But seriously, how relevant is any of this to the campaign? Obama saw his biological father once after the age of 2 and was not raised by him. The media almost never mentions McCain's first wife or his infidelity, even though these things are more relevant to McCain's actual character than something Obama's father did.
And I said the same thing when people raised questions about Arnold Schwarzenegger's father during the CA gubernatorial election.

In the article referenced above, he questions whether they might have gotten married because his mother was pregnant, but he doesn't seem to question whether they were married. There are questions raised as to whether Obama Sr.'s first marriage was legal.
Again, though, why does it matter? Do you think we shouldn't vote for someone because their parents weren't married?
Also, as for the contention that the media doesn't talk about this stuff--the article above was in Time magazine. Can't get much more mainstream than that.

How odd that Obama would chose a church equally as radical as any Islamic mosque in Saudi Arabia. He even states, in his book, that he was warned by other SouthSide black ministers, to stay away from Wright because Wright was toooo radical.

They just don't like that fact that anyone from anywhere can make a false accusation about them and the CPS will automatically take their children away with the only recourse is a costly lawsuit against the state to get their kids back and restore their reputation. In this case the state didn't even bother to investigate whether or not the "tipster"'s claims were legit or if that person is just some whack job Obama supporter from Colorado that only knows about it from watching 20/20 and couldn't point to the location of that ranch on a map.
In the end the LLL's in Austin who control CPS in Texas are going to pay dearly for their actions. They will lose their job, and then they are going to get the pantsuits sued off of them.

I also have many friends from Syria, Lebanon, Egypt and Jordon. I can tell you right now that not a one of them supports Obama. They know what an Islamofascist when they see one.
As for having to live next to Democrats I don't have much to worry about there. You see, people who move down here to get away from the shit holes their states have been turned into by the Democrats do not stay Democrats for very long. Their reaction is alot like when Gandalf cast Saruman out of Theoden. Their eyes open and they realize they had been living in a nightmare and are now finally breathing the air of freedom. I have seen this happen time and again. In the early 80's it was the people from Michigan that moved here. In the late 90's it was Silicon Valley refugees. Now I am seeing alot of plates from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington state, Michigan (again), California, Ohio and Massachusetts here in places where no tourist or someone who is just passing through should be. My new next door neighbors are from California.

The one true God is dead, long live Marxist "Social Justice." A term gags individuals with brains. What is social justice? That depends upon communist and marxist like Ayers and Obama respectively.
Obama, while giving a speech at graduation for Wellesley stated, "Individual Salvation cannot be accomplished without Colllective salvation." This is of course a big fat lie. This is the roots of Karl Marx - collectivism roots.
Any curious person would ask, what did he mean by "collective salvation?"
Christ never taught Marxist collective values. He taught directly opposite of Obama, that salvation is an individual decision. And only thru Christ can any individual be saved. Not thru Marx, not thru government handouts. Works are meaningless without Christ. Collective works are collecting dust in China, Cuba, Soviet Union. It is an individual that must make their own choices in life, not a tyrant, not a socialist, not a communist.
There is no such thing as "collective salvation" except thru Marxist purges and revolutions, largely bloody in the past, or thru corrupt elections and influence today like Chavez in Venezuela.
By opening the flood gates of illegal immigration, Che-Marxism has infiltrated our country in large migrations. The Che-Marxist views work with Obama's black marxist ideology. They go hand in hand with class warfare and identity race politics instead of character, virtues, and true salvation.
Christ teaches directly opposite of Obama. That a large part of the world "collectively" does not receive salvation. The false religion that Obama preaches believes we are saved collectively thru centralized government. And the church can be apart of this false "salvation" as long as it is a secular variety. The next question to ask, is who is in charge of the "collective salvation" government? Well, false messiah Obama, thats who and his new Secretary of Education - William Ayers. All children must hail the Communist Manifesto and the Little Red Book of Chairman Mao for revolutionary causes, oh and don't leave out Fidel and Che who rightly murder the capitalist pigs by pistol whippings and blowing their brains out. Obama thru "collected salvation" teaches hatred, envy, jealosy, and covetness of riches from others, instead of salvation by individual choice and in giving thru Christ, or walking humbly in Christ. He teaches the Marxist transfer of wealth from those that work and create opportunity to those that do nothing, whine, complain and blame everyone else in life for their problems.
Christ taught of individual choices to give to the poor in Christ. Christ did not advocate forcing people to give. They were to give freely of their own choice. For those that are poor, he told them to stop complaining and whining and be joyful for what you already have in life.
I grew up poor eating baloney sandwiches and collecting soda pop bottles. I worked summers for minimum wage, then did other jobs as I gained experience. We had no healthcare and didn't demand it either. We paid our way and didn't spend money on 50 inch TVs. It was a meager life, even worse during college. Yet I never thought about complaining and whining like Obama commands his blind followers to do. My friends all barely got by in college. But that was the lesson! Mowing large lawns in summer to me was a lesson! Sweating in 100 degree weather was a lesson! It taught me to desire to do better in life!

All the connections I've stated are true. Much of the MSM largely failed to report this during the Democrat nomination. But Bloggers, Conservatives have been reporting it since 2007. There may be some blowback by angry Clinton supporters now that Hillary is cutoff. The Media may very well begin to turn in some quarters.
But MSM, like the NYT has largely been silent on most of these issues and connections. One single article is hardly a mark for the socialist liberal Sulzbergers that are ruining the reputation of the Gray Lady. ReplyDeleteWhile it doesn't make the claim you say it does, I will agree that it was a questionable piece of journalism. Saying something is "prominent in [someone's] family tree" is a pretty nebulous concept that sounds like guilt-by-association to me.
And the first paragraph implies that there is some sort of contradiction with Romney criticizing something that was practiced by his great-father. I don't see any contradiction. I'm sure all of our ancestors did things we wouldn't endorse today. I found it distasteful when anyone of either party tried to make an issue of Romney's religion.

There are appropriate methods for shining the light of truth on the ugly subjects of OBama's Commie connections to people like William Ayers and Frank Davis. I know that many other groups will show him for the liar he is.

Call was made to an abuse hot line claiming abuse of minor's at the FLDS compound
Abuse hotline agency called TxCPS
TxCPS went to FLDS compound with six CPS workers (five counselors and one supervisor) and two Texas Rangers
CPS asked permission to interview children which was, at first, denied and then granted by the men of the FLDS compound
Children were interviewed by CPS workers until late in the night
The following day, CPS requested the removal of the children in Judge Walther's court based, NOT ON THE CALL, but on the information gained from the previous night's interview with the children.
Walther's granted the request and stated that ALL minor children be removed from the FLDS compound.
Now if you knew anything about the Texas statute that covers such reports of abuse, you would know that the purpose of the CPS is to verify abuse, not verify the legitmacy of the caller first. Perhaps you should bone up on the statues of the state you claim to live in.
The TxCPS and Judge Walther acted on the information gleened from the children themselves. Many of the children were not even aware who their "natural" parents were. That is the reason for the DNA tests.
You also seem to be a bit uninformed on the political scene in Texas. People who are moving here from loser Democratic states are NOT becoming Republicans because they bought new license plates with a space ship on them. Texas, as a political body, is becoming more and more blue, not red, and that is evident in areas like Houston, Dallas and Austin (which is the San Francisco of the Southwest). The San Antonio area is almost totally Democrat. That can be attributed to the high ratio of Hispanic residents in San Antonio.
There is a very good chance that Texas will go blue in the next presidential election, if, and it is a big IF, Obama can carry the Hispanic vote. While a Republican, I live in a large county that is solidly blue and you can't get elected here if you are not running on the Democratic ticket. That is why I am burdened with Hinajosa.
Tell your neighbors that Texas state law requires them to get new license plates within six months, otherwise they are in violation of Texas law and can be ticketed.

ReplyDelete1. Jawa has a nice run down on Rozita Swinton and the whole mess. Now if the CPS was on such "firm ground" then why have they been ordered to return those children to their parents? Why did CPS wait until after the raid to investigate the source of the complaint? I know the answer to that one, because they could not find anyone who matched the description of the caller who complained. This whole situation has stank from day one.
Apparently the courts think this all stinks, too. So do the hundreds of lawyers who showed up to defend the FLDS. I guarantee you they wouldn't have given up their lattes and gone to BFE Texas unless the smell of money was just too overpowering for them.
This whole case will get thrown out of court because the whole thing was based on a fraudulent complaint that CPS failed to investigate and confirm before going all "Janet Reno" and pulling a "Waco". When the courts toss it is when the civil suits will begin and the state of Texas will be paying out alot of money on them.

I am also fully aware that the Texas Rangers where in Colorado when she was required to appear in court for making a false call and the Rangers came back without her. Nor has there been any extradition order coming out of Texas for her arrest.
ReplyDeleteI am also aware of a thing called "eminent danger" when it comes to children and senior citizeens. Let me see if I can explain it to you this way.
A call comes into an abuse hot line saying that your aged mother, who lives in a nursing home, is being abused. The hot line is required to turn that over to Texas Family and Protective Services. TFPS is required to "immediately" investigate the possiblity of abuse, not the caller. That law came about when a man was reported to have been being abused in a central Texas nursing home, the TxFPS ignore the call, putting on the back burner, and the man died. It was a huge case and the lawyer who sued the nursing home is a personal friend of mine. He is also a Williamson County judge.
The TxCPS did what was required by law. They investigated the complaint by speaking with the children, one on one. After they had interviewed the children, and had opened a case, the call then became part of the case. But if you read the hearing transcripts, the call was not part of the TxCPS request to remove the children, the investigation, and the information gleened from the children themselves, was. Not only were the TxCPS investigators told at the gates of the FLDS compound that there was no Sarah there, TxCPS located four girls named Sarah on the compound during their initial investigation.
Also, hundreds of lawyers did not just show up smelling blood (money) in the water. Judge Walther herself contacted the Texas Bar Association, along with contacting Gregg Abbott's office, to have lawyers represent the children, PRO BONO. Each child, according to Texas law, is entitled to his/her own lawyer. These lawyers are called attorneys ad litum and they can either represent one child or the children from one family. The case that appeared before the Appeals Court and eventually the TxSC involved only 41 mothers, not all of them. And not all mothers have returned to the compound, chosing to stay in the shelters and homes that have been provided to them by TxCPS. The mothers that have remained outside the compound have had their children returned to them but they remain in shelters. An attorney I know, an Austin attorney, is representing, PRO BONO, one of the mothers who has REFUSED to return to the compound.
You also ignore the fact that not ALL of the children have been returned. There are at least five girls who have been kept in custody by the TxCPS because they either had children prior to reaching their 17th birthday or are pregnant. Those cases are still under investigation and the CPS has stated that charges (of child abuse) are pending.
Now, to the political demographic of Texas.
Texas is, and always has been, a yellow dog state. Texans are registered Democrats because their daddies, granddaddies, and greatgrandaddies were Democrats. They often vote for the Republican candidate because more often than not, those yellow dogs are moderate to very conservative. Since we are allowed to vote in a primary for either party, no matter our registration, they vote their party. General elections are different. Then, Tx. Dems vote their values.
San Antonio has moved solidly blue. I can only point to the loss by Henry Bonilla, who was the favorite to win. He was defeated by a Democrat. Tom DeLay's seat was also replaced by a Democrat. Now you can point to a poll where McCain is leading, but that is due to the Hispanic vote who do not care for Obama. But when push comes to shove, Hispanics, more than likely, will check the box "Democrat". Obama will carry Travis County, Bexar County and possible Harris County.
nahanni, I am very involved in Texas politics. I will be in Houston this weekend. And I can tell you, that the TxGOP is worried. And rightfully so. We lost a number of seats in '06 and will probably lose more this year. TxGOPers are not enthused about McCain, especially his "immigration" policy, and that will hurt him, especially since at the last TxGOP convention our immigration platform starts out "NO AMNESTY, NO WAY". You can't win without the base, and McCain doesn't have it in Texas. The last time I put stock in polls was when Henry Bonilla was leading the polls but lost the election. He was an asset to the TxGOP and is missed sorely.
Yes, many from Michigan moved to Texas in the 80's. But 1/4th of them? I don't think so. They moved to other southern states as well, especially southern states that were having a job boom. They moved to states like Florida, which also has no state income tax. Many moved here during that time frame from California, especially retired military, who did not want to pay state income tax and could sell their homes for $250,000. and buy the same home in Texas for half that.
Now, I never said that we should be as blue as New York so don't twist my words. We will never be as blue as northern states simply because most Texas Democrats are in the mold of the FDR, JFK Democrat; and are moderate to conservative by nature.
The only solidly red counties in Central Texas are Williamson, Fayette, and Hays is somewhere around 75% red. Comel, Burleson, Bastrop, Bexar, Travis, are solidly blue.
If McCain carries Texas, and that is also a big IF, it will be because Texas is not experiencing any kind of economic slowdown. Our unemployment rate is well below the national average, the housing market, while down, is no where near national averages (prices being down by perhaps 3-5%, not 25%) and even with 2 mil illegals in Texas, our job market continues to grow. People vote their wallets, and that is beneficial to McCain as we seem to be doing pretty well at this point.
So don't get your Hanes all in a wad. But don't be surprised if Obama carries Texas. Hillary won the Texas primary by over 100K votes but Obama took 2 more delegates. There was a lot of shady things going on during the Tx. caucases. In Limestone County, my own mother was denied admission to the county caucus by an Obama worker because she had a Hillary button on. She has said she will now vote McCain because she doesn't like Obama.
Now to Hinajosa; first I had Ron Paul, but yes, now I saddled with Hinajosa and Doggett. And I am not basing my opinion on local politics, I am basing my opinion on the move of the state as a whole from surveys done by the TxGOP. I am only slightly involved in local politics since more of the candidates in my district are Democrats. I am very involved in state politics being a delegate for the last three election cycles.

I never said the link had the actual divorce papers. But these lines very strongly imply that the author has seen the papers:

But again, who cares whether Obama's parents were legally married? Who cares whether his father was a bigamist? Who cares what religion they put on his birth certificate. His father was a Muslim. His stepfather was a Muslim. Nobody is hiding this fact. It would be completely unremarkable if his birth certificate said he was a Muslim.

it really doesn't matter to me either.. but the fact of the matter is that Obama himself has made these issues points of contention vs not saying anything or just telling the truth..
however, there is a logical reason they would have had to have been brought up sooner or later anyways.. to be blunt, Obama's dubious (to say the least) connections & his connections dubious (to again say the least) connections..
like a bicycle wheel BO is the hub, his connections the spokes & their connections merge where the rubber meets the road (so to speak)..
