A military tribunal found Osama Bin Laden's driver Salim Hamdan guilty on several charges. He was accused of 10 counts of conspiracy and aiding terrorism.
The Times Online reported:
Osama bin Laden's chauffeur has been found guilty of supporting terrorism, in the first verdict to be delivered by the US's war crimes tribunal at Guantanamo Bay.Lawhawk says Salim Hamdan guilty of three charges, which could put him in prison for life.
But the jury of six US military officers found Salim Hamdan, a Yemeni, not guilty on a second charge of conspiracy, after three days of deliberations. He now faces a potential life sentence.
It follows a two-week military trial at the US naval base on Cuba – the first war crimes trial in the US since the Second World War.
Hamdan, estimated to be aged about 40, was arrested in Afghanistan in November 2001, soon after the US invasion which deposed the Taleban regime that was harbouring Mr bin Laden and his al-Qaeda associates.
During the trial... It was revealed that Hamdan blamed the weak actions of the Clinton Administration for emboldening Osama Bin Laden .
This was ignored by the media.

UPDATE: That didn't take long. The ACLU is crying over Hamdan's conviction.

During the trial... Hamdan blamed the weak actions of the Clinton Administration for emboldening Osama Bin Laden according to testimony.
This was mostly ignored by the media.
Of course it was. Just like you will never see any video from 9/11 ever rebroadcast again nor will you ever see "The Path to 9/11" rebroadcast or made available for sale.
The Democrats and their MSM lickspittles are desperately trying to shove what happened on 9/11 down the memory hole (along with anything that makes the Obamamessiah look bad) and what then can not bury they are trying to rewrite to suit their agenda.
Always remember that the Democrats, the MSM and the moonbats read Orwell's "1984" not as a warning but as an instruction manual.
I feel so much safer now that Bush has convicted Bin Laden's . . . .limo driver . . . . WTF?

In my opinion you would deserve it, too. The only way idiots like you learn anything is the hard way. Unfortunately you would not live long enough to profit from that particular lesson.
Why the driver? I tend to view al-Qeada like the Mafia. And if you look at the history of teh mafia, the "drivers" of the big dons usually turned out to be big shots themselves. Why? Because they got known by the other big shots and were trusted enough that they would sit there and could losten while the big shots discussed things.
One down, a thousand to go.
Have the America haters filed their lawsuits against this yet? Has the World Court convicted American or the President yet? Not sure what's taking them so long. Everyone knows these are just poor victims of American imperialism. We must let them go (so that we can shoot them down in Afghanistan instead of taking them prisoner again).
The FAS site has the following on Hamdam: The trial court found Mohammed Hamdan Hussein guilty of possession of illegal weapons, in violation of Coalition Provisional Authority Order 3, and sentenced him to six years imprisonment. Coalition forces apprehended the defendant after a search of his house revealed two AK-47s, one RPG launcher and several RPG rockets....
