Amazing the extent to which ignorance can simply materialize slogans and symbols without substance or logic. I believe this (hand gesture) was the only ingredient missing to officially call Obama supporters CULT members.
1. illogical explanation of circumstance and corrective actions.
2. Worldly possessions are a bad thing and must be taxed or taken.
3. The "One" shall cater to your every need.
And
4. A hand gesture to signify unity within the deranged association.

When I was a schoolboy, using that two-handed gesture forming an "O" would have been enough to get the crap beat out of you.

The space hippies were looking for Eden, thought they found it, only to find that the place was a lot different and far more deadly than expected. Sounds about right.
Cool! Now we just need some sort of greeting we can say to each other to go along with the new hand gesture. Here is my idea, how about "Heil Obama". It's kind of foreign sounding like "Vero Possumus". That would be kind of cool. And then at the DNC convention we can all chant in unison Sieg Heil! and Heil Obama!

The salute is very juvenile - they should all grow up.
neo comes close (beat me to it about asshats) but it really signifies Barry - flesh on the outside, empty on the inside, the perfect sign for the empty suit that is The Obomination.
Doesn't sound like this has any actual buy-in from the campaign, or anyone. Nor does it look like they are actually the same hand signals.

What's intersting to me about htat episode is the guy who played the guitar and was the cool, hip one is the same guy that played an amry general in "Austin Powers".

Obama's graphic is disturbing. The melding of both hands into one as if everything must fit through his round gate or be refused entry into his kingdom.
The graphic looks like Obama answered the little girl's question, "Why are you running for President?" with the response, "See these hands? They make it all the better to wring your neck with, my dear!"

When Nimoy met Obama, Obama gave Nimoy the "Vulcan salute". Nimoy said now he was sure who to vote for. haha I love it-our next president being part Vulca and people are worried about him being black and/or Muslim when it is the Romulans they need to worry about!
The new Obama salute is scary in more ways than one...it signifies his interest in creating the "One world government", and at the same time makes it look like you are praying to him. Isn't that what the dems are doing? Praying to him to save them from the evil republicans who have kept them safe in their country for 8 years?
Isn't everything the Obama campaign has said or done been copied from somewhere else?
