McCain Should Challenge Obama to a Hike Across the Grand Canyon
McCain did it in 2006 in 100 degree heat. This summer, Senator McCain is planning on doing it again with his two sons, Jack and Jimmy. He ought to challenge Obama to hike with him.
I actually like this idea, because (1) one thing I don't like about Obama is his "practical atheist" worldview, despite his self-identification as a Christian, and seeing the Grand Canyon can in some prompt one to consider the Creator (something good for both of them), (2) if the years of smoking have taken their toll on Obama's lungs, such a hike would remind him of why he needs to keep at it to stay off the cigs.
Obama couldn't handle going down the first 1,000 feet. The park service would have to bring him back up on a donkey, which would be rather apropos.
