The gaffe master is now seeing dead people in his audience.
And, the Barack Obama Campaign actually posted video of this latest Obama gaffe on YouTube.
This time Barack Obama is seeing America's fallen heroes in his audience in New Mexico:
(First 10 seconds)
Spooky!
Barack Obama opens up his Memorial Day speech in Las Cruces, New Mexico:
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.Let's hope that he didn't see any fallen heroes in the audience!
Add, this to the growing list of Obama gaffes.
But... Although the video is posted on YouTube the gaffe was scrubbed from his website.
Here is the report on his speech today:
The Obama website scrubbed the "dead people in the audience" from his speech:
On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes, our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.Alakazam! No more dead people.
Power Line has more on Obama's shameful attacks on the Commander in Chief and attempts to politicize Memorial Day.

Kate adds: "Raising the dead- Is there nothing Obama can't do?"
Oh, this is good...
Barry Rubin explains: "Hey, he's from Chicago and no doubt he's expecting them to vote for him!"

UPDATE: (Tuesday) Tom Maguire has yet another Obama Campaign gaffe from yesterday.
And, Jules Crittenden has a "Sixth Sense" roundup.
So after he has this Bush Bashing Townhall Meeting ON MEMORIAL DAY he has the nerve to send his mouthpiece du jour out to bash McCain
ReplyDeleteFrom the AP
"For him to talk about dates for withdrawal, which basically is surrender in Iraq after we're succeeding so well is, I think, really inexcusable," said McCain, who has been to Iraq eight times, most recently in March.
Over the weekend, Sen. Lindsey Graham, one of McCain's top surrogates, laid the groundwork for McCain's criticism in a television interview in which he noted Obama's absence from Iraq and floated the idea that Obama and McCain should go together to be briefed by Gen. David Petraeus, the top U.S. commander in Iraq, and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
Asked whether he'd be willing to take such a trip, McCain told the AP: "Sure. It would be fine."
"I go back every few months because things are changing in Iraq," he said. McCain questioned whether Obama has ever been briefed by Petraeus. "I would also seize that opportunity to educate Senator Obama along the way."
Obama spokesman Bill Burton declined to respond directly to McCain.
"Senator Obama thinks Memorial Day is a day to honor our nation's veterans, not a day for political posturing," Burton said.
Firstly, The Jr Senator needs to get a clue about Memorial Day being specific to those who died in battle and why it differs from Veterans Day.
Secondly, To come out of a townhall meeting with planted questions about politics and say (this is)"not a day for political posturing" is brazenly duplicitous.
Yeah this Obama guy is crazy! Not only does he want to change the way America operates, implement a GI bill that actually HELPS veterans, and give health care options to everybody, he has the nerve to also bash George Bush who doesn't want to have proud war vets given a new set of rights and benefits!! What a jerk!

ReplyDeleteLeftists' absolute uniformity of expression is terrifying.
This type of adolescent, low-brow, sledgehammer sarcasm was pioneered by Michael Moore, and all his acolytes adopted it as their own.
All it took was one obese con man to start saying certain things a certain way, and tens of millions began parroting him word for word, letter for letter, belch for belch.
Can you imagine being so mindless that you base your actual self, your very being, on the phony posturing and blatherings of a millionaire entertainer who can't even control his own appetite?
Good lord. That's tragic.
Idiot Anon said, "... and give health care options to everybody..."
ReplyDeleteThus spaketh the wise anonymouse! Hmmm the wise anon who SCREAMS that the government is illegally wiretapping by merely accessing the billing records of conversations in which one side is a terrorist under investigation; however, they are AOK with the government having their medical records.
The wise anon believes that the same government who runs the DMV can run an efficient medical system.
The same wise anon who wants to keep the government out of the bed room wants socialized medicine to provide abortion on demand. Hmmm if government is supposed to stay out of the bedroom does that mean to get the abortion on demand a woman can never have sex in the bedroom.
Ahhh but trust the wise anon, they know all.
Just another anon putz.

ReplyDeleteAnonymous @ 9:26 PM..
why don't you try reading something other than MSM headlines.. here, try this, maybe you'll learn something maybe not, but at least you would have tried to educate yourself..

[The Bill contains so many domestic pet project add-ons that no single mainstream media report can even capture them all.
While the President might have passed the larger funding bill with only the education benefits tacked on, a veto now is certain.]

No wonder, then, that demagogues like Hugo Chavez have stepped into this vacuum."
Say Barry? Did you know that Chavez rose to power during the Clinton administration and was elected President of Venezuela in 1998, a full 2 years before Dubya was even elected?
I guess not...

this obviously didn't make the headlines either..

Both businesses, URS and Perini, have scored lucrative contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan in the last four years, and Blum has personally pocketed tens of millions of dollars off the deals his wife, along with her colleagues, so graciously approved.]

Actually not only does he see Dead People but apparently he's still in Oregon - perhaps I heard it wrong but I'd swear he says - "As we gather here under open skys we know that far beyond the Oregon Mountains..."
ReplyDeleteOK looked it up mountains near Las Cruces, the "Organ Mountains which surround Las Cruces" my bad... sure sounded like Oregon..
ReplyDeleteUh, that's not a gaffe. Thats a freudian slip of the tongue of a wish he has deep inside his commie mentored, hate-America heart.
ReplyDeleteanonymousie 9:26,
Propaganda works in North Korea. But not here. Crawl back to your Dear Leader.
Our President has done more for the troops than Clinton ever did plus he supported and arranged many legislative packages encouraging better deals for all our soldiers serving and retired.
Did you know Secreatary of Defense Robert Gates and all Four Chief of Staff were against the Democrat led bills anonymousie?
Why do you think Mr. Propaganda?
Because the Democrats were trying to sabotage our war efforts! You do not give away college paide passes in two years allowing everyone to leave before they served time. No nation in the world does this during a time of war.
Blooming idiots and worse, traitors and saboteurs to our nations defense during a time of war.
Keep chowing down on the MSM propaganda machine leftist.
Well, to be fair, Obama's site has the speech as prepared, which means that Obama thought he would "wing it" to get in a little mention of the soldiers sitting there in front of him.
ReplyDeleteI guess George Bush isn't the only one who gets into trouble when he starts going off-script...

ReplyDeleteObama is beginning to remind me of a line from the miniseries "I, Claudius".
"Claudius could ruin the empire simply by walking through it".
That being said...
His gaffes must be making the Dem leadership cringe. They are having nightmares about how he will do in an unscripted, no teleprompter debates. McCain will clean his clock.
The recent polls of registered Democrats showing that as time goes on even more of them do not want Hillary to drop out are indicative of the fact that the rank and file are seeing Obama for what he truly is and are having buyers remorse. I don't think that even a "death bed" anointment from Teddy Kennedy at the convention will change this.
I still do not think that Obama will get the nomination. He would not if the people who run the Democratic party lived in the real world. But the people who run the Democratic party do not live in the real world, they live in the "reality-based community" along with all the whackjobs at PuffHo, Kos and DU. It is truly a party of the insane with the inmates running the asylum.
They may still ram him through and get him nominated but at great cost. It will split the party-it is already badly split at all levels. They may still think they can get him elected by using the NSDAP play book along with their MSM whores. It won't work. Their MSM propaganda wing is no longer the gatekeepers of information and one has to control the flow of information in order to get Obama elected. Rioting, threats of violence and intimidation will only serve to turn even more people off to the Obamamessiah.
My electoral college wargame holds steady from last week.
McCain wins with 312 electoral votes.
The more I listen and read about Obama the more I see how ignorant (or just plain stupid) Obama is about the U.S., the world, and just most everything.
ReplyDeleteHe just seems to make it up as he goes along. An empty suit with nothing there.
In debates with McCain I would think that McCain would do quite well.
Are these "fallen heros" 'Cole Sear'-ed into his memory ? LOL
ReplyDeleteFolks - I know this won't make a difference since most people here don't really care for logic, but it seems pretty obvious that he is talking about those in the audience who were wounded in battle. Now, if you don't believe they should be considered part of the "fallen", that is another debate.
ReplyDeleteOK Anonymous, please supply a link to anybody using "fallen heroes" to mean anything other than those heroes who have died.
ReplyDelete>>>Folks - I know this won't make a difference since most people here don't really care for logic, but it seems pretty obvious that he is talking about those in the audience who were wounded in battle.
ReplyDeleteOh that you "logical" Libturds would have been so magnanimous about Bush's gaffes as you expect us to be about Barack's Obamaisms. You opened up that can of worms years ago, starting with Dan Quayle, and we are going to milk it for all it's worth with Obama. And by the looks of it so far, he's going to keep us pretty busy.

I'll buy that, since Obama's coalition has been padding the casualties lists with wounded and civilian terror fatalities to convey more gruesome raw numbers out of context, and without distinction, for years now.

Not to mention demagogues like Barack Obama.
that he is talking about those in the audience who were wounded in battle. Now, if you don't believe they should be considered part of the "fallen", that is another debate.
ReplyDeleteWe have our own day for that, its known as "Veterans Day". Ya see, people don't normally memorialize living beings...it sort of defeats the purpose of 'preserving the memory' when the subject is still walking around.
You do understand that logic, right?
Yeah. That was a dumb thing for Obama to say. It appears that he was talking about seeing "heroes" in the audience but it's hard to separate the two words: fallen and heroes.
ReplyDeleteBut he's right about the need to give veterans appropriate benefits. It would be nice if we could support the troops like that.
As gaffes go, this is pretty thin stuff.
ReplyDeleteYou could find at least a dozen Bush example's of Bush's fractured english to any one of Obama's.
And just wait until Grandpa McCain has a few more senior's moments on the campaign trail.
We all know he meant heroes and not fallen heroes that were in the audience. Unfortunately, that type of mistake could have dire consequences when he's having those 'kiss butt' talks with America's enemies.
ReplyDeleteHow come his white grandmother is a "typical white person," but his white grandfather is some kind of war hero he keeps referring to, like it has any real reflection as to what he thinks of those typical white people. Perhaps he respects his grandfather more than his grandmother because he is male and not female.
We all know that Obama is an idiot. It's very likely that he actually doesn't know what memorial day means.
ReplyDeleteYes, his speeches 'inspire' many but his words are without substance. Take his teleprompter away and all you have left is a stumbling fool
Even better, now the original video is no longer available on youtube. Who wants to bet it was removed at the request of the Obama campaign?
ReplyDeleteThis Obama as an idiot meme is starting to take. We are starting to see it everywhere. This is beginning to define him. That and his nasty mouth.
ReplyDeleteC'mon, nitpickers, give al-Obama a break here. He was talking about Rev. Wright, Bill Clinton, and Jimmuh Carter. They were actually sitting in the front row of the audience...
