This week House Republicans demanded that Pelosi turn over her promised plan to cut gas prices:
House Republican leaders on Tuesday challenged Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to release a plan to lower gas prices that they say Democrats touted when they were in the minority.Sadly, she couldn't deliver.
“Two years ago this week, you stated that House Democrats had a ‘commonsense plan’ to ‘lower gas prices,’ ” the letter said. “In light of the skyrocketing gasoline prices affecting working families and every sector of our struggling economy, we are writing today to respectfully request that you reveal this ‘commonsense plan’ so we can begin work on responsible solutions to help ease this strain.”
Pelosi and democrats have no plan-- just complaints.
Larry King even tried to get her to say something about her plan, via Michelle Malkin:
She had nothing.
Democrats may have been elected into office because of their constant complaints against President Bush, the military, the Republican Congress, Karl Rove, Scooter, Abu Ghraib...
But, now that they are in control everyone can see they have nothing.
No plan- No ideas- Nothing.
It's clear today and Americans are suffering because of it.

Today she say that we should stop filling the strategic oil resevre, thereby lowering gas prices an estimated $0.24
My math show $3.56 - $0.24 = $3.32
I think that will make up for last week's surge in prices.
What America needs less of are these clueless politicians like Pelosi that are the real problem with energy independence. They pander to their lunatic 'green' constituency at the cost of the well-being of the whole nation. It is not Bush and a Republican rubber-stamp congress that are preventing exploration in ANWAR, the west coast and Gulf coast reserves. Nor is it the Republicans that are preventing the building of nuclear plants and refineries. It is her party that is doing it. If you want to get these issues resolved then take the reigns of power away from people like her.

She doesn't even know how much gas is. She said $2.66. I wouldn't expect a multi-millionaire to know the price of gas because it only matters to the "little people". Elitists really do live in their own little world.
3.56 USD for a gallon, that's about 2.3 Euro.
Ermm... You're paying ~60 Eurocent per liter.
In Germany and Austria you get to pay 1.4 Euro per liter. Diesel's above 1 Euro as well.
Americans whining about their gas prices is always a tad bit irritating.
I don't care one little bit what the euro's pay for their gas or oil. That has absolutely no affect on me whatsoever. If the euro's don't like paying so much for oil, taxes, etc. then take care of it yourself.
