This is Guaranteed To Make Democratic Heads Explode...

But... But... They're broken and worn out.

Didn't they listen to Barack?... There's no military solution!
This can't be happening.
They're just depressed. They're medicated.
They're too stupid and ended up in Iraq. And, now they're too stupid to know they're fighting a lost war.
Don't they know it's a failure?

The stress has made them cold-blooded killers .

Today 1,200 US troops reenlisted in Iraq- at a former Saddam Hussein palace:

Bob Krumm Video

This was one for the record books--
More than 1,200 US troops serving in Iraq signed up for extended service in the military to mark America's Independence day on Friday.

General David Petraeus led the airmen, Marines, Sailors, and Soldiers in their oath to defend their country against all enemies both foreign and domestic.

Democrats were wrong.

This war is won.

  1. The Seattle P-I (a tawdry camp-follower of the New York Times) today carefully omits that touching re-enlistment ceremony from the news, but goes out of its way to provide two defeatist articles:
Pentagon Extends Marines' Tour in Afghanistan - and Recruits With Families Often Quit Boot Camp.

Hell, if I had the chance to take the oath administered by THE General Petraeus, I'd re-up myself.

  2. For every hero on the stage
On parade or in the grave
With medals pinned and glory flags unfurled

    The humble serviceman by scores
Packs the caissons, Guards the doors
Sails sea and sky across the troubled world

Comrades in arms who heard the call
And stepped across that line for all
Knowing well that fate might call their name

They crossed that sword mark in the dust
For freedoms sake and God they trust
And did it not for fortunes gold or fame

    This Independence Day give thanks
To soldiers past and current ranks
And Praise Eternal God that they were there

    Oh quiet heroes, every one
Without your hand, naught would be won
Pray our acclaim, the purest badge you wear

  4. Thanks for your kind assessment GP.
My debt to these young Americans is beyond my ability to pay. We who reap the benifits of their devotion must be resolved to confront their detractors and protect our fellow citizens from abuse by both thug and tyrant.

I guess these poor schlubs need Jon Cary's halp.

Remember what the members of 1st Brigade 34th Infantry did when they heard what John Kerry told an audience of college students in California if they didn't study?:

"Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

In response to the junior gasbag from Massachusettes stupid comment, members of the 1st Brigade 34th Infantry Division at Tallil Airbase, Iraq, created a big banner with the legend:

"Halp Us Jon Carry We R Stuck in Irak (c and k printed backward)."

They took a picture of themselves holding the banner which was seen by millions on TV and the 'net.

All kidding aside, God Bless them all. They are proof that some are good at defending freedom. And others are just good at enjoying freedom. How sad.

Thanks for the link. It was an awesome event. I’m only saddened that apparently a couple dingbats at Monticello got more media play on the 4th of July than did this unprecedented reenlistment ceremony.

Sad indeed bob krum but it fits the MSM template it seems...

It seems that enough customers are irritated that its possibly affecting at least one facet of the MSM...

    "This war is won."

    Wow. Just, like, wow.

You guys never learn do you?

If the "war is won" and the "surge worked" them why do we have to stay for 100 years?

That's the million dollar question that no Republican can answer.

    Try again, punter.
