They can "Amen" all they want, but the only one they are "Amening" to are themselves, because the Lord certainly does not condone the hating of other brothers in Christ and holding others responsible for the sins of those that went before them. The real issue about “Obama’s Church” is that there is vast number of whites in the US who never owned slaves, whose ancestors never owned slaves, whose ancestors did not even come to the US until long after slavery had been abolished, who have never discriminated against blacks, who think blacks are equal under the law, who have no issues with blacks, and have even been discriminated against in favor of blacks (victims of so-called “affirmative action”) who do not realize that a very large of number of blacks, including even highly educated, multi-millionaire blacks who are graduates of Columbia, Princeton and Harvard Law School, who do have an issue with the above described whites and which blacks feel the above described whites owe them big time for the wrongs that the above group of blacks perceives were committed against them or other blacks by whites, even though not the above group of whites.

Is there any reason this man is still a priest? He sits there in church berating another human being in politics no less, cussing and mocking, griping and condemning all. This is not the first time.
He should be sent to a monastary in the desert to humble himself on bread and butter.
There should be outrage, not just by the politicians, but by all Christians.

Christ certainly was not speaking thru him. False accusations, mocking, scoffing flow from his tongue like a serpent. He is not leading people to Christ. He is doing the opposite, blinding them. Leading them into a pit of hatred and bitterness. Exactly opposite of what Christ and the disciples taught in how to live in this world.

We can also put the Rev. Wright, Otis Moss and father Pfleger in their proper religious context. Assuming that any of them ever actually read the Bible, they can look up and re-read Matthew 22:1-14. Here it is in the New King James version, quoted in full because too many deliberately ignorant preachers like to skip around without dealing with the whole story:

America has been throwing a party, inviting all its citizens, adjusting its laws to make them welcome, showing generosity and concern for all. Wright and Moss and Pfleger have rejected the invitation.
Naturally, the good people of this country, who have examined their own prejudices, listened to the criticism of their government and responded with seismic changes to all levels of our government, are revolted by this display from Trinity Church.
We gave these fools the tools to help their people, and instead, they have denied the tools exist, and so have held their people back. For shame.

One would think that a priest would know enough to realize that the question of whether his words were consistent with the life and message of Christ is a bit more important than whether they were consistent with the life and words of any politician. The fact that Mr. Pfleger apparently doesn't is unfortunate both for himself and any soul unfortunate enough to be a part of his congregation. ^_^;
i don't ever want to be "judged" by people who i may see in church or worship with.

by the time he was stepping up top the plate to take on a Presidential race he was gone from that place anyway.
it's sad cause people Preach about Policy in Church when it should be about Love. America is not Perfect and made mistakes.
