(Messiah from Watching America)
Maybe Reverend Wright can help with the rewrite:
"I cried all night. I’m going to be crying for the next four years. What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history. ...The event itself is so extraordinary that another chapter could be added to the Bible to chronicle its significance."Guess who?
Does that mean, if he's not elected, it's no big deal. That makes me feel better.
ReplyDelete"What Barack Obama has accomplished is the single most extraordinary event that has occurred in the 232 years of the nation’s political history." - Jesse Jackson
ReplyDeleteOne could argue Jesse Jackson wasn't saying it was the most important event in U.S. history, but the most important political event in U.S. history, and think there is some validity to that claim. I have no problem with recognizing the historic first Senator Obama has achieved.
That said, I think Senator Obama is out of his ever loving mind and trust he will be trounced in November, thus relegating his historic campaign to a footnote for the history books.
McCain, it is enough to make one gag. The statement is blasphemous on its own, but it is also patently false. The single most important political event in our history is our very existence as a nation. Our Declaration of Independence and our U.S. Constitution are two of the three most remarkable (and inspired) documents in the history of the world, the other being the Bible.
ReplyDeleteI believe it is utterly unremarkable that a person of mixed race has a chance at our Presidency. It is, however, a matter of note that the libs have advanced a canditate who is so stunningly incompetent. Obama makes Kerry look like a genius, which is no small feat.
Obama's most noticeable accomplishment to-date has been to embolden so many members of the democrat party to feel comfortable presenting themselves as complete morons.
whoops...."candidate."
ReplyDeleteYoung Mr. Jackson needs a reality check. May I suggest a size 9 steel toe logger in his backside at a high rate of speed?

ReplyDeleteThis type of tripe is typical of those who are either ignorant of what the Bible is or what the Bible says, or who hold the Bible in the same (or lesser) esteem as the New York Times!
Considering the type of "preacher" his father was, I'm not surprised!
