Chicago elitist BHO wants to campaign at NASCAR.

As Barack Obama continues his focus on states that usually vote Republican in presidential elections, word comes that he may campaign at a NASCAR event. Why? Well, to paraphrase a supposed Willy Sutton line that he robbed banks because that's where the money is, if Obama needs white working-class voters in the fall, there are few better places to find them than at a NASCAR event.Remember: It's BYOA-- Bring your own arugula.
Roll Call has the news, but it's behind their subscription wall. Briefly, they quote Obama spokeswoman Jen Psaki as saying a campaign appearance was a possibility but no dates or firm confirmations were offered. "We would love to make it to a NASCAR race if the schedule permits," she said.

Either Obama is going to make the time to visit NASCAR or not make the time. Don't ever say "maybe be friends" between doses of "crumble says-a-me, bitter bigot cracker" while pimping for votes.
If malleable BHO has the nerve to show up to NASCAR, I hope he gets the blue collar cold shoulder.
Why NASCAR, when this is more his crowd?
ReplyDeleteBuncha high-rolling frat boys with too much money, and too much champagne to waste it on stock car racing. He'd feel right at home. And, the driving is reminiscent of rush-hour traffic in Chicago.
I heard he wanted to drive the pace car but was disqualfied by his penchant for swerving to the right when it suited him.

Barack Obama: raised by a single mother and his maternal grandparents. Got into college and graduate schools through his own merit, not by who his father or grandfather was. Finished law school and instead of working in lucrative job in prestigious law firm, works as a community organizer in Chicago.

George W. Bush: Scion of a wealthy, fabulously wealthy influential family, (Daddy head of CIA and Congressman) gets into TANG through his father's influence and serves in Texas during the Viet Nam war, which he supported, but didn't volunteer to fight in. Couldn't get into law school at the UT, but got his MBA at HAHVid, you know, that LIBERAL school in Cambridge, Mass. Heh.
