President Wannabe Rides His Bike With Flat Tire in 87° Weather In Jeans

The high today in Chicago was 87° (It felt like 90°.)
But, that didn't stop Barack Obama from putting on his jeans and riding his bike with a flat tire down by Lake Michigan in Chicago.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., goes for a bike ride in Chicago, Sunday, June 8, 2008. (AP)

The outing with the Obamas and their neighbors was cut short by a downpour.

  1. A) What was he hauling in the baby carrier?

    B) I bet he wore the faggy looking helmet just to make the nanny-state types happy.

Yes the Obamas are idiots but for the last time the plural of Obama is Obamas, not Obama's.

  3. After his ride, the obamster declared, "That wasn't the flat tire I once knew."

Actually, the tire wasn't flat....the obamster just has his rear in a rut....already. :-)

BEAR - It kind of looks like the tire is in a rut,but other photos clearly show the tire is indeed flat, or nearly so. The front tire looks a little low too.

And the out-of-air tires raise a question - how often does he ride a bike? It's hard as the dickens to ride a bike with tires that are low on air, much less ones that are nearly flat. If the rainstorm had not shortened their ride, Obama's exhaustion would have.

  6. Chicago probably has a mandatory bike helmet law.

And personally I think it is a good idea to wear one in a city setting. You never know what idiot yapping on his cell phone while putzing with his GPS is going to blow through a stoplight.

You don't thing people at school made fun of this guy?

  10. It really is unfortunate that so many Americans have so much hate in their hearts. Is it really necessary? Doesn't seem so christian to me... I wouldn't treat my neighbor that way, even if I disagreed with him. Try having some compassion, you might be on the other end of those hateful words one day.
