Obama and Malik Zulu Shabazz Disagree On Rev. Wright

(Examiner cartoonist Nate Beeler)

After Jeremiah Wright's whirlwind speaking tour this weekend, Barack Obama again tried to distance himself from his vile mentor and father-figure on Monday.
FOX News Election HQ reported:

Barack Obama on Monday once again distanced himself from his retired pastor, Jeremiah Wright, as the reverend grabbed the spotlight for the fourth day in a row by suggesting the furor around his controversial remarks is an attack on black churches in America.

Plagued by the ongoing uproar regarding Wright, Obama said Wright does not represent his views or vice versa.

“I have said before and I will repeat again that what some of the comments that Reverend Wright have made offend me and I understand why they’ve offended the American people,’ Obama told reporters while traveling in Wilmington, N.C. “He does not speak for me. He does not speak for the campaign and so he may make statements in the future that don’t reflect my values or concerns.”

...For days, Wright has been on something of a speaking tour, starting with a PBS interview on Friday and an NAACP dinner over the weekend. On Monday, Wright appeared at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., but rather than trying to dampen the firestorm, the former Vietnam veteran and son of a middle class family from Philadelphia added fuel to the flames.

“God doesn’t bless everything,” Wright responded when asked if he was apologetic for suggesting the U.S. should be damned. “God condemns something — and d-e-m-n, ‘demn,’ is where we get the word ‘damn.’ God damns some practices.”
And, Wright continues to damn the Obama campaign into oblivion.

Meanwhile... Malik Zulu Shabazz, national chairman of the New Black Panther Party, lauded Rev. Jeremiah Wright as a "man of principle" for sticking to his teachings of "black liberation theology" during Monday's highly publicized session at the National Press Club.
World Net Daily reported:

Shabazz, who was in the audience at Wright's National Press Club event in Washington, said he was particularly proud of Wright's defense of Nation of Islam head Louis Farrakhan.

He also labeled as "strong" Wright's accusation U.S. policy was to blame for the 9-11 attacks.

Shabazz's NBPP is a controversial black extremist party whose leaders are notorious for their racist statements and for leading anti-white activism.

The deceased chairman of the NBPP, Khallid Abdul Muhammad, is a former Nation of Islam leader who was once considered Farrakhan's most trusted adviser. Muhammad gave speeches referring to the "white man" as the "devil" and claiming that "there is a little bit of Hitler in all white people."

During a question and answer session at today's event, Wright praised Farrakhan as "one of the most important voices in the 20th and 21st century... that's what I think about him."

"Louis Farrakhan is not my enemy. He did not put me in chains, he did not put me in slavery, and he didn't make me this color," said Wright.

Wright quoted Farrakhan stating "Zionism, not Judaism, was a gutter religion. He was talking about the same thing United Nations resolutions say, the same thing now that President Carter's being vilified for and Bishop Tutu's being vilified for. And everybody wants to paint me as if I'm anti-Semitic because of what Louis Farrakhan said 20 years ago."

...Shabazz chalked up Sen. Barack Obama's recent statement distancing himself from some of Wright's positions as "pure politics."

"Because of the climate in which Wright has been raised to the point where it's the number one political liability against Obama... I believe the Wright you have seen the last few days is the Wright Obama met."
If Obama is so bright, he sure was blind to Jeremiah Wright's hateful rhetoric for all of those years. Either that, or he is not telling the truth about Wright.

Obama made his campaign all about judgment, since he has no experience. It's clear his judgment was fine with sitting in the pews listening to Wright for 20years. Yesterday at the Press Club, Wright was being himself; who he was those 20 years to Barack Obama. While they both like to say Wright didn't influence or discuss politics with Obama, HIS SERMONS ARE POLITICAL, not spiritual in nature.

I hope this sinks the hollow ship of Barack Obama.

Let's put it this way. Anyone who gets into Harvard Law, and gets elected to the Law Review, ain't dumb. Obama took tapes of his pastor's sermons to Harvard.

By the law of large numbers, a random sample will usually be a good indication of the entire data set. Seems that it isn't very hard to find samples of Wright in the Political GD America mode. Ain't cherry picking at all.

Poster Amy Proctor is spot-on. As she said, Wright was being himself at the Press Club, and his sermons are political.

Obama first said that he never heard Wright's hate speech whenever he was in church. Then he said he had heard "some" of the things Wright said and he disagreed with them. Now he is trying to put distance between Wright and his public persona. But that dog won't hunt because Wright is selling Obama out.

First Wright said that Obama did dis-invited him from giving the invocation when Obama announced his candidacy because Obama felt some of Wright's comments could be considered "controversial".

By why is no one, and I mean no one in the public eye, bringing up the fact that the Obama campaign is trying to help Wright with damage control?

TPM Election central reported on April 3, 2008, that David Axelrod, Obama's campaign mananger, had gone to a high dollar P.R. firm in Chicago, Jascusla-Terman & Associates, to help out Trinity with their P.R. problem. Since Wright is still listed on the TCCU website as pastor (if he has retired why not change that the same time the black values system wording was changed?) you can assume that Axelrod wanted to help out the beleagured Wright as well.

Greg Sargent of TPM said that he confirmed with Axelrod, as well as the president of Jascula-Terman, Jim Terman, that the Obama campaign had contacted them. Jascula-Terman specializes in crisis management for corporations and large institutions. Jim Terman admitted that the agency had taken Trinity on a pro bono basis.

Read it for yourself and decide if Obama has really distanced himself from Wright's hate speech:

Where are conservative bloggers on this? Conservative bloggers have forced pastor disaster to the forefront to begin with. Why are they not showing the duplicity of Obama between his "words" and his "actions"?

Once again if they don't like this country, get out. Oh thats right were else can they say all this treasonous crap and get away with it. All the other countries that they like would have either shot them on sight, beat and tortured them or just made them disappear.

i don't know where you've been GP..

but it has been proved over & over again [in here (as well as elswhere) that Obama did lie about hearing Wright's poisonous sermons.. Obama's books reveal that truth over & over again as well..

however & irrespective of Wright.. Obama has made enough poisonous statements of his own (which have also been exposed in here as well as elsewhere)..

ie:

typical white person

bitter

cling to guns or religion

antipathy toward people who aren't like them

OT (well not really, it's all connected to
the Obamessiah one way or another)..

OT.. saw this coming as far back as 9/11/01 for cripes sake..

the Islamification of the US

excerpts:

[A tree grew in Brooklyn.

No longer.

It has been uprooted by the Masjid At-Taqwa and other radical mosques that have sprouted up like huge mechanical mushrooms throughout the borough.

If you tarry in front of the Masjid At-Taqwa in the Bedford - Stuyvesant district and dare to take a photo, you might get hauled away by a group of angry Muslims in Islamic attire to the basement of the facility where a group of twenty “security guards” in karate suits will interrogate you.

This sounds preposterous.

But it happened on a weekend in late April at 3:00 in the afternoon.

Ali Kareem, the head of security for Siraj Wahaj’s mosque, conducted the grilling. A small, muscular man with a wispy black beard that has been dyed red with henna, Kareem demanded to know the reason why a trio of kafirs had dared to photograph the building on a public street without securing his permission.

He further insisted on securing our identities and obtaining our motives for such a violation of Islamic space.

Being surrounded by a group of militant guards in a mosque basement from which there is no means of escape is not a comforting place to be for a Wall Street financier.

We tried to explain that we found the neighborhood with its halal meat vendors and food stores; Islamic dress shops, featuring the latest styles in burqas and hijabs; Muslim souvenir outlets, replete with bumper stickers stating “Don’t Be Caught Dead Without Islam”; and Middle Eastern restaurants offering a variety of goat dishes to be rather quaint and interesting.

This explanation was not sufficient.]

[But what of Wahaj? Is he an exponent of radical Islam
- - a man who poses a threat to millions of Americans?

He is a well-known and welcome figure in Washington, DC. He was the first Muslim cleric to offer the invocation at the opening session of Congress. He has dined with former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and serves on the boards of no less than five major Muslim organizations. He has received commendations from the Brooklyn police for eradicating crime from the Bedford-Stuyvesant area. In 2003, Siraj Wahaj Day was celebrated in Brooklyn in recognition of what one borough official called a “lifetime of outstanding and meaningful achievement.”

But the proof of the real Wahaj is in the proverbial pudding.

In one of his sermons, Wahaj announced that the “real terrorists” are the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Central Intelligence Agency. In another, he said, “In time, this so - called democracy will crumble, and there will be nothing. And the only thing that will remain will be Islam.” He proclaimed that a society governed by strict Islamic law, in which adulterers are stoned to death and apostates beheaded, would be vastly superior to American democracy.

To a Muslim audience in New Jersey, Wahaj advocated the idea of Muslims forming a coup to take control of the federal government. “If we are united and strong,” he said, “we’d elect our own emir [leader] and give allegiance to him. Take my word for it, if six to eight million Muslims are united in America, the country will come to us.”]

Islam and Black Liberation Theology

excerpt:

[The reason for so many parallels between Islam and BLT is that they are both based upon the same principles—submission and duality. Since Islam views white America as an enemy, BLT see Islam as the "enemy of my enemy" and therefore is a friend. Witness the award that Rev. Wright gave Louis Farrakhan as an outstanding person. This comradeship is temporary. When the time comes and Islam is fully ascendant, BLT will find out that Islam has been using them, just as Islam uses the Left. In the end, Islam will annihilate BLT for the simple reason that Islam demands political submission from ALL, not the just the whites.]

Taqqiyah & Jihad

The Art of Taqqiyah

Obama to a Taqiyya

excerpts:

[Islamic spokesmen commonly use taqiyya as a form of 'outwitting'. The skilled taqiyya - tactician doesn’t want the matter at hand to be debated or discussed; so his opponent must be outwitted or preemptively outflanked by the use of taqiyya. The objective is to divert attention away from the subject through duplicity and obfuscation.]

iow:

"don't look here; look over there"

[When placed under scrutiny or criminal investigation, (even when there is overwhelming, irrefutable evidence of guilt or complicity), the taqiyya - tactician will quickly attempt to counter the allegation by resorting to the claim that it is, in fact, the accused who are the 'the victims'. Victims of Islamophobia, racism, religious discrimination and intolerance. Currently, this is the most commonly encountered form of distraction and 'outwitting'….. Defence by offence.]

Let's see.
Obama finds his religion at Trinity and it's theology. BLT and Liberation Theology it is based on is Marxism with god. As Amy points out, it really is politics as sermon. But that is the basis of their religion. Wright is not swerving to politics in his sermons, his theology is Identity Politics.

Obama is backed by and has backed NBPP.
NBPP is Maoist rhetoric with Racial undertones added to appeal to blacks.

Obama sure does love him some communistic socialisms.

glad even the press are starting to notice something, maybe the rest of the nation will as well.
