Answering Barack Obama On Hamas In Gaza

Barack Obama today, blamed the US for the Hamas takeover of Gaza, and asked:

"They’ll have to explain why Hamas now controls Gaza – Hamas that was strengthened because the US insisted that we have democratic elections in the Palestinian Authority."
Here's the reason why Hamas controls Gaza--
Because they dug a tunnel under the Fatah headquarters and blew it up!

...And, Hamas did this while they were holding "peace talks" with Fatah!
That's why.

  1. Obama is really starting to teeter on the brink now.

The best thing that happened was the election. Hamas getting elected, a foregone conclusion, unmasked them to the world's eyes. Mythic freedom fighters were shown to be the criminal/terrorist enterprise that all sane people had said they were.

Now enshrined in a quasi state they could now be held responsible for their constitutional plank--the destruction of Israel. All funding dried up. Perhaps this is what Obama really laments. His church/Wright makes no bones about supporting Hamas in spirit.

Now it could be argued that these outcomes were all just coincidental or it could be the way I see it--they were planned. Sharon was a smart guy.

What it definitely was not, as Obama sees it, a setback.
Clarity is worth almost any price.

    patrick,

Agreed, always thought that as much as I hated the turnover, one of the truths that would be learned from it, was the actual face of terrorism would be seen.

Israel did what everyone wanted them to do. They gave the terrorist land. Look what happened. They still want to murder and destroy.

They were given land freely and now they've squandered it, unleashed a cess-pool of hatred, sponsored by Syria and Iran.

It shows appeasement does not work, that diplomacy does nto work, that surrendering land for peace does not work.

Exactly why Israel has every right to fight them. And we as a people must challenge and fight their hateful ideology, their institutions around the world that preach hatred, that incite their sheep to act upon their ideology and murder innocents daily.

That Obama sympathizes with these "cold blooded killers" as having "legitimate claims" is telling on his part and on the part of the far left comrades that support him.

When you talk about "fighting the enemy" I assume you mean with guns. I'm not sure you guys are in the same century as the rest of us. We can't do that anymore, it's not politically correct. Certainly it's a valid solution and a hell of a lot easier than brokering peace but it's off the table. We just can't carpet bomb our enemies like we used to. Now we have to have diplomacy and work out solutions to the problems that go beyond small arms fire.

If you still want to have "fight them" as a solution start trying to convince Americans that we need to be able to carpet bomb. There are some valid points, it's cheaper, quicker and longer lasting. However I think you have an uphill road and so does McCain.

  4. Obama and Soros really need to hire better trolls then the anonatard poster.

    Memo to anonatard:

Are you one of the Palestinians working for Obama or just a stupid moonbat troll?

Those are the only two groups that actually believe that sitting down and singing "kumbayah" with the Islamofascists will work.

Oh, Iran is looking for human shields, anonatard. They will even give you a free one way ticket there. Better hurry before their offer expires.

BTW-Don't take any drugs or alcohol with you and don't take your iPod. They will flog you for that Oh, you best not be gay, either. They hang gays there.

  5. Now to the subject of the post.

Obama really is totally clueless. He dis himself into a hole, hits bottom and still keeps on digging.

    /passes GP the popcorn...

I still do not think Obama will even get the nomination. But the Democrats are run by fools and they may just be stupid enough give the nomination to him. If they do that is the end of the party. it may not show in the 2008 election as much as it will in the 2010 one.

At the time I was very much opposed to Israel surrendering Gaza without preconditions, a view held by Netanyahu that has shown over time to be correct.

That said, it's also allowed Hamas to come to power and the light to be shone on the face of terrorism at a quasi-state level. The elections have put Hamas in a position where they have a greater responsibility then that of a shadowy proxy terror group and demonstrated they are incapable of governing anything or adjusting their goals appropriately.

The curtain has been pulled back and behind the symbolism of oppressed, impovershed Palestinians is a dirty terrorist group backed by some of the worst actors in the Middle East.

I hope Hamas stays in power, because it will only be a matter of time before even the most ardent western leftists begin to see them for what they are.
