In December 2006 Bryant Purvis and Carwin Jones and four other black students cold-cocked Justin Barker in Jena, LA and beat him unconsious, stomping and kicking on him until another student intervened.
This week they were celebrated.

"By no means are we condoning a six-on-one beat-down," Williams said during his introduction of the teens, one of whom is still facing attempted murder charges in connection with the attack on white student Justin Barker. "... But the injustice perpetrated on these young men is straight criminal."Uniting around what cause??
As Jones and Purvis walked onto the stage at the Atlanta Civic Center, where the awards show was filmed on Saturday, they were greeted by a standing ovation.
"They don't look so tough, do they?" Williams joked as the teens stepped up to the podium.
Both Jones and Purvis thanked a number of people, including family, friends, the "Hip-Hop Nation" and the thousands who came to their small hometown to rally behind their case.
Purvis said the Sept. 20 rally proved "our generation can unite and rally around a cause."
The teens assisted Williams in presenting the Video of the Year honor to Kanye West for "Stronger." Purvis handed the award to West, who in turn shook hands with both teens...

Walk into an "afro-centric" bookstore and browse the titles: You'll find plenty of books and pamphlets which resemble nothing so much as Nazi and Klan propaganda.
ReplyDeleteBlack Americans can openly express hatred for whites, hispanics, Koreans and other asians, and they suffer no consequences. One important reason for this shameful situation is that many blacks are stone-cold racists and many more don't give a damn about those who are not black, and most of the rest are utterly unwilling to publicly condemn blacks, no matter how evil they may be, as long as their evil is directed against non-blacks. Black and liberal intellectuals have even constructed elaborate rationales to argue that blacks by definition cannot be racists. You would think that liberals would speak out against such blatent racism, but that cannot happen, because half of today's liberals are afraid to stand up for what's right, and the other half can't tell right from wrong.

It's funny. White people were pretty ok with all forms of bigotry and prejudice for close to 500 years. Now that white men are experiencing just a taste for the past few years, prejudice and racism must cease.
Get real! All these anecdotes about not getting a firefighter's position or not getting into school have nothing to do with the number of minorities hired. You just suck - face it.

OK, so a student of Irish-American descent announces at school that he thinks it's unfair he can't sit under the tree where all the Asian students congregate. The next day two dark-skinned, sharp-nosed teenagers nail to the tree trunk a picture of two Blackwater mercenaries being hung from a bridge in Baghdad by their necks.

Later, a chinky-eyed friend of one of the two darkies makes a smartmouthed comment about the explosive vest to one of the Irish dude's buddies. Mad and scared and wanting to teach these rice-eaters a lesson about terrorist death threats, the "Fighting Irish" grab the gook and bash him into the ground with their bare hands and Skecher sneaks.
Well, sounds to me like these boys were simply upholding the honor of their hometown in the face of foreign aggression.
Get real, guys: A noose hanging from a tree in the American South symbolizes a terrorist death threat. No frigging joke. And patriotic American citizens (yes, even African American teenagers who watch rap videos) have an obligation to resist terrorism on their soil, "by any means necessary." Right?
Even if it resulted in him getting suspended from school (and getting brought up on charges for "Assault with a Deadly Sneaker"), wouldn't you be secretly proud that your boy stomped a punk of another ethnicity who told him to watch his back so he wouldn't get lynched?
Truth is, all these Jena kids need Jesus (Euro and Afro). But if you can't understand the young Brothas' wanting to defend The American Homeland from the threat of Irish lynch mobs, then GO BACK TO MOSCOW YOU RED COMMIE SCUM!

I am a Congolese man in America. I own my business after 5 years here, and white men have never tried to stop me. The violent uneducated American black men are shameful. They make the world think people of my color cannot even become civilized in a country as rich as the US. Some of them have said to me that it is because they have nothing, which does not make sense. To see what it means to have nothing they should go live in djomba for a time.

ReplyDeleteThis situation won't last. As the economy goes from bad to worse, the underlying racial tension will become more and more difficult for the media to hide. At some point it's going to get rough and a lot of people will die.
ReplyDeleteHistorically, the end result is open warfare. Thomas Chittum predicted it in his book "Civil War III, The Coming Breakup Of America." I'd be remiss not to point out that almost all of Chittum's predictions have come true since the book was published in '96.
It's not that I don't care, it's just that it no longer effects me because I left the US. It's not worth living in an asylum with psychotics who won't even allow a discussion of what the problems are, much less effective solutions.
BET and the entire hip hop culture just lost. I will never watch a program, nor buy another record.

When absurdity strikes the person of white color, and a black person is standing at the core of the "cause", the entire black race will fight dirty just because the person is black, no matter how wrong they are.
I'm so tired of this. I grew up on rap and hip hop. But I will never buy another album or support BET. I'm done - this is the last straw - This blatantly takes the cake like I have never felt before. Screw you people!
