card, they have tried to portray Barack as a Muslim, insinuated that he is unelectable, inexperienced, that his supporters need to get real, with the sole objective being to cause him such catastrophic political damage so that she can win the nomination by default. I would never vote for a candidate who has lied so often, and so easily to try and get my vote. Who has stooped so low as to try and use Barack's kindergarten papers against him, and now even after Barack so eloquently addressed the Reverend Wright issue in that historic speech, is using gutter politics to try and bring it up again to take the attention off of her lies about her experience. Talk about living in a glass house and throwing rocks… She says she would not have choosen Reverend Wright, but Barack might not choose to stay with and support a spouse whom cheated on him repeatedly, she is hardly in a position to claim moral high ground.
She has lied about Sniper fire, called Barack a liar in Ohio for his now obviously accurate mailer on her involvement in passing NAFTA, she even lied about something so petty as to why she was named Hillary. In Texas she is a Texan, in New York a New Yorker, In Ohio an out of work union worker…. Hillary has mocked the intelligence of the American people so often and so blatantly, well I think she will be surprised to learn we are not that stupid, and that Barack is not the candidate who is unelectable.
