A group of persons accidentally found a 100-year-old rare animal, according to deputy rector of Duhuk University for scientific affairs on Tuesday.Does it breathe fire?
"The animal, found accidentally this week in Bajiel region in Aqra district, western Duhuk, is unlike any other animal. It feeds on reptiles and bugs," Hassan Amin told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI).
"After watching the short movie made by a group of ordinary persons, we can say that the extinct animal is more than 100 years-old and is related to the Dragon family," Amin explained.
"We have discussed the issue with two specialized centers in Germany and Britain to know more details about this animal, which was discovered in the country for the first time," he noted.
Sweet, maybe they should sell it on eBay.

100 year-old animal denotes that it is still alive.

Hey, Saudi Arabia is still arresting, trying and condemning people for practicting witchcraft. I've never been quite sure what the Muslim idea of witchcraft is, though, since I have a feeling it involves things like sending invisible voices through the air where you can then see them on your evil cell phone.

"The Dragon family" is a family of lizards-- you probably have seen them, frilled lizards which are also called Frilled Dragons, Bearded Dragon lizards? An Australian Frilled Dragon Lizard was a secondary character in The Rescuers Down Under.....
Agamidae is the proper, Latin name for the family.
