The former Democratic VP Candidate says she does not know if she will vote for Barack Obama in the fall. She says like Michelle Obama she will make up her mind when the time comes.
Greta Van Susteren at FOX News interviewed the former Democratic Candidate for Vice President and Geraldine did not hold back.
Ferraro attacked the mainstream media for its sexism and "racism against whites":
(1 minute 56 seconds)
Geraldine Ferraro on voting for Obama:
"I intend to do precisely what Michelle Obama said when she was asked that exact same question if Hillary were the nominee. I intend to think about it and I'm going to look at a whole bunch of issues... And, obviously the Democratic Party felt that was a good idea because nobody objected to her saying that in February."Geraldine Ferraro on sexism and racism in America and the media:
"These two historic candidacies in 2008 would take racism and sexism and show the world that it is not in the DNA of the United States to deal with those issues the way they were dealt with years and years ago. Well folks, I was proven wrong. It is in the DNA of this country and it's in the DNA of the press. And, I think the press has been absolutely, unbelievably sexist and in some instances racist; not racist against blacks but in some instances racist against whites; picking up everything that was said and running with it as if it's true; attacking people for speaking up."Woah!
"I have to tell you I hear people... they come up to me and say they're worried. They're worried about what the future has because anytime anyone who speaks up who's white, it's a problem... Again, I don't think it's racism, it's racial resentment."
...Pass the popcorn, Nahanni.
Add another one to the list that is surprised when the MSM treats them the same way Republicans are treated.
ReplyDelete1. Hillery
2. Bill
3. Juan Williams
4. Geraldine Ferraro
Not such fun, exciting, inovative reporting now, is it guys? LOL
Some might call this stunt 'better late than never' and start applauding.
ReplyDeleteI call it, 'too little, too late.'
She had her chance at any time across the last three decades to see what her Party has done to America. And all this time she was part of the problem, not part of the solution.
/passes GP the popcorn...
ReplyDeleteShe is right.
You will note, GP, that the two groups that get the most preferential treatment out the moonbats are the black race warriors/groups who are aligned with the Democratic party and Islamofascists. You will note also it is not about the color of their skin but their ideology. A fine example of this is how the Democrats, their nutroots and the MSM treat people like Condi Rice and Clarence Thomas in comparison to "Rev.'s" Jeremiah, Jessie and Al. Condi and Clarence refuse to play the game and are treated like "race traitors" by the Democrat race warriors.
Furthermore the more the Obamaniacs toss the race card the greater the backlash will be. They have not quite figured out yet that screeching "racist" at anyone and everyone who does not goose step along with the Obamamessiah only serves to put their own racism, hypocrisy and the agenda behind it in the spotlight.
The one "bright spot" in all this is that for all intents and purposes the use of the race card as a means of stifling people is over. Another possible bright spot in all this will be the end of affirmative action and that quagmire trillion dollar a year "war on poverty" depending on just how far the Democratic race warriors push people.
This is getting funny. While it happens to the GOP all the time, it's not supposed to happen to the tried and true Democrat Socialsits.
ReplyDeleteBecoming a gooey mess. Racism or feminism, which will win the cage match.
Yes...
ReplyDeleteDems waking up now to some issues long "unknown" to them. Hmmm, NOT! The monster chickens without heads they created have "come home to roost!"
They've over-played the race card for to long, creating an entire industry that thrives on hate by color. Now some cry foul after all these years of angry rhetoric against normal every day people that are not racist and simply want to live in peace, without every single special interest group being funnneled free money.
There were serious problems in the past which this nation faced. But there are racist on both sides. And the Democrats have created a race-baiting free market system of hatred, supported by government subsidies. One good thing that has happened is for resentment and hatred to come out after all these years thru a false ideology, built upon the past. Many of the black leaders on the Democrat side are living in the past.
Whereas Republicans have some of the most positive blacks going forward in the nation who persevere and succeed without all the vitriol and hatred attached to them.
People like Wright thrive on bitterness and vengence. Two things he must know the Bible teaches against. Instead of going forward as any preacher knows they should loving their neighbors of all colors. They hold the people back in agonizing denial that in America anyone can make it today. And they create fake monstors of fear and loathing to the people they teach.
To many blacks, hispanics, asians and people of all backgrounds are some of the most successful people in the world here. There is no more denying this. The only people holding themselves back today in this country need to look in the mirror. It all is how much you want it and what your priorities are today. Not about color, not about religion, but it does seem to become more and more about politics.
It is time Democrat sponsored divisiveness end, as well as identity-victim politics.
I hope McCain keeps going into areas like Selma, AL. He should roll into Baton Rouge with the great new Republican governor in Louisiana. Who himself is a minority of legal immigrants. Who is working hard to turn Louisiana around from the corrupt Democrat politics of old into a new, vibrant state that rejects corruption and stops playing woe is me victimology based upon color.
They need to get the young Governor from La. to have a prominent speech for the RNC. He can run circles around Obama. He is not angry, bitter, or blaming people of any color. He is young, positive and attracts young people to do good work in life. He does not act like an arrogant over-paid zealot. He does not whine. He rolls his sleeves up and "gets her done." And he does not do it by inflating Marxist rhetoric against different people.
What a breath of fresh air in comparison to all the pretenders on the Democrat side!
Nahanni,
ReplyDeleteRemember how they treated Michael Steele? How disgusting that was to see such racism and childish like rants. All because he was a black man running as a Republican candidate.
Then the Democrats canceled FOX News/Black Caucus debate this year! The Democrats! They did not want to offer a venue where blacks and Fox could be seen together.
How calculatingly evil. Yet the Republicans went on every network, even the clowns at the Obama pimping peacock station.
How petty and pathetic. Then they turn viciously and attack Republicans after their own hypocritical actions.
Yes... them "chickens are coming home to roost" in their own party. And it is about time.
Oh, don't just pass the popcorn. That's opportunity knocking, in heels and hose.
ReplyDeleteSo, give her a big smile, offer her a cup of coffee, and ask her what else the two of you can agree on. That could turn into a long conversation.

Is there Sexism?
ReplyDeleteQuestion - How in the world did a woman from Illinois and Arkasas, whose greatest accomplishment was that she served on the board at Walmart, ever get elected Senator from NY?
Answer - she rode her husband's coat-tails.
Question - What does a junior senator do when she has no real resume of her own to pad her accomplishments?
Answer - she claims credit for her husband's accomplishments.
Question - What should a woman do when her husband embarasses her by screwing around with the hired help?
Answer - Boys will be boys. It's no big deal. Everyone does it.
Question - Should the press consider the criminal past of a presidential candidates spuse?
Answer - Not if it's perjury.
The only sexism in this campaign is that HRC gets a free ride.

BG, thanks for the links.
ReplyDeleteThe Evelyn Pringle link is quite interesting review of the trial so far in Chi-town.
What I do not understand is why indictments have not been passed down yet against Obama for his pay-to-play schemes and health care fraud appointments.
What sleezy politics.
sex·ism (skszm)
ReplyDeleten.
1. Discrimination based on gender, especially discrimination against women.
2. Attitudes, conditions, or behaviors that promote stereotyping of social roles based on gender.
Anonymous @8:44 am - what does sexism have to do with all your questions anyhow? If you actually think Hillary got a free ride because of her husband, then tell me what this has to do with her being a woman?
Maybe you haven't clued in yet, but women do not get a free ride unless they are giving it.

ReplyDeleteOT;
ReplyDeletean interesting sidelight is a possible medical explanation for Bill's off-the-rails-ness of late (the last few years). His '04 bypass heart surgery probably caused the VERY frequent side-effects of multiple micro-strokes, reducing temper control and IQ by largish margins. (The bypass machines introduce debris into the blood that lodges in tiny brain capillaries, blocking them.)
