Change! The Obama Campaign decided to spruce up that old drab presidential seal from 1880 and released their own special version today:
The Pooh version did not make the cut this year:
UPDATE: The Weekly Standard Blog discovered that the Obama Campaign is breaking the law with their reproduction.

does it matter? i mean once he's elected "we the people" will be "we the sheeple".. no need for a US seal with the Obams Savior running the world..

can't help but get an ominous feeling every time something goes "poof".. and it grows stronger as more & more article's etc.. "disappear".. because what it tells me is, the mass brainwashing has switched into full gear.. :(

So Obama's new ad, the first of the general election, "cites Public Law 110-181 when he talks about his efforts to extend 'health care for wounded troops who'd been neglected.'" The problem? Obama never showed up to the vote. He was actually too busy campaigning to make it back to Washington to vote for the bill, but wants the American people to think he deserves the credit. Sounds a lot like the 2005 Energy Bill, which Obama has the gall to attack John McCain on even though the junior senator from Illinois voted for it and McCain voted against it.

I doubt it'ss truly illegal, since the emblem is clearly not any of the seals mentioned in the statute (though it made to resemble them. The color scheme alone would invalidate the arguement.
