Obama Cans Advisor For Holding Talks With Hamas Terrorists

No wonder Hamas supports Obama?
One of Obama's advisors held several meetings with the Palestinian terrorist organization:

One of Barack Obama’s Middle East policy advisers disclosed today that he had held meetings with the militant Palestinian group Hamas - prompting the likely Democratic nominee to sever all links with him.

Robert Malley told The Times he had regularly been in contact with Hamas, which controls Gaza but is listed by the US State Department as a terrorist organisation. Such talks, he stressed, were related to his work for a conflict resolution think tank and had no connection with his position on Mr Obama's Middle East advisory council.

“I’ve never hidden the fact that in my job with the International Crisis Group I meet all kinds of people,” he added.
Ace of Spades has more on the Malley's International Crisis Group.

Earlier Friday, Hamas terrorists killed an Israeli man and father of four after firing a barrage of rockets into southern Israel.

Now, Wasn't Barack Obama just whining about being associated with Hamas, yesterday?

UPDATE: Paul at Power Line notes that Malley like several other of Obama's advisers, oozes hostility towards Israel and sympathy for its enemies and that the Obama campaign is attempting to downplay Malley's role.

  1. this is BS. read Obama's statement about Lebanon, compare it with Assad's. The similarity is interesting.

  2. Of course it is, jeha.

Obama is a great supporter of Islamofascism. Obama shares the same goals as they do-the destruction of the United States, Israel and western civilization.

    Samantha Power
    Robert Malley

    Is there a pattern here?

like i said in a previous post.. this was not unknown to Obama.. ie:

Hamas terrorists make 2008 U.S. presidential pick [4/14/08]

    excerpt:

[WND reported in January that Robert Malley, an Obama foreign policy adviser, has penned numerous opinion articles, many of them co-written with a former adviser to the late Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat, petitioning for dialogue with Hamas and blasting Israel for policies he says harm the Palestinian cause.]

as you can all read for yourselves.. with the amount of exposure this man has received (ala: Ayers, etc).. it's a lose lose situation for Obama, because there is no way in he-hockeysticks Obama didn't know what the man was all about or what he was up to.. and if Obama wants to be president, there's no way he can deny knowing anything about him & still be a credible candidate.. but then again, we have Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Auchi, Odinga, etc, etc, etc, and the MSM is still treating him like the Messiah.. not to mention the scrubbing the net of anything negative in preparation of his coronation to boot..

it's been exposed, and is finally making the rounds.. fact is they can't hide it any longer..

so get ready for another "don't look here, look over there" speech, because Obama will not be answering questions, he never does..

nahanni, maybe you need to lay off the popcorn...first off, it may be that Malley took the initiative to break off all relations here to the campaign--loose relations that they were, and that Obama doesn't beg him to stay--that should be a welcome thing, as his clear denunciation of Wright, but no, you still impute to him the worst imaginable. - ER

  6. anonymous, are you an adult? Because it is beyond my comprehension how anyone could reach adulthood and believe the tripe you just said. Obama did not know about Malley's connections and sympathies to Hamas? Yeah, just like he sat in a pew for 20 years and never heard the hate spewed by the minister with the microphone in his hand. But then, when it became personal after Wright dissed Obama himself, Obama says he no longer is associated with his radical pastor. Yeah, and pigs fly.

Ben LaBolt of the Obama campaign explains "Rob Malley has, like hundreds of other "experts", provided "informal" advice to the campaign."

Perhaps we should demand a list of those hundreds of "experts" that is giving Obama advice. And if these people are "experts" why are they giving just "informal" advice?

We are supposed to vote for Obama because he claims superior judgement yet he is clueless about his own minister and his "expert" advisors?

If I were Hillary, I would have people digging in Obama's trash can TONIGHT.

    m. simon, yeah, you could say there is a pattern here. Now Obama's answer to Lebanon, which is about to blow straight to hell, is to "talk".

I am sure Baby Assad and that whack job in Iran have agreed to fund a voter drive to make sure the Obamanation is elected. They already know that it is Michelle Obama running the show and she hates this nation as much as they do.

Keep trying to spin it, hun! Spin it until you puke.

The truth remains the truth. And the truth is that Obama is a racist, Islamofascist loving Marxist and his goals are the same as theirs. The destruction of the United States (all 50 of them), Israel and western civilization.

Now go scurry back to the fever swamps along the river Denial in the "reality-based community", anonatard.

  8. So let me see if I get this Carter talks to Hamas - good. Obama adviser talks to Hamas bad.

This must mean Carter will not be advising Obama. What a relief.

Yet it is perfectly fine to hold talks with IDF terrorists.

Man, must be nice to be Israeli!

Murder, steal, destroy: all in a day's work for IDF terrorists AND the US walks around like their little lap dog.

Barack Obama's Middle East Expert [1/23/08]

    excerpt:

[That said, Robert Malley has a very interesting father.

His father Simon Malley was born to a Syrian family in Cairo and at an early age found his métier in political journalism. He participated in the wave of anti-imperialist and nationalist ideology that was sweeping the Third World. He wrote thousands of words in support of struggle against Western nations. In Paris, he founded the journal Afrique Asie; he and his magazine became advocates for "liberation" struggles throughout the world, particularly for the Palestinians.]

[Malley has seemingly followed in his father's footsteps: he represents the next generation of anti-Israel activism. Through his writings he has served as a willing propagandist, bending the truth (and more) to serve an agenda that is marked by anti-Israel bias; he heads a group of Middle East policy advisers for a think-tank funded (in part) by anti-Israel billionaire activist George Soros; and now is on the foreign policy staff of a leading Presidential contender.]

    lots more info @ link..

ironic how all of Obama's dubious connections connect to one another isn't it.. albeit would be a monumental task, i wish someone would make a "connect the Obama dots" map, as visuals have a way of pointing out the obvious that might otherwise be overlooked..

    The Tea Boy [5/11/08]

    excerpt:

[Yes, the problem with Lebanon is not the militia backed by Damascus and Tehran that who have squared off against almost every US ally in the Middle East. No, in the Obama worldview, the issue is about “the corrupt patronage system.” What is more corrupt than the issues that instigated the current crisis: Hezbollah's efforts to, a, build a state within a state and, b, undermine the sovereignty of the Lebanese government? And what is a more unfair distribution of services than an armed party at the service of foreign parties?

Obama's language is derived from those corners of the left that claim Hezbollah is only interested in winning the Shia a larger share of the political process. Never mind the guns, it's essentially a social welfare movement, with schools and clinics! – and its own foreign policy, intelligence services and terror apparatus, used at the regional, international and now domestic level. But the solution, says, Obama, channeling the man he fired for talking to Hamas, is diplomacy.]
