Betty Casey wins Harry Reid Smear Letter!

UPDATE: Rush Limbaugh was on Hannity and Colmes on Thursday night.
This is what he had to say about the smear letter from Harry Reid-
Rush Gets The Last Laugh:

Rush Limbaugh gets the last laugh:

"Dingy Harry has got to be livid over this. It's a letter with his signature. Its got $851,100 on it in terms of somebody wanting to buy it. He must have never expected that this would be made so public even though he read it on the Senate Floor and even though he released a press release about it. He's got to be livid this has gotten out! He's got to be livid this is happening. And, look at all of their failures from the S-CHIP Program, they failed to override the veto, all of their failures when they talk about the FISA Program. They totally caved. With 55 Resolutions to get us out of Iraq. They don't have the guts to take away funding for the war. These two, Reid and Pelosi are two of the most ineffective leaders in the House and Senate in my lifetime. They have to be fuming over this!"
WOW!!... Finally, a way for Democrats to support the troops!!
Thank you, Senator Reid!
Thank you 41 smearing Democrats! Your smear has raised $851,000 for the US Marines.

Harry Reid's smear letter to Rush fetches $851,000 for US Marines on eBay!

And, there's still 16 hours to go!
You can still bid on the letter!

** While Democratic Congressmen were bashing the military today on the House Floor,
Rush Limbaugh's eBay project to support the US Marines is up to $851,000!

HERE is an earlier post with the video of Rush announcing that he will auction off the letter.

Radio Equalizer is following the bidding.

Hat Tip to BG!

  1. I'd be very curious to know who ends up with it, be they a person or a group.

I could hope it gets widely displayed. But I won't be surprised if some group on the Left bid upon it, just for the chance of burying it.

I just signed into Ebay and they let me bid. For over a half a million dollars. And I am over drawn on my one credit card. With a $500 limit. Lol. Anyone with an Ebay account can bid. There is no guarantee they are legitimate bids. I would love to see if someone actually PAYS for this instead of jokes bids. They did nothing to verify bidders expect say they needed a credit card on file. Well that is 99% of most Ebayers with no way of checking the amount. What a joke.

if you did what you said you did (which i highly doubt).. then it is YOU who are the joke for taking something that seriously benefits so many so lightly.. shame on you whoever you are pretending to be under the cloak of anonymity (or not)..

Anonymous is a prevaricating idiot. All bidders on this auction must be pre-qualified and vetted, so there's no way he could have done what he claims he did.

Anonymous, why don't you shuck out of your jammies, move out of your parents' house, and get a real life? Or is that too much to ask?

On a totally different note, has Rush ever been designated an Honorary Marine? If he hasn't, I expect he soon will be.

  7. With Rush matching the amount, that makes it 851,100.00 times 2 = $1,702,200. Thanks, Harry!

  8. Bashing the military? What are you talking about? He was talking about George W. Bush sir. Please, quit playing these disingenuous games.

It's pure dishonesty that makes you pretend to misunderstand comments about a president who laughs when he mentions "World War III."

    ReplyDelete
  9. Joshua it is every bit as dishonest to represent a nervous or incredulous chuckle as representing humor. I saw it more as a 'while the hell don't you ignorant assholes get it?' type of mannerism.

If you bid $500,000 and win and do not have the money be prepared to face a civil lawsuit. But I highly doubt you did in fact place a bid.

  14. Now at $2,100,100 * 2 = $4,200,200 for the scholarship fund.

    Otter,
The Dem's can't bury it, bud. Rush has not only instigated this brilliant stroke of antidem genius, but has posted a .pdf of the letter at his homepage for anybody who wants a copy for themselves.

Get yours here! And if you want, you can also donate to the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Fund.

The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation (MCLEF) is a fantastic organization. When my nephew died, they were very helpful and supportive in establishing a charitable fund in his name to help my brother and his wife pay off some medical and funeral bills.

Great bunch of people. Great cause.

  17. Yeah -- can you imagine if some lefty is putting bogus bids up there and welches on the payment? I certainly can. They'd do it in an attempt to make Limbaugh look bad...but that, too, would backfire. Because he'll put up his pledge and, once again, the left won't.

  18. seems like the final bidder has the cash. do a live search on "Betty Casey" and philanthropist

Then don't get too depressed, snarky lefties, maybe one of you can explain exactly how Rush insulted our soldiers. That should be fun.

OMG!! Reid is "cashing in" on Rush's auctioning his letter via posting the eBay addy & asking people to donate at HIS website!!

not only that.. he's still flinging his false accusations re: "phony soldiers".. what a freakin' PHONY & the DUMMY DHIMMIS will lap this crap up, gah!!

btw: note that Harry 'Plotter' Reid made his speech at noon behind closed doors.. i believe the bidding time was just about up by then.. what an arse (nn 'Pinky' via his wiki bio)..

  22. ++

i believe Rush suggested Harry Plotter match
the bid & donate the same amount.. not sure
if he suggested what Mark Simone (sitting in
for Hannity) did or not (apologies if he did)..

IF THE DHIMMIS ARE SO GUNG HO ON WHAT RUSH DID FOR THE CHARITY .. THEN ALL 40
SIGNATORIES SHOULD MATCH THE BID ..

now that's what i call a "gotcha".. (thumbsup)
