Islamophobic Media Obsesses Over Obama's Religion
This is starting to sound a little Islamophobic...
Don't look now but here comes another article defending Barack Obama against those nasty "radical" Muslim rumors. It must be great to be a Democrat-- all of this free campaigning for you from the liberal media. It's going to get good when they start trying to explain Reverend Wright.
Today, the Washington Post again reported on Obama's Muslim background- "In Flag City USA, False Obama Rumors Are Flying" -after the important piece on Saturday on the Googling genius, Danielle Allen. The WaPo again tries to nail down those "radical" Muslim rumors once and for all. If they really were serious about these rumors they may want to send a reported to talk with Muammar Gaddafi in Libya. This friend of Louis Farrakhan and Jeremiah Wright insists Obama is a Muslim, too.
Libyan dictator Mu'ammar Al-Qadhafi this month threw his support behind Obama saying that--
Obama should be proud of his Muslim heritage:
Gaddafi said the whole Arab world is ready to throw their financial support behind this Muslim candidate. MEMRI and LiveLeak have the video of Gaddafi's Obama endorsement.
Maybe Gaddafi could nail down all of these internet rumors for the investigators at the Washington Post. It would be interesting to read what he has to say about the "Muslim Obama." And, maybe they could kill two birds with one stone and ask him about Jeremiah Wright while they're there.
Obama must be really tanking in the polls with those white hicks in the sticks.

Out here in the sticks, us hicks are still wondering if BO was born American. His 'fake but accurate' birth certificate doesn't impress us. Maybe he got it from Mary Mapes.

I'm glad you caught this. That "Flag City" article is on page 1, with another big article GOP Sharpens Attacks on Obama on page A4. There's a definite effort to try to link the two.
Do you feel mischaracterized? You should. This article is aimed at you.
The Washington Post is attempting to deflect the real, reasonable concerns of American citizens including Democrats like me, by deliberately getting them wrong.
We have an unvetted, thinly qualified Democratic candidate with disturbing, radical and criminal connections, a campaign that regularly contradicts its own candidate's promises, a series of opportunistic, poorly explained policy reversals, and a cult-of-personality advertising campaign.
The Washington Post is denigrating those real issues and facts by focusing only on the reliably loony fringe and trying to pin the views of the loonies on the rest of us.

They have taken a story that was limited to internet users and put the idea into the head of newspaper readers.
Liberal bloggers are writing that "these people will believe anything", ignoring the huge, and I mean huge part of their base that watched two planes crash into the twin towers, but still think the Bush administration brought down the twin towers in an "inside job".

The problem for the Dems and the MSM is that they have run out of lipstick, and it is way too early for them to have run out. The reality is beginning to sink in to their "educated and intelligent" brains that there is no way they can "sell" Obama to anyone who isn't already worshiping him. So they are now falling back on trying to intimidate people into it by tossing the race card like ninja throwing stars and variation #78435597 of "it is a Rovian Rethuglican conspiracy". You can already see them ramping up their next phase of their attack campaign which will be their attempt to destroy John McCain which will have the opposite effect that they had hoped for-it will blowback on them.
Memo to the Democrats and the MSM:
You are finding out that there is not enough lipstick in the world to cover up what Obama is-a racist, America hating, Islamofascist loving Marxist.
Mankind's most important sense is the sense of smell and you are also finding out that there not enough perfume in the world that can cover up the stench that emanates from Obama's stated policies. His attempts to waffle and flip flop away from them to try to make himself more "palatable" are contemptuous and only serve to shine a spotlight on them.
You simply can not handle the fact that all of us "redneck racist morons" are not as stupid as you think we are. Your sneering contempt for all of us who actually live in the real world and not your gated "reality-based community" of the mind only serves to harden our skins against anything that you spew forth.
Here is a little item I found last week that will help "edumacate" you as to what you are up against.

Then again, this could be like the scene from "Enemy of the State" with Barry hiding under the table while all his enemies, government and organized crime, kill each other off. Barry's use of The Bus as a weapon of mass destruction compares only with Ray "Chocolate City" Nagin's, whom I endorse for VP on the Democratic ticket.
Here at the southern-most end of The Appalachian Trail, guns are still loaded, Bibles are still warm from the reading, the children are all engaged in productive and self-sufficient activities. Neighbors are helping neighbors with storm cleanup. One neighbor, VP of our homeowner's association, will drop by to discuss politics. She's running for the state legislature this year on the Republican ticket. Did I mention, she's black? I guess that matters to some people like Democrats because they talk about it so much. My friends of cocoa-hue are not so wrapped up in their blackiness, but are involved in their humanity. Liberalism is a character flaw. Obama and his following are dangerously flawed.
I'm beginning to wonder if one of the quieter results of this year will be FINALLY breaking the back of lockstep Jewish support for the Democratic Party. The state of Israel has never ever EVER had a better friend in the White House than George W. Bush, and 75% of American Jews who voted in 2004 wanted to replace him with John Kerry. WTF??
But I gotta wonder just how many Jews will vote for the (assumed) Democratic nominee come November. If only 50% did, it would be a political earthquake. But I'm having trouble believing even a quarter of them would at this rate.
I'm not Jewish, so I'm just observing, but those who are, please do chime in.

I'm more concerned about Obama's ecumenical, "social gospel," liberation theology (black, Catholic, other), Religious Left ties, since we know those for fact.
