Two Christians Killed After Sheik Calls For Jihad On TV

Two Christians were murdered in northern Nigeria after an Islamic sheik called for violent jihad during his broadcasts on local television.
One Christian was killed with a sword- one Christian was beaten with clubs.

KADUNA, Nigeria, October 22 (Compass Direct News) – One man has been killed with a sword and another bludgeoned to death in this city in central northern Nigeria following Muslim leaders’ appeal to wage violent jihad against youthful Christians. Muslim extremists on October 12 murdered Henry Emmanuel Ogbaje, a 24-year-old Christian, at an area known as Gamji Gate. The following day, church leaders said, a young Christia the Rev. Joshua Magaji n identified only as Basil was beaten to death with wooden clubs in the same area.

Elder Saidu Dogo, secretary of the northern Nigeria chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, told Compass that Islamic leader Sheik Gumi had urged Muslims to wage jihad against Christians in televised broadcasts during the Islamic month-long observance of Ramadan. “He specifically called for a jihad,” Dogo told Compass, “and that when they go killing they should not kill the elderly people, because the elderly have spent their years already, but that Muslims should kill young Christians.”

    Would love to see the world's reaction if Christians started killing young moooslems during our observation of Christmas. Their holidays are all wrapped around hatred. This, the peacful religon of Islam.

    This shows how inflencial shieks and imams are, and how gullible the uneducated are. Most thugs in Islam are grossly uneducated.

    I recall last year Christians in the Sudan finally said ENOUGH and started beating back their aggressors. They burned down a Muslim village and killed many. I really can't blame them. At some point, enough is enough.

    I wouldn't say Muslims in Africa represent Islam, however. They're more like pagans influenced by bad theology and Islamic extremism.

    And yet, when you look at Muslims in the Middle East, be it Egypt or Yemen or many other countries, you find plenty of examples of incitement to violence. In fact, MEMRI just posted another item on Egyptian texts used to teach young children to hate and attack "infidels". And don't forget that this is not a recent problem. Go back 200 years, 300 years, whatever, and you will find plenty of examples of Muslim violence and intolerance and oppression. Because that's what Islam is.
