The speech was scheduled for 12:00 Noon EST.
** But, at 12:15 PM EST, Hillary has yet to leave her home- a 15 minute ride to where she will give her speech.
Hillary Clinton had more votes than Barack Obama during the primary season but Democratic elites chose Far Left inexperienced Barack Obama who has a Marxist-Islamic background as their candidate.
** Hillary is out of the house at 11:30 PM EST.
Here's one for the memory books...
The RNC posted a "best of" Hillary vs. Obama primary campaign moments.
I hear there is a sale on this book today:

12:45 EST-- Hillary takes the stage.
Obama Gets Booed!!!
Mark Hemingway who was at the event today says, "I don't know if this really came across on TV but there was a surprisingly audible number of boos every time Obama was mentioned."
Yes, it was obvious, Mark.
Wow! Who thought this day would ever come.
Hillary talks about the barriers to women.
Hillary talks about the remarkable gains of women because of her campaign.
"If we can blast 50 women into speech- We can launch a woman into the White House!"
Regardless, she gives Obama a great plug!
Hillary wants to give every child a chance to succeed.
What's holding them back now?
Hillary throws in this jab at the DNC during her speech:
During those 40 years, our country has voted 10 times for president. Democrats won only three of those times, and the man who won two of those elections is with us today. In other words-- You morons picked the wrong candidate.
Just in case anyone missed it she said it again at the end of her speech:
This is now our time to do all that we can to make sure that, in this election, we add another Democratic president to that very small list of the last 40 years and that we take back our country and once again move with progress and commitment to the future.* * * * *
Democrat Taylor Marsh wonders-- "How'd She Lose to This Guy?"
CNN has Obama's response to the news:
"Obviously, I am thrilled and honored to have Sen. Clinton's support. But more than that, I honor her today for the valiant and historic campaign she has run. She shattered barriers on behalf of my daughters and women everywhere, who now know that there are no limits to their dreams. And she inspired millions with her strength, courage and unyielding commitment to the cause of working Americans."

ReplyDeleteIf only we never had to look at your cankled overbitting self ever again.
Here is a suggestion, from now on say what you said the day after 9-11.... NOTHING.
Make no mistake, that speech was all about Hillary - and her campaign was suspended, not ended.

ReplyDelete"Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side. While Barack Hussein Obama's father was from Kenya, his father's family was mainly Arabs. Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate even states he's Arab, not African Negro)."
Hat Tip to typos.....
Joanne, it must be scary up there, having to watch this going on and not having any input. I get the same feeling down here. :D
ReplyDelete/passes GP the popcorn....
ReplyDeleteThis is not surprising especially after their private meeting. From what I gather from someone who is in a position to know Obama did offer Hillary the VP slot.
She replied with a very terse thanks but no thanks.
It ain't over yet and Obama now knows it. So The obama campaign and the DNC are doing their best to pimp slap Hillary and her people into line. I hate to break it to him but all that is going to do is piss them off even more.
I bet none of them are sleeping well right now.
She may lose the nomination, but she could also win back what's left of the party after John McCain runs up the middle.

Mike H. - I get in my ten cents worth, which ain't worth what it used to be. I can only figure God must have America in his sights, and it is going to hurt.
