Is it how can I protect my life?
Protect my wife? Protect my rights?
Every other president was nottin' less than white
'Cept Thoman Jefferson and mixed indian blood
and calvin coolers
KKK is like 'what the f*ck', loadin' they guns up
Im loadin' mine too, Ready to ride
Cause im ridin with my crew
He dies - we die too
Rapper NasI don't believe this latest single by the depraved rapper Nas (Audio Here) will be a huge hit with independent voters in West Virginia or Ohio.
"Black President"
...But, that's just me.
You'll notice on the bottom of this photo- Directed at Barack Obama.
Let's be honest... This rap will scare the hell out of whitey.
There's not many older white voters who appreciate the artistic value in this piece--
And, they will be especially turned off after they hear about his other songs.
There are not too many older white Americans who value this toxic, violent, sexist music.
There are not too many older white Americans who want to promote it.
(Please be respectful in the comments.)
UPDATE: BG found the lines to the Black President. I am posting them so you too can enjoy this latest postitive and uplifting rap by Nas:
They forgot us on the block
Got us in the box
Solitary confinement
How violent are these cops?
They need an early retirement
How many rallies will I watch?
I ain't got it in me to march
I got a semi to spark
The game's in a drought
Public housing, projects
Cooking up in the Pyrex
My set, my click
Either getting money
Or running from homicide trial
That's if they ain't died yet
Trying to be rich
Still I'm pledging allegiance
A predicate felon, a ghetto leader
Lending my poetical genius
To whoever may need it
I bleed this from Queensbridge
Now living with my feet up
Never defeated
So a president's needed
Y'know these colored folks and Negroes
Hate to see one of their own succeeding
America, suprise us
And let a black man guide us
Whats the black pres thinkin on election night
Is it how can I protect my life?
Protect my wife? Protect my rights?
Every other president was nottin' less than white
'Cept Thoman Jefferson and mixed indian blood
and calvin coolers
KKK is like 'what the f*ck', loadin' they guns up
Im loadin' mine too, Ready to ride
Cause im ridin with my crew
He dies - we die too
But on a positive side, I think Obama provides
Hope - and challenges minds
Of all races and colours to erase the hate
And try and love one another, so many political snakes
We in need of a break, Im thinkin' I can trust this brotha
But will he keep it way real ?
Every innocent n!gga in jail - gets out on appeal
When he wins - will he really care still?
[Black President Lyrics On http://www.elyricsworld.com/ ]
Say a prayer for "do we have to?"
You ain't right, Jeremiah Wrong pastor
In love with a slave master
Sincerely yours
USA most brave rapper
Jesse car-jacker
Uncle Tom-kidnapper
Ask around
Bentley Coupe off the richter
B!tch-called-life, I pimped her
What?
Politics, politricks
Klan-shooter
Deacon for defense
Progress-producer
Nothing on the stove
Your survival-booster
Gotta do what we gotta do
We ain't got no governors coming through - to help
Anything we need done, we gotta do for self
New-improved JFK on the way
It ain't the 60's again
Niqqas ain't hippies again
We ain't falling for the same traps
Standing on the balconies
Where they shot the King at
McCain got apologies
Ain't nobody hearing that
People need honesty
The caption says "Directed at Barack Obama", not "Directed by Barack Obama". Big difference.
ReplyDeleteNas is a talented rapper who has done some very good work along with the bad. However, I couldn't care less about his political opinions.
I generally agree with Dave in NYC, and I note that the lyrics to Nas' song do not seem to be negative, or dangerous.
ReplyDeleteIf I were a black person, I would be happy that America was making it clear that we are ready to have a black President.
Nothing wrong with that.
Maybe I'm missing something.
I love your blog, but NAS is an extremely talented rapper technically who is just that a rapper. On the other hand, Michelle Obama is truly scary;-).
ReplyDeleteWhat's a nas?

"Open Season" - Stuck Mojo
lyrics
I speak peace when peace is spoken, But I speak war when your hate is
provoking, The season is open 24-7-365, Man up yo time to ride, No
need to hide behind slogans of deceit, Claiming that you're a religion
of peace, We just don't believe you, We can clearly see through, The
madness that you're feeding your people, Jihad the cry of your unholy
war, Using the willing, the weak and poor, From birth drowning in
propaganda, rhetoric and slander, All we can say is damn ya
My forefathers fought and died for this here
I'm stronger than your war of fear
Are we clear?
If you step in my hood
It's understood
It's open season
(repeated a few times throughout)
I don't need a faith that's blind, Where death and hate bring me peace
of mind, With views that are stuck deep in the seventh century, So
much sand in your eyes to blind to see, The venom that you leaders
preach, Is the path to your own destruction, Your own demise, You
might say that I don't understand but your disgust for me is what I
realize, Surprise!
Your homicidal ways has got the whole world watching, Whole world
scoping, So if you bring it to my home base, Best believe it, The
season's open
I see you, Hell yeah I see you, Motherfucker naw, I don't wanna be
you, If you come to my place, I'll drop more than just some bass, Yo
you'll get a taste of a, Sick motherfucker from the Dirty, I ain't
worrying not a fucking bit, I'm telescoping like Hubble, Yo you in
trouble, Yo on the double, I'm wild with mine, Bring that style with
mine, Fuck with my family I'll end your line, Just the way it is, Just
the way it be, Do you understand? No matter if you're woman or man, or
child, My profile is crazy, That shit you do doesn't amaze me, I'm
ready to blaze thee
I don't give a damn what god you claim, I've seen the innocent that
you've slain, On my streets you're just fair game, Like a pig walk to
your slaughter, The heat here is so much hotter, And my views won't
teeter totter or fluctuate, Step to me you just met your fate, And
I'll annihilate, With the skill of a Shogun assassin, Slicing and
dicing precise with a passion, In any shape form or fashion, Bring it
to my home, Welcome to the danger zone, Cause your attitude's the
reason, The triggers keep squeezing, The hunt is on and it's open
season
It's Open Season

ReplyDelete"I'm American," by Stuck Mojo
I'm an American related to all colors of brethren, Priests and Pastors and Prophets and Reverends, Divided we fall united we stand together man, In this cultural melting pot there's nothing better than, This land of the free and the home of the brave, Populated by ancestors of immigrants and slaves who met early graves So we could see brighter days and we could proudly praise and raise the stars and stripes as Americans
Hate me
Blame me
You can't shame me
Come and stand with me
I'm American
I'm an American born in these states united, Where racial discrimination keeps us so divided, But we've got free speech so I won't be quiet, We got a lot of problems here man I won't deny it, But ain't another place that I'd rather be, Than in this land of great opportunity, Where we can be anything that we wanna be, So until the day I D-I-E, I stand tall as an American
God Bless Stuck Mojo!! (thumbsup)

ReplyDeleteThis is the same foul mouthed, violent, gun glorifying, cop killa lyric @sswipe who was invited to the campus of virginia tech 6 months after THE WORST mass murder on a college campus, evah!
ReplyDeleteHe sang his songs (like "Shoot 'Em Up") for the kiddies to opromote 'peace n harmony'.
He also has a new single out - "Be A Nigger Too".
Can I call him that to his face?
Go to his WIKI page and feel free to edit it.

How about these Nas lyrics?
ReplyDeleteknow I can
Be what I want to be
If I work hard at it
I'll be where I want to be
[Kids]
I know I can (I know I can)
Be what I want a be (be what I want a be)
If I work hard at it (If I work hard at it)
I'll be where I want a be (I'll be where I want a be)
[Nas]
Be, B-Boys and girls, listen up
You can be anything in the world, in God we trust
An architect, doctor, maybe an actress
But nothing comes easy it takes much practice
Like, I met a woman who's becoming a star
She was very beautiful, leaving people in awe
Singing songs, Lena Horn, but the younger version
Hung with the wrong person
got her strung on that heroin
cocaine sniffing up drugs all in her nose...
Coulda died, so young, now looks ugly and old
No fun cause now when she reaches for hugs people hold they breath
Cause she smells of corrosion and death
Watch the company you keep and the crowd you bring
Cause they came to do drugs and you came to sing
So if you gonna be the best, I'm a tell you how,
Put your hands in the air, and take a vow
[Chorus - 2x (Nas and Kids)]
I know I can (I know I can)
Be what I want a be (be what I want a be)
If I work hard at it (If I work hard at it)
I'll be where I want a be (I'll be where I want a be)
[Nas]
Be, B-Boys and girls, listen again
This is for grown looking girls who's only ten
The ones who watch videos and do what they see
As cute as can be, up in the club with fake ID
Careful, 'fore you meet a man with HIV
You can host the TV like Oprah Winfrey
Whatever you decide, be careful, some men be
Rapists, so act your age, don't pretend to be
Older than you are, give yourself time to grow
You thinking he can give you wealth, but so
Young boys, you can use a lot of help, you know
You thinking life's all about smoking weed and ice
You don't want a be my age and can't read and write
Begging different women for a place to sleep at night
Smart boys turn to men and do whatever they wish
If you believe you can achieve, then say it like this
[Chorus]
[Nas]
Be, be, 'fore we came to this country
We were kings and queens, never porch monkeys
It was empires in Africa called Kush
Timbuktu, where every race came to get books
To learn from black teachers who taught Greeks and Romans
Asian, Arabs and gave them gold when
Gold was converted to money it all changed
Money then became empowerment for Europeans
The Persian military invaded
They heard about the gold, the teachings, and everything sacred
Africa was almost robbed naked
Slavery was money, so they began making slave ships
Egypt was the place that Alexander the Great went
He was so shocked at the mountains with black faces
Shot off they nose to impose what basically
Still goes on today, you see?
If the truth is told, the youth can grow
Then learn to survive until they gain control
Nobody says you have to be gangstas, hoes
Read more learn more, change the globe
Ghetto children, do your thing
Hold your head up, little man, you're a king
Young Princess when you get your wedding ring
Your man is saying "She's my queen"
