Al Zawahiri Promises to Take Jerusalem After US Pulls Out of Iraq
For some strange reason this did not make any headlines...
Al-Qaeda's second in command Ayman al-Zawahiri released an internet video where he said that after the US leaves Iraq (The Obama Plan) Al-Qaeda will proceed from there and take Jerusalem.
Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri in his "A Review of Events" speech promises that al-Qaeda will take Jerusalem just as soon as the US pulls out of Iraq. (SITE Institute)

Al-Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al- Zawahiri defended insurgent attacks in Iraq, Algeria and Morocco that killed Muslims and blamed the West for using them as human shields, according to a U.S.-based intelligence group.Laura Mansfield has the transcript of the Zawahiri speech.
Zawahiri was responding to questions posed to him over the Internet after announcing the online interview in December, according to IntelCenter, based in Alexandria, Virginia...
Zawahiri said he expected the jihad, or holy war, to move to Jerusalem when U.S. forces leave Iraq.
"There is no doubt that the American collapse has begun," he said. "The raids on New York and Washington were identifying marks of this collapse, but I point out that the collapse of empires doesn't come in a single moment."

First: I expect the Jihadi influence to spread after the Americans’ exit from Iraq, and to move towards Jerusalem (with Allah’s permission). I am sure that the Democrats are working closely with Al Qaida, Hamas, Hzbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and Ayman al-Zawahiri in order to coordinate their efforts to destroy America and Israel. After all, they have had numerous meetings at high levels for the past 18 months.
They should bear in mind that a traitors death is generally a very slow and painful one.
Personally I think Al Zawahiri is guessing that Obama will end up in the Oval Office after the November election...

The terrorist attacks in NY and Washington, were terrible, horrible events but they didn't collapse anything except buildings.
We lost a lot of people. We were heartbroken but we are going on much as before, except perhaps a little less naive.
That's what they don't get. London, Madrid, New York, Washington, Jordan and Iraq, the terrorists are not winning anything. We are still here. We are even stronger and more determined and in my best Achmed the dead terrorist voice, I say to them, "I keel you more.

Bus drivers are trained to watch for suspicious people, etc.? I think people - parents, employers - should be watching for suspicious bus drivers, and all bus drivers better be doing a walk around their buses inside and out before they take them out to pick up children.
If terrorists want to hit at the heart of Americans in a single blow, this would be how they would do it.
I believe the "collapse" Zawahiri was referring to with his "myth of unipolarity is an an end" comment was the collapse of the US from within, TaSS. As in divide and conquer.
He might be saying that our aggressive responses in ME warfare commenced with 911. And if you use today's pro/anti divide as a measure, Zawahiri will argue our collapse from within is imminent.
However I can not recommend a full read of this 48pg interview strongly enuf. The long term goals are clearly spelled out. First bring American resolve to it's knees, and eliminate any Crusader and Jewish presence and influence in Arab lands. Also UN presence. He specifically labeled them as the enemy as well.
When that's done, go after the "apostate" Arab regimes who do not implement and rule under Islamic law.
Zawahiri says if the Iraq Awakening Council cannot defeat them in Iraq with America's superpower, who can stop them? Not even with Iran's help can they be deterred.
Indeed, if Iraq cannot make it, they can pronounce to the world that US superpower is no obstacle to their quest.
When it comes to Iran, they'll let the US and Iran duke it out, and tackle the last one standing. However they hope both countries are sapped, thereby removing their ability to influence.
This interview should be broadcast loudly to the electorate. Enuf of this "we'll leave Iraq and Afghanistan, and they'll leave us alone" BS.
