That's right... Blowing up US soldiers is "acting irresponsibly!"
How did Barak Obama ever make it this far?
This interview with The New York Times should horrify anyone with an ounce of common sense and decency.
The New York Times reported:
CHICAGO, Oct. 31 — Senator Barack Obama said he would “engage in aggressive personal diplomacy” with Iran if elected president, and would offer economic inducements and a possible promise not to seek “regime change” if Iran stopped meddling in Iraq and cooperated on terrorism and nuclear issues...Somebody wake me-- Is it still Halloween?
In an hourlong interview on Wednesday, Mr. Obama made clear that forging a new relationship with Iran would be a major element of what he pledged would be a broad effort to stabilize Iraq as he executed a speedy timetable for the withdrawal of American combat troops.
Mr. Obama said that Iran had been “acting irresponsibly” by supporting Shiite militant groups in Iraq. He also emphasized that Iran’s suspected nuclear weapons program and its support for “terrorist activities” were serious concerns.
But he asserted that Iran’s support for militant groups in Iraq reflected its anxiety over the Bush administration’s policies in the region, including talk of a possible American military strike on Iranian nuclear installations.
Making clear that he planned to talk to Iran without preconditions, Mr. Obama emphasized further that “changes in behavior” by Iran could possibly be rewarded with membership in the World Trade Organization, other economic benefits and security guarantees.
Is this another "Chuckie" movie?
The horror of an Obama foreign policy:
** Offer economic inducements and rewards to the world's worst terrorist regime from "promises" of good behavior? ...Why do these liberals always insist on trusting terror regimes?
** Promise not to seek regime change??? How does that fit in with the "audacity of hope"? How kind and compassionate of Barak to guarantee more stonings, public executions, trampling on women, homosexuals, students and union leaders. What a brave and compassionate stance-- "Let the downtrodden suffer."
** Barak pledged to stabilize Iraq--- He obviously is not following the news lately.
** Barak says that the mullahs are "acting irresponsibly" by providing bombs to insurgents. Tell that to the families of the dead soldiers. Tell them it was just an "irresponsible" act.
Tell it to the families, Barak.
And, this is what democrats have to offer?
The horror.
Well I guess it should come as no suprise that even though the MSMsphere are finally starting to come around to the idea that force instead of talk is actually producing results as even the USAToday has finally reported that a socialist like Obama and his fellow travelers should ignore this since they are so heavily invested in American defeat...
ReplyDeleteShiite and Iran is a real threat to the USA and the Middle East peace.
ReplyDeleteHopefully the American votors will not elect fools such as these
ReplyDeleteOf course he thinks it's irresponsible. Those IED's usually injure or kill a few of his fellow Muslims. On the other hand, if Iran could guarantee that only "crusaders" were killed....
ReplyDeleteSay, Jim, I had some similar thoughts about Obama's ridiculous positions on Iran.
ReplyDelete++
ReplyDeleteGP.. i think it's more like "audacious stupidity".. at any rate, if B(Hussien)O did his homework (not to mention the rest of the memory deficient politicians).. he'd know we've been talking to Iran for decades & have gotten no place (aka: utopia)..
