gee, probably not, but every time i hear about a blogger being charged, arrested, or whatever.. i can't help but wonder if Google aided & abetted in any way via their China deal (rat on dissidents)..

In another blow against freedom of speech on the Internet, Fox News is reporting that Google has taken the measure of de-listing the work of an anti-UN blogger named Matthew Lee. For several years, Lee has run the Inner City Press, a small news/opinion site that is focused on criticizing the United Nations. But since Google has teamed up with the UN on recent initiatives, Google has found that Lee's criticism is too much for them to handle. (there is more)
there is a lot of FoS "stifling" via the subtle changing of laws to accommodate Muslims in the US, Canada, and all over Europe as well..
in particular, schools & workplaces have been "accommodating" Muslims under the threat of being sued, which is the main tool in the CAIR et al war chest (either by launching or threatening lawsuits, ie: the flying Imams)..
not to mention certain words or terminologies no longer being permisable be it by the press, the courts, or the military.. ie: "terrorist"..
i have no idea what Google (& others) is doing or not doing, but i do know a lot of info has been & is being scrubbed from the net, not to mention YT.. and if an investigation is not already under way, perhaps those with knowledge should start one.. like the MSM would reveal the findings?? hah!!
oh, i almost forgot.. many major organizations, such as the "free" press, and i believe the DOS et al as well, have Muslim "counselors" who are more or less, "censoring" what is appropriate / inappropriate language usage in relation to "Muslim Sensitivities", gah!!

I don't think we've seen any blogger or individual actually sentenced to prison for, "inciting religious hatred" in this country yet...

I though concur with your opinion regarding political correctness...
I also have a real problem with the, "hate crimes" legislation which I believe is an extension of political correctness...
Your comment regarding, 'google' is also something I wonder about...
Besides China, where else has those liberals calling the shots at Google have agreed to help with the persecution of free speech?
