Do you suppose the most liberal senator is trying to disguise his radical past of opposing the manufacture, sale and possession of hand guns to appear more moderate?

Here is a copy of a questionaire signed by Barack Obama that was submitted to an Illinois voter's group where he recorded his antigun agenda, via The Politico:

From the answers on the questionaire it is clear that the most liberal senator is not the moderate he wants to portray to the American public.
...By a long shot.
More... And, Obama voted 4 times to allow criminal charges against homeowners who defended their homes and property with a gun.
He's definitely not the person he wants you to believe he is.

i think it might be a side effect of the two-party system and our three branches with a bicameral legislature:
the parties need to be moderate to win.
i europe - with their multi-party proportional systems, there's no reason to moderate; hence their socialists call themselves what they are.
actually, europe wo0uld be better off if they chucked their system and adopted ours.
and if the whole world got rid of and got beyond socialism.

In the second clip you will notice how Obama said "illegal handguns" when the ban clearly applies to all handguns.
The thing about Obama is that he is not a very good liar.
No one actually believes that he is for the rights of gun owners.
I bet it won't be long before we see Obama wearing a checkered flannel jacket holding a shotgun and a dead duck talking about his love for hunting.
All of these flip flops amount to a staggering attempt to hornswoggle the American people into thinking Obama is something that he is not.
Unfortunately, Obama will throw so much chaff into the political winds these next 129 days that it will be next to impossible for the casual observer who votes but isn't addicted to the news to figure out who and what he is.
McCain will be massively outspent and Obama will limit debates to a minimum.
It's going to be a mess!

I would love someone to ask Obama why, given that he ALWAYS thought the DC Gun ban unconstitutional and WHOLEHEARTEDLY agrees with its being overturned, he voted against two of the five justices that made that decision possible? Further, ask him if, had he been in the Senate at the time, he would have voted for or against Justices Thomas and Scalia?
By my count, he voted, or would have voted, that at least four of the five justices he now sides with were unqualified for the SCOTUS.
BHO is a waffler who needs a John "I-was-for-it-before-I was against-it" Kerry moment so he is branded as a flip-flopper that he is.
