Obama Camp Draws Fire For Berlin Campaign Rally
More Hope, Change and Arrogance...
Obama will campaign at the Victory Column in Berlin, Germany, the symbol of German superiority over Denmark, Austria and France.
The choice of the Victory Column was made after Chancellor Angela Merkel made it known to Obama's team that she did not approve of him campaigning at the Brandenburg Gate.

Today the Obama campaign talked about their campaign plans for Berlin.
The Politico reported:
At a morning background briefing, reporters parried with senior advisers on the characterization of Obama’s speech Thursday in Berlin as a campaign rally. The outdoor speech at the Victory Column could draw thousands of people, similar to the size of Obama events in the United States.Hat Tip Nahanni
“It is not going to be a political speech,” said a senior foreign policy adviser, who spoke to reporters on background. “When the president of the United States goes and gives a speech, it is not a political speech or a political rally."
“But he is not president of the United States,” a reporter reminded the adviser.
CNN Host David Gergen reminded viewers last night that we only have one president at a time.
Someone must have missed telling Jim-may Carter that a while back.

The Victory Column, also known as the Siegessaeule in German, has a local reputation that most outsiders don´t know about.
It is also the symbol of the Gay community in Berlin. (The mayor of Berlin is Gay...coincidence on him approving the Siegessaeule for the Obama speech location???)

John McCain finally realizes the MSM is in bed with Obama.
Related to Obama's increasing appearance of presumptuousness, I've noticed a bit of blowback locally (Florida) that was surprising to me: the black community. My city's fairly segregated, racially, and I happen to live in the part of town with a large black population. So I was chatting with my neighbors and when Obama came up, I was really surprised to hear several of them now say that they don't like Obama due to his cockiness. I'm hearing this more and more, just don't have a pulse on whether this is a purely local phenomenon or not.

Obama's Fact-Fudging Mission in Iraq

[Obama arrived in Iraq on Monday for what is described as a fact-finding mission. However, it’s hard to believe Obama is actually searching for facts in Iraq, nor will the facts he finds change his position. The position he chose for himself, as well as all the comments he has made so far about Iraq, reflect a disregard for facts, and there is no reason to expect a change now.
This visit, for Obama, is just a necessary evil — part of an electoral campaign and not a sincere fact-finding mission. The state-owned Al-Sabah quoted a senior official, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the subject, as saying: “The change in the prime minister’s position has to do with his own perception of the political developments in the United States…Maliki thinks that Obama is most likely to win in the presidential election and that he will withdraw his country’s troops from Iraq as he pledged in his campaign.” The official added that Maliki sees that “he’s got to take preemptive steps before Obama gets to the White House.”]

You expect to much. After all, he is just the Paris Hilton of Politics (famous for being famous). And as far as his Excellent Adventure - he's just trying to get his Forrest Gump on (associate himself with someone else's history/ accomplishment).
