CNS News reported:
Eighteen U.S. troops in Iraq were killed by IEDS in October, a greater than 50 percent decline from last October, when 37 U.S. troops were killed in Iraq by IEDs.Of course, Democrat David Obey would argue that this has something to do with the "terrorists running out of people to kill."
In total, according to an analysis by Cybercast News Service, there were 31 combat-related U.S. casualties in Iraq during October. That represents a 24 percent decline from September of this year (when there were 41 combat-related casualties) and a 66 percent decline from October of last year (when there were 91 combat-related U.S. casualties).
Let's Do This refutes the Left's pathetic explanation of casualty reductions.
Speaking of Iraq progress, the left is claiming that its all due to the Mahdi Army stand-down. Comments From Left Field and DailyKos both have stories up on it.
ReplyDeleteI have that narrative counter-posted at my site, http://letsdothis-cavedog.blogspot.com/
Not to troll or anything, but I think that kind of nonsense needs to be rebutted.
Thanks for posting some good news. By the way, you might be interested in the Wounded Warriors Project. It's a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness for U.S. troops severely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. It really puts a face on the cost of this conflict. Here's a link:
