Obama appeases Palestinians within hours of his talk to AIPAC.
Just hours after Barack Obama promised AIPAC that he would never allow Jerusalem to be divided, he backtracks after pressure from the Palestinians!
No wonder Hamas endorsed him.

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama amended his support for Israel's stance on Jerusalem on Thursday, saying Palestinians and Israelis had to negotiate the future of the holy city.This is unbelievable!
Palestinian leaders reacted with anger and dismay on Wednesday to Obama saying Jerusalem should be Israel's undivided capital.
"Well, obviously, it's going to be up to the parties to negotiate a range of these issues. And Jerusalem will be part of those negotiations," Obama told CNN when asked whether Palestinians had no future claim to the city...
In Washington on Wednesday, Obama told the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, a pro-Israel lobby group, that if elected president in November, he would work for peace with a Palestinian state alongside Israel.
"Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided," he told the lobby group.
Obama is already siding with the Palestinians over Israel.
Maybe he was reading those church bulletins after all.

ReplyDeleteHeard their concerns and the concerns of Zionists like myself as well about the implications of his words? -- perhaps; sincerely meant his original words when spoken? -- no reason to think not, but it's also possible that to him the words meant something different than to the average person; or even that he thought his words were sufficiently ambiguous to please everyone. We can't read his heart. He did choose his words terribly (probably the worst mistake I've seen him make), since the average underinformed person would take those words in a straightforward way not knowing that plans for Jerusalem over the years have used such language to mean something else as well. But he's corrected them, something that helps Israel, and we should be glad for that.
Who knew he was running for President of Palestine? Whew, that's a load off my mind! I mean, that's the only reason I can think of why he'd pander to Hamas.

A leftist ideology, history, etc. Their political choices are one of mistaken fear of the right - linking Hitler to the right. But in fact, he came out of a Socialist Party that renationalized business in favor of government control.
Many Jews lost religion long ago. They usually vote anti-right more than they do for a positive position. They connect a timeframe in history to modern times. That any rights should be granted because someone who supposedly "takes rights" away can eventually take away Jewish rights. It is a scar leftover with many still living and their progeny. Although they fail to realize it is the damning of Judeo-Christian values that led to the problems in the first place in Germany. From Karl Marx even, himself an atheist Jew.
And the program of eugenics, itself an atheistic program built upon supposed Darwinian principles of the fittest. Where Africans were seen as savages.
It was the loosening of moral fibers that caused an over reaction from the populace and a german psyche still smarting from defeat against the allies of WWI. It is a very complex issue. Obama claims he stands for "peace, peace" and this tickles the ears of those so horribly affected by the ravages of wars past.
Jews, Muslims, any immigrant group from the Middle East in favor of a bright future for that region are truly uninformed if they believe in Obama. Not only Jews, but anyone from that region for whatever misleading perceptions.
And frankly, any American. People, most people in todays modern society naturally do not want to fight evil. And are willing to overlook tyrants and oppression as long as their lives are stable. It is a historical fact too. Until the evil comes ashore. This explains the 1400 year history of war with the barbarians of Mohammed. This explains why the world turned its back on Rwanda under Billary and Sudan. The UN does nothing, neither do the rich cats in Davos, but talk. Their words are like peppered salve for the bleeding of innocents while nothing is done.
Therefore many still live and die under tyrants. And many that are free outside do not want to fight tyrants. One nation has fought these battles often alone. America. From Korea to Vietnam. After a while, the America people feeling alone in the world fighting it want to give up.
They want to go back to status quo under Democrat rule. Where Billy boy ran high hog in the oval office with Monica as Osama ordered the first attack against America in NYC 1993. The worlds problems were still "over there" and not our problem. They were local police issues. As well, only a few activist cared if millions died in Sudan or about Saddam's genocide against the Kurds and Shia.
Honestly, most of us were that way until 9/11. I was very busy with my own business, not a care in the world for what happened to Afghanis or Iraqis. Except for a few headlines, I had little clue what was happening there or the reasons behind it. I knew we defeated the old Soviet Union.
What we see now is the natural knee-jerk, pull-back reaction to keep from being in the fight anymore that must eventually be won against radical Islam. People want to go back to living in comfort without fear, without the liberal news media repeating that America is evil because we actually stood up against a tyrant. All of this is very ironic, comical, sad and complex.
If "we just talk" to the Arab nations, or if "we just talk to Iran" etc., is the tendency as said, when most are well off. If we just follow the liberal media and stop being "mean" old American bullies in the world, the world will then love us.
This power struggle happens at the highest levels in our nation and in Europe. The whole world waits or actually tries to influence our election these days. The liberals and far left, socialist, communist in Europe obviously wants a weak America, just like they desire a weak people under the new EU despotic regime.
Most people want to be left alone, isolated, except of course when it comes to global warming. That they'll fight for. And they'll damn everyone with high taxes to do it too.
Obama is right about one thing. The history and direction of the world will be decided by who is the next President. The stakes are high for all people around the world that truly desire freedom, not just Americans.
Elect Obama and liberty stops marching, it halts in its tracks. In fact, liberty may step backwards under his deception and cowardly command.

Whats so funny about this situation, is that whenever Obama is forced to "clarify" his statements about Iran or Jerusalem, he ends up parroting the Bush administration's policies.

From my studies of Obama, I suspect Obama's error (which I didn't hesitate to call Obama on in comments on Gateway's earlier post about the original AIPAC speech), was not propaganda or bad-intentioned, but was a case of using language that means one thing in policy talk of experts and another to ordinary people.
What does Barack Obama really believe?? He makes a policy statement and within 24 hours, changes that position to just the opposite. The Republicans will have a field day with ads just showing his own words. If he cannot stand up to published pressure on issues, how can he sit and negotiate with our enemies face to face. He will give away the store. Sorry, he is not ready for prime time. It is like making the manager of the mail room the new CEO of a company without working his way to the top. No company is stupid enough to do that. We will see in the fall whether or not this great country insists on more than mailroom experience. Obama's book "The Audacity of Hope" should have just been "The Audacity!"

Any nation or culture that tried to mess around with the nation of Israel was destroyed -- while we Jews kept going! Egypt? Anyone knows where their empire disappeared to? Greeks?
